Prague in 2 Days Private Tour with Tereza
What to expect:
Left side of the Vltava River
Prague Castle (Pass By)The Prague Castle, listed as a UNESCO World’s Heritage Site, is undoubtedly a must-see attraction. Nowhere else in the world you will see so many different architectural styles in one district.
You will learn quite a bit about the history of the Castle throughout the centuries and its architecture, both hard facts and interesting bits of information like why throwing politicians out of the window seemed like a good idea several times in the Czech history.
St. Vitus Cathedral (Pass By)
We will admire the exteriors and interiors of St. Vitus Cathedral — a medieval gothic church from the 14th century.
Old Royal Palace (Pass By)
The original residence building, mostly wooden, was built at Prague Castle already at the turn of the 9th and 10th century. Expect impressive interiours and stories.
St. George's Basilica (Pass By)
The oldest surviving church building within Prague.
Golden Lane (Pass By)
Walk the famous Golden Lane and enjoy spectacular view over the city — have your camera ready!
Lesser Town (Pass By)
I will take you to my favourite part of Prague — the Little Quarter, full of beautiful churches, baroque palaces and lovely beer places, too.
Right side of the Vltava River
Charles Bridge (Pass By)
One of the most beautiful bridges in Europe connects the Old Town and Lesser Town (Malá Strana). Charles Bridge is on the top of every Prague visitor's must-see list. It is also popular with Czech artists, musicians and souvenir vendors whose stands line both sides of the bridge year-round.
Old Town Square
The most significant square of historical Prague. You will not only see all the majestic attractions this square has to offer, but also learn quite a bit about the Czech history throughout the centuries, both hard facts and interesting bits of information like why are all the old towers black and spiral staircases inside of them go always anti-clockwise, or why we are the least religious nation in the world.
Prague Jewish Quarter
Let me walk you through the Jewish Quarter “Josefov”, part of Prague’s UNESCO World Heritage Site and present you to its striking monuments and memorials, standing both as a tribute to Prague’s rich Jewish heritage and a grieving reminder of its tragic past.
Wenceslas Square
Located in the New Town which is not as "new" as the name suggests — it was founded in 1348. You'll learn quite a bit about the recent history of our country as well as about the present — how we live, what are habbits are, where are the differences and what we have in common.
