Day 1

Depart from hotels around 3:00 AM for the long but rewarding journey to Cappadocia. A breakfast stop along the way offers fresh local dishes to start the day.

Visit Uchisar Castle, a towering rock formation used as a refuge since Hittite times and later as a caravan route stronghold. The summit provides sweeping views across the region. Lunch follows at a local restaurant in Uchisar.

Explore the Göreme Open Air Museum, where rock-cut churches with ancient frescoes reflect early Christian life. Nearby, Monks Valley features striking volcanic formations tied to monastic history. Continue to Love Valley and the Fairy Chimneys Valley, both known for their unique erosion-shaped pillars.

A short photo stop at the Red River (Kizilirmak) precedes a visit to an Underground City—an intricate shelter network once home to thousands. The day ends with a pottery workshop demonstration before hotel check-in.

Day 2

Morning offers an optional hot air balloon flight over the valleys at sunrise, or a panoramic viewpoint for ground-level photography.

Visit Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley), known for camel-like rock formations. Then stop at the Caravanserai in Aksaray, a restored Silk Road inn. Lunch is served in Konya, a city tied to Mevlana Rumi and Whirling Dervish traditions.
