In principle very cool to get a quick overview of Amsterdam, unfortunately compared to other cities there is little information about the audio guide - you get more information through guided tours.

Whatever city I find myself in, this activity is a must! Let’s you see all the city has to offer and you can hop on and off at any of the stops all day long. Perfect if you need a rest from all the walking that a city break usually involves.

Great experience on the hop-on/hop-off bus, and on the one-hour boat tour. The city itself is not that clean, but the sites that we enjoyed on the bus / boat were wonderful.

There were a lot of duplications between the tour guide hop-on/hop-off bus and the boat. The text was basically in a continuous loop and information was very scarce.

Unfortunately, the stop where we wanted to get on wasn't marked, so we walked to the train station to get on at the "main stop". Apparently we could have just waited, but without a board or something we had no way of knowing.

After reading the reviews I booked only the boat option which provided already more than I could get through in one port day (as part of a cruise). The stops and boats were easy to locate especially with the app and the bright colours of the company logo. The boats provided an extensive overview of the major sites, a relaxing scenic ride through the canals, and a convenient way for me to travel between points of interests and back to the cruise terminal.
