Details

Make your way to the meeting point near Amsterdam Central Station, where you’ll meet your guide and board a comfortable coach for the journey into the Dutch countryside. As you travel toward Lisse, enjoy views of flower-filled fields typical of the bulb-growing region.

Your first stop is Keukenhof Gardens, where you’ll have time to explore the park’s beautifully designed landscapes, seasonal flower displays, and themed gardens. Stroll among millions of blooming tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths, and learn about the history and horticulture behind one of the world’s most celebrated gardens.

After Keukenhof, continue to Zaanse Schans, a well-preserved open-air heritage village known for its working windmills and traditional wooden houses. Visit a local cheese farm to learn how Dutch cheese is made and enjoy a tasting. Watch a live clog-making demonstration and discover the craftsmanship behind these iconic wooden shoes. You’ll also have time to walk around the windmills and take photos of the scenic surroundings.

The tour returns to Amsterdam in the late afternoon. If you’ve selected the optional upgrade, you can end your day with a relaxing 1-hour Amsterdam canal cruise, offering a different perspective on the city’s historic waterways.
