Tours & Excursions in Amsterdam

I booked a night-time tour to see the Light Festival on a boat. We started at around 7:30 and saw parts of the festival. That night there were multiple protests going on in Amsterdam and one of the groups closed bridge, causing all boats to be stuck along the festival route (screenshot). Nevertheless, Captain Din (sorry if I got the spelling wrong) detoured and still gave us a wonderful tour of Amsterdam at night. I loved it, the city is very beautiful at night and it's great to experience it on a boat. Our captain gave us a lot of fun historical facts about the city as we were passing different monuments and cites. Our host, Melissa (sorry if I got the name wrong) provided us blankets and hot chocolate which was nice in the chilly weather. The boat was not too big and not too small, and only a few people were onboard, which I absolutely prefer compared to a big cramped boat where all you hear is people being loud. I loved the tour and it was one of the highlights of my trip. I absolutely recommend it and would do it again if I visited Amsterdam again.

Really good guide and lovely boat. Snacks were nice Got to enjoy Amsterdam from a different view. Would definitely recommend if not done it before. There were blankets and cushions and seats were comfortable. The description mentions toilets on board but there isn't one, so make sure youve gone beforehand!!

Shorter than expected but guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Booked thinking it would be only for 2 of us, which given the price seemed reasonable. Surprised then to be sharing tour with a group.

We enjoyed a dinner cruise along Amsterdam’s canals with delicious, fresh food straight from the restaurant. The captain was friendly and shared insights about the city’s highlights, and since it was during the Light Festival, we got to experience the stunning illuminated canals as well.

I really enjoyed it and we were very lucky with our guide. He told exciting stories and you learned a lot about Amsterdam and got a good impression.

Everything was great! Food was lovely and you get a lot off it. Great team and service! 😊

Lovely guide from Oklahoma, in depth knowledge of the area. Got to meet some really cool people from different countries while on board which made the experience that much better.

Wonderful day. Tony, our tour guide, made the experience memorable and fun, filled with interesting information about Brussels, Brugge, the history of Belgium and the Netherlands sprinkled with humor and good fun. The places are really amazing, but the time is short to apreciate both places. We were in a hurry. you should make a day for each place.

It was very nice and really chilled :) I would have loved to do it twice in a row.

The bike ride is a lot of fun but a bit stressful because the traffic in many parts of the city is chaotic, and if you are not used to foot brakes it is a bit unnerving. I suggest the use of bikes with brakes on the handlebars ... Our guide Scarlett, however, was very good and nice

The boat was basic and cosy but Philippa and Andre made it beautiful. The cheerful atmosphere and the drinks kept coming… the light festival itself is a disappointment… thanks to Andre and Philippa for making everything happy and memorable… definitely recommend them…

Went to the city on my own. Very good first thing to do as i got to have a look around.

A smooth and enjoyable experience overall. The canal cruise was calm and comfortable, and the digital walking tour gave us freedom to explore Noord in our own rhythm.

A wonderful, romantic dinner. We ate very well and drank unlimited good CHARDONNAY wine. The crew on board took great care. We shared our table with another couple so a little less intimate but we had the place next to the windows and were able to admire the view. We have very good memories of it. We recommend 100%

Very convenient hotel pick up and drop off, very personable guide and small group, guide was prepared for the bit of rain we experienced. Guide had lots of tips for our overall trip.
