This 2-hour cruise on the Vltava River takes you through the historic centre of Prague, continuing via the Smíchov locks to the iconic Vyšehrad fortress, a site closely connected to early Czech history.

From your seat, enjoy views of the neo-Renaissance Rudolfinum, the distinctive skyline of Prague Castle, and the modern Dancing House. As the boat glides along the river, pass close to the pillars of the Charles Bridge, a structure with more than 600 years of history.

Upon boarding, you can pick up a printed cruise map to help identify key landmarks along the route. Guides are available in 16 languages, offering useful background information throughout the journey.

The cruise is suitable for individual travelers and families, with a choice of indoor or outdoor seating depending on weather conditions. Drinks and snacks are available for purchase at the onboard bar, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed and comfortable journey on the water.

• The boat is accessible for wheelchairs.
• This cruise is operated by different types of boats as shown in the pictures. The boats are rotating based on availability and operational circumstances.
• Due to the irregular traffic on the Vltava River and the limited capacity of the water locks and occasional shutdown the cruise route cannot be guaranteed but the duration of the cruise will not be affected.
• Not allowed: luggage or large bags, pets (except assistance dogs).
Expectation warning
You’ll enjoy it if you want a comfortable, slow-paced cruise and you’re genuinely curious about going through a river lock, even if that means the scenery comes in smaller bursts. You may not love it if you’re hoping for two full hours of continuous city views

be aware that you do have to wait a while and there is no commentary, which would make it more interesting. but if you enjoy spending a few hours floating along the river with a glass of wine, then its perfect.

The boat was fantastic. Good all-round visibility and attentive service on board. During the tour you have a good view of the Old Town and the castle. However, you lie in a lock for a relatively long time, so the sailing time is limited.
