Pilsen: Guided Gastronomic Trip of Old Town
Prague is only one part of the Czech Republic. Did you know that Pilsen has always served as the nation's regional hub for business, religion, education, sports, cuisine, and culture? In 2015, Pilsen was awarded the prestigious European Capital of Culture Award, which marked the culmination of everything.
Your tour will begin with a walking tour of the Old Town, allowing you to discover all of its treasures and tucked-away spots. Your tour guide will tell you about the city's history, culture, and people as you go. The St. Bartholomeus Cathedral, which has the highest spire in the Czech Republic, will be the next stop on the tour. After that, you'll get to see the world's third-largest synagogue and walk through a place where Czech history was written.
Your guide will take you to a local Czech pub where you can sample traditional Czech snacks and beer after the historic portion of your tour. As you learn about the country's long and illustrious culinary history, your guide will also talk to you about Czech eating habits and culture.
