Tours & Excursions in Amsterdam

This was one of our favourite experiences the whole holiday. Well worth the price and so much fun! They had loads of toppings to put on our fresh pancakes and we gorged ourselves, the view was also really pretty.

from checking our tickets to boarding and the tour itself, Elzo and Ilja were full of stories about the history of Amsterdam and never failed to make us laugh and enjoy the scenery. we had so much fun touring the canal and seeing the city.

We enjoyed the cruise very much. Two hours felt far too short, as Captain Erik’s stories were so engaging that we hardly had enough time to take in the beautiful views of the canals. There was a nice selection of snacks and drinks, making it easy to relax. The small group size also created a warm and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!

Well organized and driven in clean, air-conditioned bus to beautiful tulip fields and then to the unbelievable, beautiful Keukenhof gardens.

Rolf is well studied in Van Gogh’s life, works and techniques. He speaks perfect English (having lived in NYC), and was able to quickly gauge our group’s intersest and tailor our visit accordingly. This is a very busy museum, particularly in the Summer, and having a guide like Rolf to manage your time, focusing on the interesting and important pieces was invaluable. Highly recommend!

Nice little activity to do when in Amsterdam. Doesn’t take long and you’d get really photos for keepsake.

This ticket was worth the cost. The museum was wonderful but very crowded as it was a holiday. We were able to enter immediately. The canal cruise was better than expected. The head phones allowed passengers to be informed. The boat was full and the canals busy be at of the holiday.

The experience is well worth the money, it was by far one of the best brewery experiences I have had. I just wish there was some food at the end to go with the beer as our tour was first thing in the morning and we didn't have time to eat before hand.

Staff really attentive, great drinks and lots of food options - would definitely recommend.

Very good guide and very pretty village. No wonder they got voted top xxx village in Europe. Not enough time to wander too far though after the boat ride pity.

Alex provided a fantastic tour of some of the more unique spots around Amsterdam. I was surprised at the variety of locations, his historical knowledge, and the variety of things to do during the tour. His humor and pacing throughout the day kept the tour fun and lively, and the the tour was a good mixture of free time and guided as we traveled. I would highly recommend to anyone who's interested in the history of the Netherlands outside of Amsterdam, you'll learn to appreciate the history that isn't always taught but it's still relevance to the country.

Super friendly staff, pizza was nice, could have done with the option of sauces to go with it. The staff were attentive, plenty of drink available, although make sure you ask otherwise you may go without a top up. The ice cream was a nice touch. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for more of a chilled vibe, rather than a guided tour!

Rolf gave us a wonderful highlights tour. He was knowledgeable, and his enthusiasm for the subject was contagious.

The canal tour was very successful. There were enough drinks on site. However, it was a mixed plate with snacks and not three Bitterballen per person, which was not agreed. The boat was 15 minutes late, but we were informed about this. A photo of the jetty for better orientation would have been nice and would have made things easier. The driver was probably already looking forward to the end of the day.
