Bud ride was air conditioned on bottom and has audio giving information on landmarks. Up too can get a bit hot in the sun but the views are nice. Buses come every 15 minutes or so. Catamaran trip is ok. Views are nice but it is quite short (1 hour). The bus stop for Parc Guell is a bit of a hike so wear comfy shoes.

A great way to get an overview of Barcelona, and if you time it right, drop you off and pick you up at the key sites that you want to visit. Many of the things you'd want to see (Casa Battlo, Sagrada Familia require tickets with specific times. You should purchase purchase prior to visiting.

We took the 48 hour pass, and did the 2 different routes on 2 separate days. The routes are perfect, taking you exactly where you want to go, to see all the attractions of Barcelona, and you can get off to see things, and go back on when you want. It's the best way to see a city as far as I'm concerned. Some of the speakers don't always work, and you have to fiddle around with your earphones, but on the whole or was fine

Really helpful regarding information on each route, the earphones supplied are brilliant for the tour information on each stop (attractions). The jump on and off is great to have the time to visit certain attraction’s at your own pace! Highly recommend for sight seeing and finding out the history of Barcelona

It was good overall , but compared to the one I rode in Paris, the narrated content was not as good. The content should be expanded with more information and be better timed to when we are actually approaching the locations being explained. Also, there should be clearer documentation of how to get to the locations from the busstops. At Park Guell, we struggled to find the park, and then when we left the park from a different gate, it took us a long time to find the bus stop.

Positive: Definitely pays off, you get a good overview of the city, the bus intervals are also good, you don't have to wait very long. The station at Park Guell is not easy to find if you don't already have a map of the routes and stops. (was the first stop for us, came by taxi to Park Guell). You get the plan on the bus. Negative: The app's e-vouchers are exchanged for paper tickets the first time you board, I don't understand the point because I'm more likely to lose the paper than my cell phone. If you lose your paper ticket, you have to buy a new one.

Very good option to see Barcelona in 1 day. We did both routes. They give you headphones and you listen to data from the places you see. The waiting music was too much for us, but hey. You can get off at any stop and take the next bus that passes. There is always room even upstairs.

The map & audio are very easy to follow & understand. We did another company's HOHO in Lisbon and it was impossible to figure out where we were (we would have easily chosen the City Sightseeing company instead, but we didn't choose this other company!) This was something I didn't know to appreciate until I went to Lisbon & that HOHO was so hard to figure out.

The bus is a great way to see a lot of sights that you might not intentionally visit due to time limitations. Barcelona turned out to be much bigger than I expected and has a lot to offer of interesting sights. The bus passes those sites and allows time for short visit. The bus was frequent and sometimes crowded. Be patient.

I bought the 2 day pass, but could've got away with just the one day as everything is quite close proximity. I mainly bought it for Park Guell/Mount Tibidabo as they seemed the furthest away from everything. However, for both of these places, the stop doesn't stop by/outside the attraction. Tibidabo you have to walk for a minute or so then get a 10 minute bus ride. Park Guell, you have to walk up a very steep hill. In fairness, the streets surrounding here are very narrow and probably not suitable for a double decker bus. It would be better if the bus ran later than 7pm. We had a 50 minute walk back to our hotel, aftet visiting the Montjuic area. Overall, would recommend.
