The Devil's Channel is said to have been named after a devilish woman in the 19th century. Originally constructed as a millrace, it now separates Kampa Island from Malá Strana.

You can get a close-up look at the enigmatic Devil's Channel, see medieval houses that look like they are growing out of the water, and hear the mill wheel clatter like it was in the past. A Prague Vltava River cruise offers a unique opportunity to explore this fascinating part of the city and immerse yourself in its rich history and culture.

The cruise is available for individuals and small groups of up to 25 people. Excursion commentary is provided directly by the captain.

Expectation warning
You may be disappointed if you want a long cruise, a big “Venice of Prague” feeling, or lots of new sights beyond what you can see nearby. A short, intimate boat ride to the Devil’s Channel that’s best as a quick scenic break. The route is small and doesn’t go far, but a good live guide can make it feel worthwhile.
