Master Levon's Dungeon

The people call the dungeon "underground palace". This is one of the most interesting sights of Yerevan. The history of the construction of the dungeon dates back to Soviet times, when Levon's loving wife asks him to build a cellar in the house, which after 23 years turns into a real underground city. We will see an underground monument 20 meters deep and almost 300 square meters in area and make a wish in the "dream place" — according to legend, the wish is always fulfilled here.

Monument Cascade

The next point of our interesting excursion is the famous and majestic Cascade monument. The construction project was laid back in 1924 by the legendary architect A. Tamanyan. According to his plan, the monument was supposed to connect the north with the center for walking citizens. Work began in the 80s, but lasted for several years and was suspended due to the collapse of the USSR and the Karabakh war. Work was resumed again in 2002, by the American patron of Armenian origin Gerard Gefeschyan, who bought the project and started the work. Since 2009, the Museum of Art named after Gefesjian has been operating inside.

Cooking lavash

I will organize for you an unforgettable master class on cooking the world-famous Armenian lavash, which was included in the UNESCO list in 2014. In a cozy restaurant, in the company of a chef who will tell you stories and interesting facts about Armenian lavash, you will cook one of the main elements of any Armenian colorful feast in the traditional tandoor.

Saint Sargis Church

We will see one of the most ancient churches in Yerevan, built in 1842. Saint Sargis is considered the patron saint of lovers in Armenia. Since 2007, at the end of January or the beginning of February, Armenia has been celebrating its Valentine's Day, St. Sargis Day, and according to tradition, young girls eat salty cakes at night and do not drink water in order to see their future betrothed in a dream.
