Prague: Kutná Hora, St Barbara's Cathedral and Bone Church
Visit Kutná Hora, a medieval silver mining center that was once the second-richest city in the Kingdom of Bohemia. The former wealth of the city is reflected in the variety of architectural monuments and in the preserved structure of the town center.
On the 7-hour trip to Kutná Hora you’ll enjoy a tour of St. Barbara’s Cathedral, and see a number of beautiful Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque townhouses and a stone fountain from the 15th century.
You’ll also visit the Sedlec Ossuary, one of the most interesting burial grounds in the world. This chapel is decorated with more than 40,000 human bones, some arranged into a chandelier, others into the Schwarzenberg Coat-of-Arms, and more.
Kutná Hora has been on UNESCO’s list of cultural heritage sites since 1995.
