The exhibit is placed into the oldest building of the castle complex, which dates back to the 13th century. It is furnished in the style of historical 19th century museum. The interiors are furnished with historical lights, restored Dutch stoves and replicas of old museum exhibition boxes. The exhibiton shows history of Krumlov castle and its owners. Each room is dedicated to certain topics such as armory, mint, duke´s guards, religious collection etc.
Together with the museum you can also enter the castle´s watch tower with a perfect 360 degrees viow of the town.

It is a uniquely preserved double convent from the 14th century, one of the oldest almost untouched medieval monuments in Krumlov. In the large complex of the Monastery of the Order of the Knights of the Cross with a Red Star you will see the 15th century cloister, chapels of black Madonna and St Wolfgang, baroque murals as well as church of the Holy body and Virgin Mary.

3. Local regional museum
Museum that focuses on the history of our town and region. There are different collections of arts, prehistoric tools, documents, imagery etc — all with conection to Krumlov. There is a permanent exhibition called „The Historic Presentation of the Cesky Krumlov Region from Prehistory to the End of the 19th century“. Definitely two most interesting things to see in the museum are a Baroque Pharmacy and a unique ceramic model of Český Krumlov in the 19th century.
