Step aboard a modern canal boat and set off on a relaxed journey through the heart of Amsterdam. As you sail past elegant 17th-century houses and arched bridges, your audioguide brings the city’s history and culture to life with stories of the people and places that shaped it.

Glide along the central canals and spot landmarks such as the Magere Brug (Skinny Bridge), the Anne Frank House, and the soaring tower of the Westerkerk. Photograph the graceful merchant houses reflected in the water and watch daily life unfold along the lively quays.

Throughout the cruise, the audioguide shares fascinating details about Amsterdam’s trading past, its artistic heritage, and the neighborhoods that make the city so distinctive. The calm pace of the journey gives you time to relax, enjoy the views, and see the city from a fresh perspective.

Guide was very funny. It was great learning about all the history of Amsterdam. Definitely recommend doing this. This was the second time I’ve been to Amsterdam and the second time I’ve done a tour with this same company. Definitely recommend.

The canal tour itself was fine. We were a little annoyed that the audio guide and the captain explained things at the same time. You couldn't hear both at the same time. The audio guide didn't really fit the tour either. Sometimes things were explained that you didn't see at all because you had already passed by or they came much later than announced or we had to take a different route because of the heavy traffic. We can't recommend the tour in rain or drizzle. The windows had to stay closed and the drops made it pretty difficult to see out. Next time we would like to do a canal tour in good weather and in one of the older canal boats.

They were very punctual and with the highway in Spanish we sailed through the three main canals of Amsterdam, seeing everything very comfortably from the boat and sheltering from the rain. Highly recommended

Our boat trip with Captain Dimitrov, Stijn, and Willem was pure joy from start to finish! I haven’t laughed this much in years - honestly, I’m counting it as my daily ab workout. These three aren’t just great sailors, they’re top-class entertainers who definitely deserve a raise. We’ll be back for sure… partly for the views, but mostly for the jokes!
