The Devil's Channel is said to have been named after a devilish woman in the 19th century. Originally constructed as a millrace, it now separates Kampa Island from Malá Strana.

You can get a close-up look at the enigmatic Devil's Channel, see medieval houses that look like they are growing out of the water, and hear the mill wheel clatter like it was in the past. The boat ride was pleasant enough, with some interesting information from our guide along the way. The biggest disappointment however was the Devil’s Channel itself. From the title of the cruise, l thought this section would dominate the 45min timeframe. The reality was, that section took about 5 mins!
