It was really fun and our guide was very informative and enthusiastic. Unfortunately I don’t remember her name but thanks to her it was a memorable canal tour!

karl was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and the tour didn’t feel rushed at all, very informative and worth the money! was very cold but we knew what to expect as it is winter! free hot drink and blankets was a bonus that was very appreciated.

This was an excellent tour. This surpassed our expectations by far and really added to our experience of the city. It was a great balance of modern architecture and historic. The guide was very knowledgeable about all the sights along the canal and also general information about the city. We did this tour on our first day in Copenhagen, and that helped us figure out what we’d do on the rest of the trip. The guide gave us a lot of helpful information.

A fantastic tour with Maria, despite some very cold Danish weather. Blankets and heated seats were provided to make the tour comfortable. We would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour, also our guide answered lots of questions like what is the best to eat or where to go to have a good time etc. If you want to see the whole city in your view, and You are in Denmark the first time, definitely go!

Maria was wonderful and knowledgeable. It was a very windy and cold day - make sure you’re dressed up appropriately. Heated seats provided and blankets and hot beverage . A great way to see sights from a different view..

We had a pleasant time on the boat trip. The tour guide/captain shared a lot of interesting information. It was a bit chilly, but we were provided with blankets and hot tea. I would recommend it!

It’s a long way to walk from the cruise terminal. Taxis are not readily available. Book via your cruise line for transport

This was a fantastic trip! We originally booked our boat trip for the Saturday but due to cancellation, we rebooked for the Sunday (which worked in our favour because the weather was so much better.

it is worth every Kr but if you sit to the rear it can be difficult to hear the guide luckily we had the assistance of a History teacher from Jutland who wanted to practice his English

Lots of interesting views. We got a very different impression of Copenhagen than if you were just walking through the city centre.

"We turned up 15 mins early, only to be told we were leaving from a different spot which was 10 mins away. When we got there, despite talking to one of the staff, we had to wait in a queue. When we reached the front we were told our boat had gone. But Stromma put us on the 1-hour trip free, even though they said they had emailed Viator. And Viator gave a full refund the same day. The trip itself was lovely, & a great way to see the city from another perspective. Both companies provided excellent customer support for the error. Recommended! "

Very educational, our tour guide had a great sense of humor, 1hr 45 minutes of seeing all the harbors, major sights, variety of the old and new architectures, and of course, The Little Mermaid.

The tour was brilliant with a very knowledgeable and funny our guide. Gave us the opportunity to see parts of the city that we would never have had time to do, and was a funny, interesting history lesson at the same time.

Enjoyable and fun lots of interesting facts. I thought it was cancelled because it was raining our tour start @ 2pm but turned out to be nice. Sun came out and the boat has a roof and it was really memorable experience.

This tour was a great way to see Denmark in a unique way. Our favorite part was being able to get out and explore the island that you can only get to by boat that has served many purposes throughout the years. We also enjoyed being able to talk to other passengers and get to hear their stories. Matilda was a great captain and very knowledgeable. She made our experience very enjoyable.

I have been on a few canal tours but this was the best! I love the concept of social sailing. Our guide was awesome! We only had 2 other people on the boat with us, so we could ask lots of questions. He answered all of our questions and brought the history of Copenhagen to life.

Excellent boat tour. We elected to take the 3 hour trip and it’s well worth it our captain Joanna has a wealth of knowledge both local and international. .

This was a very enjoyable afternoon sailing the canals odlf Copenhagen and admiring the river life and landmarks. It was a relaxed afternoon chatting with other guests on board. The visit to the abandoned island fortress was very interesting. Mathilde was an excellent skipper.

Matilde was a great guide! And the guys at the Social Sailing van were very helpful- they even helped me charge my phone and give me excellent recommendations of where to have a drink and get dinner.

Matthias was a great tour guide. Helped me on and off the boat even. Would definitely book with these people again.

It is a way to kill time in Copenhagen. 3 hours seemed long. Some nice views from the canals, but nothing really special. Our captain Nico was energetic and knew a lot about the city. The social side of going around and introducing yourself didn't really seem to resonate with any of us. We all got off the boat and walked our separate ways as you'd expect.

Dress warm and get ready for a superb experience. Water is super calm so not bad for those unsure about boating. Well informed, casual captain showed us places other tours don’t go to. There’s a variety of beverages for purchase glogg, cocoa, beer. The boat is really cute outfitted with lanterns, blankets. Restroom break during one stop. 10/10 recommend, I think you’ll love it.

Wonderful way to see the city. We really enjoyed our tour of Copenhagen on boat. Sam was a great tour guide. Beautiful city and wonderful way to spend an afternoon. I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience with Mathilde even with the chilly damp weather! It was so great getting to know her and Copenhagen. Great way to explore the city. She’s so knowledgeable about the city’s history and architecture. Stayed warm with blankets and hot cocoa. Highly recommend!

What a great afternoon we had with Matteus. He was not only knowledgeable about all we were seeing but an incredible facilitator for the social aspect of the tour. The concept of sharing your personal stories is unique and we all learned a lot from each other. Would highly recommend this experience if you’re in Copenhagen and highly recommend the 3 hour tour.

I really liked this boat tour. The guide was knowledgeable with a fun sense of humour. Although a bit difficult to understand at times with how fast he spoke/mic quality. I had heard not to waste time walking to the mermaid. So this was the perfect way to see her and hear some fun facts. Beware though, I read it was heated and it is NOT. It’s a fully open boat lol. My fault for going in Jan but thought my toes would fall off

Lovely tour with a very friendly and entertaining guide! Boat was covered and heated and you could open the windows for a better view and picture taking.

Great tour! We went in December and it was cold, but there was a nice covered heated area to sit in. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer additional questions. Our kids (ages 11 and 7) had fun and learned a lot about Copenhagen. Even if your kids weren’t interested in the history, there’s lots to look at and you go under a lot of cool bridges.

Tony was an informative tour guide and very funny too! Me & my friend had a great time and laughed a lot! Would definitely recommend!

A great way to get an overview of the city. I go on these each time I come to a new city. The driver on the route I chose to take was extremely kind and helpful.

"The hop on hop off tour in Copenhagen was very good. we stopped at all the relevant locations. The drivers were all very nice and answered your questions. The only thing I would recommend would be for the buses to run every 20 minutes instead of every 30 minutes."

The bus was not efficient. Long waits on bus and when going whole circuit had to keep changing buses with long waits before resuming. Boat tour was interesting.

Great way to see the city. Loved the fact that we were able to take a canal cruise too. They even had a shuttle from the cruise port to the city center. This was just what we needed.

Very convenient. I got on at a stop near my hotel and went to three different locations then during the day.

This is the first time we ever used the hop on & off type bus. Super easy and you get free ear buds with an audio guide. I think you could choose from 8 languages. We probably took the ride 4 times in one day and still learned something new each time. You have to watch as I think there are 3 companies and all of them look like the same bus but just watch for your company and hop on. All the drivers were friendly and helpful.

Excellent way to see city. Popular stops (eg Nyhavn) can be a little bit busy and waiting for next bus may be required. Be aware there is another hop on/off provider.

Very informative, efficient service, great views and the canal cruise was great. We saw amazing buildings and thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

We really enjoyed our trip. Our guide, Tis, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The activity was 2 hours and the time flew by. Would definitely recommend!

The guides, Capt. Rasmus & First Mate Elias, were really awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, helpful navigating the old stairs at our stop at the old Fort (very kind). The sights were amazing & the beer on board was terrific. Fantastic way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Nicolai, was exceptional. He is knowledgeable, well educated, articulate and has the social skills to draw the shy guests into the conversation. He took us to walk around the German camp from WWII many people from CPH haven’t visited. We went around the harbor to see the latest in architecture and down the canals to hear tales of the Kings Fredericks and Christians from 400 years ago and current stories of the boats moored. It was fascinating to learn how the modern Danes are recycling garbage into electricity and managing codes to adapt old buildings to current uses. It was a fun and informative 3 hour tour that exceeded our expectations.

Great tour, our guide Jonas was really friendly and knowledgable. We were a bit nervous about the social sailing aspect, but it really made the tour more interesting to learn about the others on the boat. Perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

This was a brilliant tour, we were lucky as a group of 7 to fill the whole boat so it was great value for money. However even if there’s less people book the tour with the captain. Maria was lovely, so friendly and easy to chat to. A little bit of history and information, I’m sure she could have given us more info, but we were more interested in the general lifestyle of the city. A real highlight of our trip

A really nice way to get to know the city and its history. It's more private than the big boats, and with a guide, you can relax and enjoy it more than if you were driving yourself.

Maria was very flexible in helping us with our experience, she saw that it was planned to rain and was willing to start our journey earlier to stay in the sunshine which was greatly appreciated. From there she showed us all the sights from the water and even taught us some Danish words. She even mentioned we happened to be traveling during the summer solstice event of Sankt Hans Aften and pointed out places on tour where we could watch the bonfire festivities. It was a great way to start our trip and gave us a feel for the city and understand the life of the locals!

We did this tour on our first day in Copenhagen and it was a great way to see what the city has to offer to plan the rest of the trip. Our guide Maria was a wonderful host and everything she recommended was amazing! Very very nice experience.

The boat ride with Maria was so enjoyable. She navigated us through the canals while pointing out sites and sharing interesting information about them. We were glad we did not take the the other crowded canal boat rides. It was memorable ride thanks to Maria.

We loved our private canal tour on Maria's beautiful mahogany boat. She was very knowledgeable of Copenhagen having grown up and lived there all her life. We loved seeing the city sites from the water and hearing Maria's knowledge of the sites. I highly recommend this experience. Great time and great company!

My favorite thing we did in Copenhagen was take a boat ride with Maria. We had the boat all to ourselves. Definitely worth it. Book at least a week in advance.

Great tour - our guide Jakob was really passionate about history so we learned a lot about Copenhagen and its buildings. Beautiful place to visit - we were only there for the weekend so the walking tour and boat ride were a great way of seeing some of the city.

Due to road conditions, we needed to take the plan B or C. We didn’t get to do the ferry so we couldn’t visit the Little Mermaid statue within the allocated timeframe. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable but we were disappointed because we didn’t get what we expected unfortunately.

A really nice sample of the city with some history in there too. I didn't have time to plan this trip, so this tour made me feel like I got a really good overview of Copenhagen. A few breaks are built into the itinerary. Don't worry, it was great.

It was a very well-organized tour of the city, which covered most of the tourist attractions in the city in a reasonable time frame.

Loved the Hop On Hop Off in Copenhagen. Great way to see the city highlights. Highly recommend the Redline first.

This was our second Hop On Hop Off tour and there were some lessons learned from the first one that made this one so much more enjoyable. We went in the upper deck which made it much easier to see the sites and to photograph them.

It is the perfect way to visit sites at your own pace and super easy and convenient. Buses are easy to spot and arrive every 20 minutes or so.

Exactly like other cities' Hop on and off buses. The buses were always on time and audio always worked well. Had all the major places of interest. And we lucked out that our hotel was literally across the street from one of their stops so it was way cheaper than taxis or Ubers!

Easy to figure out once you find a stop. Need to advertise exact hours. Even though it is available for 24 hours, doesn’t start until 10am and stops at 6pm

We love jumping on especially when we arrive in different cities - usually too early to check in so we drop bags and sit on bus for hours getting acquainted with a new place - very relaxing after an overnight flight.

I loved that there were shuttles at the cruise port to pick us up…. So easy and stress free!. The information was awesome and the driver did a good job maneuvering the traffic

Highly recommend doing the hop on hop off bus it gives you a small glimpse of the great city of Copenhagen and the popular tourist attractions.

The City Sightseeing Buses of Copenhagen were on time at the stations for the three routes.I enjoyed riding and sightseeing on the red,purple and green line.

It would have helped if Viator website said to look for a sign that said "Sightseeing" these signs are where you wait for bus. To say it stops by a castle/SMK does not help. Since foreighnerdms would not know an acronym. Needs to be more specific. We lost an hour of asking many people where the bus stops.

4 of us hired a Go Boat for hour. Very helpful guides showed us the routes and how to drive the boat. Gave us heated seat covers too. Very enjoyable, you can see a lot of landmark, an hour was enough for us, except we forgot to take a few beers.

Great idea for friends and family. The boat was spacious with a table in the middle to buy snacks. The staff did a great job explaining everything, and we all had a great time on the water. 2 hours was definitely enough time to explore the canals and I would recommend this to anyone who is going to Copenhagen.

Amalia is a very knowledgeable guide and a lovely person. The tour was interesting because you saw the city from a different perspective. We saw so much in two hours.

Maybrit (“Maybe”) was a fantastic tour guide and gave us brilliant tour of the city highlights. The local knowledge helped us see the hidden gems that we would not have found on our own. We would definitely recommend this tour for people on a tight schedule, looking to see the city in a morning. Maybe took away the stress of having to navigate to the individual spots and we saw a lot and were very happy.

Our tour guide, Sillas was excellent. We learned quite a bit of history and Danish culture on this tour. He has a wonderful sense of humor so it never felt dry. Highly recommend these sights and Sillas.

Sillas was fantastic. Just the right amount of history, subtle humor, direction to stay on schedule. Very personable and the 8.5 hour tour flew by. Very enjoyable experience.

Our guide Sillas was amazing and extremely knowledgeable about the history of the region. Was a real bonus being picked up from our hotel. This full day tour spent the perfect amount of time at each venue so the day went really quickly without feeling neither rushed or dragging on (although in fairness we did come in the middle of winter so maybe on a lovely summer day we might have appreciated more time outdoors). Travel time never exceeded 45 minutes between locations so the balance between travel and walking around the sites is bang on. The castles are incredible and well worth venturing out of the city to see, I think it would have been a shame to come all this way and not have seen them.

This was a great tour - full day but perfect way to pack in a bunch of “must see” sights outside of Copenhagen. Very nice door-to- door pick and drop-off from individual hotel. Small van. It is a tour with broad variety and great information. Our driver and guide, Sillas, was amazing: articulate, high-energy, and thoughtful. His enthusiasm and knowledge are remarkable!

Very enjoyable covering a lot of sights in copenhagen. A lot of walking to see the sight in town. Good guide with sense of humour (sorry cannot remember name but just returned from Greece)

We enjoyed this tour. We saw a lot of Copenhagen highlights and the tour guide and bus driver were very accommodating and we enjoyed learning about the city and the history. Only recommendation I'd make is for the tour guide to get a bigger sign for meeting us at the cruise port. She only had "Vexperio" on her cell phone she was holding up and we would have appreciated an easier/more visible sign to meet her. We eventually found her by asking other travellers who appeared to be gathering for a tour.

"The tour was excellent. Although we had a slight delay getting started bc of traffic, everything went as well as could be expected. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to give us some historical perspectives regarding the different sites we were visiting in Copenhagen. The bus was very luxurious and comfortable. The only recommendation I'd make is for the tour to be a bit longer as it seemed rushed at times, and we had very little free time to shop or explore on our own. Great day with Anders, despite the rainy weather. Saw the highlights of a very gorgeous city. I would pay extra to add time to the tour to give us more free time as it was rushed

We had a private 10 person tour with Paul and he was awesome. He was so knowledgeable, read the group and what we wanted to see. He worked around the crowds, took us to amazing sites and really made it a super fun tour. Our shuttle bus was right there to pick us up for each time we got off the bus. Paul was so fun, and maximized our tour with as much as we could fit in. At the end he dropped us intown where he walked us to his favorite eat spots, make sure we were set before leaving.... I would highly recommend this tour and Paul. He texted me when he was on the dock, and waiting for us. Thank you for the awesome tour Paul.

Very good overview of Copenhagen. Our guide was knowledgeable and informative and our driver also quite capable.

Andres was an excellent guide. His enthusiasm and vast knowledge made Copenhagen come alive. The private car let us proceed at our own pace which made the trip very enjoyable.

Our host, Anders, made the tour fun and informative. He was very flexible, adjusting the itinerary after asking us what things we had already seen. He went above and beyond, even buying us some Danish pastries to enjoy. The Mercedes van was very comfortable and the driver was excellent. We could not have asked for anything more. The price of the tour was a bargain considering the overall experience.

The tour operator met us at the cruise terminal. This was really valuable to us so we didn’t have to find any meeting place. The weather was bad but we had a great time touring the city and seeing the sights. Our tour guide Breit was wonderful answering questions and giving stories and information. One of the best tours of our trip.

Great 3 hour walking tour seeing the highlights of the city and learning some of the history. Our guide Jose was knowledgeable and fun and was very happy to show us around Copenhagen.

Alex was a fabulous guide-knew a lot of history of Copenhagen. Three hours was just enough - and the perfect ending was seeing the royal Guard do their daily performance. Saw quite a bit during the tour with great ideas for more to do afterwards. Thanks Alex!

Our guide, Daniele, did a great job showing us around Copenhagen! We saw all the highlights but I loved how he took us down smaller roads and alleyways and into smaller squares to get a less “tourist” vibe of the city. His commentary was very interesting. Would highly recommend.

In one hour covered a lot of territory. Good guide and information. Boat clean and on time and I preferred no cover as photos are better.

Alex was amazing. He is very knowledgeable about Copenhagen and its history. History mixed with humor makes the tour enjoyable. He gave us tips on where to eat, where to get traditional Danish food and pastries. You can tell He is very proud of his city and loves to share his personal experience from living here.

Our guide, Michelle, was outstanding! He was extremely knowledgeable and very warm and friendly with all of us. He made the three hours go by very comfortably and let us at a good pace through the city center.
