Dresden City Tour & Bastei Bridge from Prague

Your day begins with an early morning hotel pickup in Prague. Travel comfortably to the Northern Region in a fully equipped vehicle (about 1.5 hours), with onboard free Wi-Fi and helpful background information about the national park, the Czech countryside, and the day’s itinerary.
The first major stop is Saxon Switzerland National Park, where the Bastei Bridge and Neurathen area provide some of the most impressive views over the Elbe Canyon—one of Europe’s deepest sandstone gorges, surrounded by rugged natural scenery.
At Bastei, walk across the well-known sandstone bridge, enjoy multiple viewpoints above the river, and explore the ruins of the old Neurathen rock castle.
Next, stop in Pirna for lunch at a local German restaurant. Dietary needs such as vegetarian, vegan, allergies, or meat-based preferences can be accommodated, and the meal includes a main course and a drink of your choice.
The journey continues through Saxony to Dresden, a city known for its carefully rebuilt architecture and cultural heritage. Visit key historic sites such as the Zwinger and the Royal Palace, once the center of power for Saxon rulers. Please note that the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister is closed until February 28th, so the Royal Palace will be visited instead.
After the guided portion, enjoy free time in Dresden to explore on your own. During the Advent season, the itinerary may also include a visit to the Dresden Christmas Market.
In the evening, return to Prague with drop-off at your hotel—bringing back lasting memories and plenty of photos from the day.
