The itinerary combines cultural landmarks with time to explore at your own pace.

Visit Bran Castle, often referred to as Dracula’s Castle, and learn about the Gothic legends connected to Vlad Dracul.

Continue to Peleș Castle, one of Europe’s best-preserved royal residences, where you can follow in the footsteps of Romanian royalty and admire its refined architecture.

The tour also includes free time in Brașov, a charming medieval town where you can stroll through the streets and enjoy time for dining and exploration.

• Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays all year round. If your tour is booked within this time period when is closed you will see Peles Castle from the outside.
• Children under 7-year-old cannot attend shared tours.

"Both castles were exceptional as was the Transylvanian scenery in general. Host was very knowledgeable and managed a group of 40 people and their needs very well. Only minor issue was visiting Brasov when there was a massive musical festival on and couldn’t really see or do much . It would have been better to ask the group whether they wanted to do this effectively added another 3 hours to an already long day (0715 to 2200). Other than that was a great trip. "

It is a very long day (13 hours) due to the high volume of traffic in and out of Bucharest and in the Brasov area, but worth it to see the Carpathians and the castles.

Hands down one of the best tour guides I've ever had. Serban Riga made every part of the trip worth it, he was full of facts and local stories. Was more than happy to answer any questions and super accommodating and professional even when faced with difficult customers. The driver also deserves a shout out, managed tricky roads and traffic beautifully. Serban also was our personal guide inside the castles and brasov, was a exceptional touch in my opinion. Would book another tour without hesitation.
