Details

Take a comprehensive tour of the Sagrada Familia and Parc Güell to see two of Barcelona's most famous landmarks.

Begin your tour at the 19th-century extension of the L'Eixample known as the Sagrada Familia, where you can take in the striking facades of Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece. Go inside the basilica to take in the view of the impressive spires.

Learn about the history and significance of the depictions of the Holy Family as an expression of Christian ideology on the elaborate Nativity and Passion façades and see models of how the cathedral would look when it is finished, as imagined by Gaudi.

The next stop is Parc Güell Park on Carmel Hill in the north of the city, where you can take in some of Antoni Gaudi's most impressive creations.

Admire the park's main attractions' Art Nouveau (Modernisme) motifs, like the mosaic tiles of the salamander statue "El Drac" at the park entrance.

After that, you'll have an hour and a half to yourself, so you can eat lunch.

The places are fantastic, the guide has a lot of knowledge of Gaudí and his works, but it does seem to me that they are very MESSY in terms of the meeting points, in the first place they NEVER carry any flag to the meeting, and worse still, after locating the guide and meet in a few minutes on the sidewalk in front, they went directly to the door and I didn't see them approach, I looked for my guide and I didn't see her. Then I had to ask another person if he knew where it was, until I recognized someone from the group that I had already seen and on the other hand, this other person told me that the guide would be inside managing the entrance of the group. But the way is NOT GOOD at all, and even less so that I had to worry about gathering information that does not correspond.

First, these are two ‘must see’ places in Barcelona…but be ready for BIG crowds. As with many other reviews, we had problems finding our tour guide - the meeting point is by the subway exit but the guides do not have flags. Look for guides wearing name tags…but most importantly, note the name of the ‘Tour provider’ at the top of the page…ours was Amigo…I finally saw a tiny lady holding the small sign in her hands. Very knowledgeable tour guides but their Spanish accents might be difficult for some. Also, pay attention to the title at the top of the page…this tour did not include the tower as we had hoped (we paid 10Euros and barely made the last ride up at 11am). The tower is not all it’s made out to be. You get to see the city from numerous points, way up high, but they are tiny rooms with small caged windows. There are 400 stairs to go down…very small, winding stairwell. I highly recommend you arrange for transportation to Parc Guell. It is too far to walk(2.7 km)…all uphill!

This is an AMAZING EXPERIENCE! La Sagrada is absolutely breathtaking, words can describe the painting with light Gaudi did! And Parc Guell is a must too! Only thing is it would have been nice to have an extra few minutes in the church. Cant wait to see it when it is done!!

This was a good tour, but it was very busy! Meaning that a group of 60 people showed up and then we were split into 2 groups of 30. I just would've expected for the price that the group element of the tour would be a bit smaller than that. If a big group isn't an issue for you though the tour guide was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly man who could answer any question you had.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a very good English speaker, easy to understand. The only downside, if there was one, it was supposed to be an English only tour and the tour guide spent 50% percent of her time speaking in Spanish for people in the tour that were not comfortable speaking English. I understand that I am in a foreign country, but this was advertised as English tour and I think she could have spent more time explaining things about the sites we visited if she didn't have to do the commentary in 2 languages. Thank you for the great experience.
