Details

Immerse yourself in the story of Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure behind Count Dracula, on a full-day Transylvania tour. Visit several of the region’s notable castles and experience the city of Brasov.

The tour begins with pickup from designated points in Bucharest, followed by a scenic drive toward the Valahia region. Stop at Peles Castle in Sinaia, often called the Pearl of the Carpathians, and admire its architecture set against the mountain backdrop.

Continue through the Carpathian mountains to Bran, where you will explore Bran Castle, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle. Learn about the legend of the infamous Count and the stories that shaped the region’s folklore.

The tour concludes in Brasov, in the heart of Transylvania. Take a walking tour of the historical center, seeing landmarks such as the Gothic Biserica Neagră and the medieval Catherine's Gate, the last remaining part of the city’s original defensive walls.

• Please note that entrance tickets are not included in the tour price. We recommend purchasing them in advance, as they tend to sell out quickly.
⁠• ⁠For Peleș Castle, please select the time slot starting between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM
• For Bran (Dracula’s) Castle, no specific time slot is required.
• Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays and can only be visited from the outside on these days
• During official holidays and weekends, traffic to the mountain area might be heavier than usual and the return time may be later than scheduled
• Bran Castle can sometimes be the last stop instead of Brasov to better optimize the experience, depending on factors like traffic conditions and closing hours
• What to bring: Comfortable clothes, Cash
• Not allowed: Food and drinks in the vehicle

The trip was really great. The bus collection was well organised and they kept us updated during the ride where we were going, how long it would take and had stops for toilet/snack break. Our tour guide Lucian was very friendly and made the trip so much more fun, with his jokes☺️ we really enjoyed it! He also helped us buy tickets at each castle 👍🏼 10/10 recommend!

Lucien was our guide.He's funny, informative.We enjoyed our day trip very much, the weather was fantastic that day, lots of sunshine. Peles castle is under restoration so there's a lot of scaffolding on the outside.The castle was closed on a Tuesday so we only viewed from the outside, we knew beforehand. Dracula castle was over hyped and touristy. We enjoyed the town of Brasov the most. Delicious Italian meal we had and shopping too.
