Details

Step into the past on a 2-hour guided walking tour through medieval Bruges, led by a certified local guide who shares the city’s history, legends, and lesser-known stories in a clear and engaging way.

Wander through cobbled streets and alongside peaceful canals as Bruges reveals its layered past. Along the route, enjoy a stop at a respected local chocolatier, where you’ll taste a handcrafted Belgian praline—a small but essential part of the Bruges experience.

The walk introduces several of the city’s most recognizable and atmospheric sites, including Market Square, known for its lively setting, the Belfry of Bruges, and Burg Square, the city’s historic core.

You’ll also pass Gruuthuse Palace, the Church of Our Lady, and St John’s Hospital, one of the oldest hospitals in Europe. The route continues through Walplein near the De Halve Maan Brewery, the narrow Stoofstraatje, Katelijnestraat, the Boniface Bridge, and the Groeninge Museum.

Enjoy scenic stretches along the Dijver and the well-known Rozenhoedkaai, as well as Huidenvettersplein, lined with cozy restaurants, and the Fish Market.

After the walking portion, take part in a 35-minute canal boat cruise, included in the tour price. Seats are pre-reserved, allowing you to relax and see Bruges from the water with minimal waiting time.

As a final touch, you’ll receive a QR code granting access to a carefully curated online guide with over 60 local recommendations.
