Nice cruise passing by famous monuments. A good time among friends! The - : the seats and tables are fixed so we are a bit stuck once seated. The roof cover is a shame to properly see and take pictures.
It was amazing! Very good organization and very friendly staff. I recommend it
The River Danube is a magnificent sight when lit up at night and the cruise was well worth the time and money. The staff worked very hard and their customer service was exemplary. The food was delicious (although portion sizes are on the small side). I thought 3hrs for the entire cruise (going back and forth along the same patch of river) was just slightly too long for my personal preference. Also, there was only a tiny amount of outside space at the front and back of the boat to admire the view and take in some fresh air, which was disappointing.. I believe the upper deck was being used for a private tour group?
We took the 6 course option for a 6 hour dinner cruise. The 6 courses are composed of 2 amuse-bouche, a starter, a main course, a dessert and a cheese (in that order). The 3-hour cruise is in fact twice the same 1h30 loop, which however allows you to take day and night photos of the main monuments of the city. The show alternates between artists playing pieces of contemporary music with violin and double bass, then a show with traditional Hungarian songs and dances.
Really lovely staff and drinks were filled up instantly would really recommend
If you want a really good evening that will be remembered, you need to take a drink package, a table by the window and a folklore program (and an option for 3 hours). For those who doubt - great vocals, great musicians, 3 hours makes sense to look at the city and out of the window, and go out for a smoke - look from the water. The food is quite ok.
The price-experience relation is just right. We had a great time. Just the fact of being in a cruise at the danube is charming, on top of that, the staff members are polite and the entertainment is fun. The views are amazing if the weather is right. The food presentation is good, and the taste is fine, don't expect outstanding cuisine though.
From the start of evening until the end it was brilliant . The 4 course dining was really good food came out hot and not rushed . A welcome drink on arrival sparkling wine . We paid for unlimited drinks and stuck with the sparkling wine but could have had white wine red wine beers or soft drinks . No sooner we finished a bottle another was brought to us . Entertainment was very enjoyable and we all had a great time
Spent my bday in Budapest and took this amazing cruise. The ride on the Danube was an exceptional experience in and of itself but the dinner and entertainment were the icing on the cake! The dancers and musicians were extremely talented, the singer had a gorgeous voice and the interaction with the audience kept my attention. I had the duck which was perfectly moist, the potatoes excellent and my drinks delicious! I took the cruise on a Monday so it wasn't a full boat so I suggest you try it on a Monday, as well.
Strongly recommend. Very friendly staff. Dinner with a fantastic concoction. It was my brother's birthday dinner and I had asked them, if possible, to sing happy birthday which they did with a fantastic voice to the sound of the violin. We chose the 3-course menu with wonderful quality.
Excellent atmosphere, a friendly young Hungarian singer, a waiter who organized my wife's happy birthday with violins, singer and candles on a piece of cake, not to mention the good meal, unlimited drinks and wine, and the honesty of the manager who served us a reimburses an overpayment when duplicate option purchases, my wife of Hungarian origin especially thanks the singer who she had a long dialogue with, in short Thank you
This has two sides of a score of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. the experience, the cruise, the food, the orchestra, singer and dancers, a good mix which made the night entertaining, 3 hrs long but flew past in no time. The other side of the story is the hidden costs and rip off all inclusive drinks option. The all inclusive drinks option doesn’t include known beers, no spirits, in fact no nothing. All inclusive in there eyes is, local beer, some house wine, tea, coffee and sparkling wine, hardly worthy of the cost of being all inclusive with no option or having to pay, yes pay for spirits, bearing in mind you think you are all inclusive…..Well your NOT! Oh, you pay xtra for a window seat too, unbelievable The food was good, we had 3 courses. Soup, Chicken and Chocolate Brownie. Portion size , The table service was c poor soul “Hannah “ on her own to cover all the tables, large and small parties. She was excellent in trying to provide an adequate service, but some assistance would have helped.
