Montmartre

Dozens of cobblestone streets, sumptuous hidden mansions, Parisian cafés, charming terraces everywhere… No mistake you are in Montmartre ! You have probably heard of Montmartre as the residency of some famous painters of the 19th and 20th century, but it has also a great gastronomical heritage as cakes, chocolate candies, generous cheeses, cured meats and French wine! On the way, your local & foodie guide will take you to the breathtaking Clos des Vignes, which happens to be the only vineyard in Paris. He will walk you down these streets in order to introduce you to the best food artisans of the area, and also to share with you some unforgettable tastings at every stop. You'll feel like a little child while eating the sweet treats we've selected, while a glass of good wine paired with some fresh cheeses & cured meat will make you feel in the shoes of a real Parisian enjoying an apéritif with friends! Pierre was a wonderful tour guide. He had so much insight to share about Montmartre. It was clear that he took a lot of pride in “his neighborhood”. He chose each food stop carefully and was good to explain why. We got to experience the true nature of the neighborhood, support its local food artisans and learn about its rich history. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you, Pierre, for immersing us in Montmartre for the afternoon. It was a pleasure!

Julie was a fantastic guide for this tour - being a local herself, she was well-informed & made sure to keep things interesting for the group. Some classic french bites that you would expect, but also a few interesting ones that you might have otherwise overlooked. Plenty of insights & production information on food as well, which was very interesting.

"Our tour guide was Julie and she was absolutely fabulous - her passion for Monmartre, history and food really shined through. I enjoyed every minute both learning about this area of Paris and about her as well. We had a small group (5) which made it really nice to gather along the way and listen to all the details she had to offer. I felt like I learned so much. Some of the reivewers expected a full lunch and were disappointed so we ate breakfast early before our 11:30am tour. We had 7 stops along the way and though each stop was a small bite with one larger stop sitting inside a restaurant for a meat and cheese tray with wine, I was very full by the end and felt that it was just the right amount to have a tasting of many different sweet and savory things. This tour was a good value for the cost and I would highly recommend it. It was a lot of walking up the hill but with many stops along the way so not too challenging. Ask for Julie! "

We had a great time with Eliott! He was entertaining, knowledgeable of the area and we learned a lot. The food was incredible and now we know what type of restaurants to look for in the future to find authentic food.

Elliot was a great tour guide, very fun, energized, and informative. This was a very fun tour! You learn so much about the area as well as trying great snacks. We even stopped into a local restaurant for a cheese and wine tasting and learned all about the tastings from the restaurant owner himself!
