This boat tour from Budva combines coastal sightseeing with swimming stops at some of Montenegro’s most scenic spots. Cruise past historic walls and sandy beaches, explore the famous Blue Cave, and see the cliffside church of St. Nikole—all in one half-day excursion.

Details

Depart from Budva and cruise along the coast, passing the ancient walls of the old town. The route takes you past popular Mogren Beach and the iconic ballerina statue before reaching the Blue Cave, one of the largest and most impressive caves on the Luštica Peninsula in Boka Kotor. You’ll have 20 minutes to swim inside the cave and take in the vivid blue light reflected off the water.

Continuing onward, you’ll sail to the church of St. Nikole, perched on a cliff near the village of Krimovica. This small sanctuary is visible only from the sea, and you’ll have a 20-minute stop to admire its isolated setting and the surrounding views.

The journey then proceeds to Trsteno Beach, a sandy stretch nestled between two capes and one of the most attractive beaches along the Montenegrin coast. A 20-minute swimming break is offered here, and you’re welcome to use a diving mask to explore the turquoise waters up close.

On the return to Budva, the boat passes by Ploče and Jaz beaches, completing the loop back to the marina. This itinerary offers a balanced mix of sightseeing and swimming, with three designated stops for rest and exploration.

The boat trip was everything we wanted it to be - great views and lots of time for swimming in crystal clear water, and they provide masks so you can swim while looking at the fish. You also get to swim inside a cave, which was amazing. And 3 hours was a great amount of time - 1.5 hours wouldn’t have been enough. Highly recommended!

It was a very wonderful trip, we saw a lot in those three hours and had the opportunity to swim in two places, really 10/10. What else I really liked was the communication between captain Milan and his assistant Stefan, they were really cool men, we had a lot in common. Meet up location was exactly as shown on booking. The boat was beautiful! Guides we're very friendly and ensured everyone who wanted goggles, swimming floats or life vests got one (free of charge). Boat took us to some beautiful swimming locations. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
