Blue Cave, Kotor, Lady of the Rocks

Discover the highlights of Boka Bay on a full-day cruise from Tivat, combining historic coastal towns, island landmarks, and scenic swimming stops. This journey offers a balanced mix of guided sightseeing and free time, with optional visits to the Blue Cave and the iconic Our Lady of the Rocks.

Details

The Boka Bay tour begins in the morning from the port of Tivat, where the ship Vesna V awaits passengers. Departure is scheduled for 10:00 AM.

After approximately 45 minutes of sailing, during which guests can view the luxury resort Porto Novi, the first stop is the port of Herceg Novi. Here, travelers enjoy 60 minutes of free time to explore the historic old town at their own pace.

The cruise then continues toward the open sea and Zanjice Beach. Along the way, the ship passes several Austro-Hungarian fortresses—Mamula, Osto, and Arza—which stand at the bay’s entrance. Upon docking at Zanjice, guests have 90 minutes of free time for swimming or, optionally, taking a small boat from the dock to visit the Blue Cave (additional cost applies).

Following the beach stop, the ship sails toward the artificial island Our Lady of the Rocks, a journey of about 90 minutes—an ideal period for lunch. Once there, visitors are given 40 minutes to explore the island and learn about its historical background.

After departing, the cruise continues past the town of Perast, with views and commentary from the ship, before heading to the historic city of Kotor. The tour then returns to Tivat, with an estimated arrival time of 19:30.

The trip was wonderful, organization at the maximum level from boarding, everything exactly to the minute and without delays. The boat is very large with deckchairs. I recommend the trip to everyone.

What an amazing experience. The places we stopped at were beautiful. It was a great chance to tick off some of the most iconic spots in Montenegro. The most underrated aspect of the trip was the cruise between all these places. The views were truly breathtaking! And don’t get me started on the boat staff - especially Luka. He provided us with everything we needed and was really nice. Overall I’d say the trip was very pleasant. I think it’s a must for all the tourists wanting to see as much as possible on their trip. I really recommend it, especially for this price.

The trip was good. My husband and I got to visit the other side of the island in less than 12hrs. We were really looking forward to seeing Blue Cave but because of the weather we had to divert. So happy with our guide as she explained everything in English as well. Thanks to Luka and the rest of team that made sure we were well taken care off.
