Details

During the tour "Sightseeing Tour of Alania", you will visit the historic center, stroll along the picturesque streets, see the mosque from the era of Sultan Suleiman, and enjoy the sunset from the observation deck.
Tour Itinerary
From the hotel, you will travel by comfortable bus to a high-altitude viewpoint. After taking memorable photos and enjoying the panorama, you will continue exploring the city. You will take the cable car up to the fortress and visit the Süleymaniye Mosque. The journey ends at Cleopatra Beach, famous for its white sand and rocks rising out of the water. Nearby is the Damlataş Cave, with its healing air and stalactites dating back to the 15th–10th centuries BC.
A sightseeing tour is the first thing to do at the resort. You will get an overview of the historical and modern attractions, Eastern markets, and restaurants.
Red Tower
The Red Fortress (Kızıl Kule) is the symbol of the city. This 30-meter octagonal structure was built in 1226 for defense purposes. Inside, there are 56 watchtowers. Today, 2 of the 5 floors are open to visitors.
Historic Part
Alania is divided by a hill into a historic and a modern part. During the Roman Empire, the settlement was the capital of the province of Pamphylia, and later became the residence of the Seljuk sultans. The ancient Süleymaniye Mosque deserves special attention: the destroyed Seljuk structure was replaced by a temple built by Suleiman the Magnificent.
You will see ancient tombs, the remains of caravanserais, walk along the 8-kilometer fortress wall, and immerse yourself in the Eastern atmosphere of narrow streets and authentic markets.
The tour program includes the Damlataş Cave, Cleopatra Beach, Alanya Castle, and the cable car. You will have 2 hours of free time at the castle.
High-Altitude Observation Deck
The tour will end high in the mountains. From above, you will see winding coastlines, rocks shimmering in different shades, and the picturesque sea. Before you, like on the palm of your hand, will lie the ancient city with its shipyards and fortress walls, sandy beaches, and coves nestled in the mountains.
Starting your vacation in Alania with the right information and positive impressions, you are guaranteed to have an unforgettable holiday.
