Details

Depart from Lisbon's city centre on a fast rigid inflatable boat. The crew and a marine biologist provide a safety briefing and activity debrief so you can get the most out of the experience. The tour lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours.

Once out on the ocean, get to know the wildlife more closely and learn about the species of dolphins and seabirds with a specialist on board. Spend up to three hours venturing in the ocean to watch for dolphins, and you may find other marine species such as sea fish, sharks, jellyfish, or even sea turtles. The more species we find, the more exciting the activity will be.

We always ensure ocean conditions are safe and comfortable so you can enjoy the experience.

Before heading back, you will see beautiful monuments from the river, including the Monument to the Discoveries, the Jerónimos Monastery, and the Tower of Belém.

This activity can only be operated by boat companies certified and licensed to observe cetaceans in their natural habitat.

• The dolphins are wild animals, dolphin sightings cannot be guaranteed.
• If you easily get seasick, make sure to have a big breakfast but without milk, creams or yogurts.

The departure is in Doca de Santo Amaro, Gate 3. The dock under the big red bridge is the best reference point, where the boat is situated. The Alcântara neighbourhood is in front of the riverside.

Great morning, we saw the dolphins in just a few minutes! The guides are also attentive to the comfort of the dolphins and are careful not to stress them too much, we feel that they are passionate. We then moved away from the river and we could also see porpoises at sea.

It was an exciting adventure. It's fun to observe the sea and flying through waves on a fast boat. After quite a while, we found dolphins and interacted with them. It was more beautiful than I thought before. We took many good and close pictures of the dolphins. Well done to the captain at that point. An experience I can recommend to anybody.
