Great tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable of Van Gogh. The whole tour was very interesting and we learned tons of facts about the artist. Definitely recommend doing this tour because you learn so much more than just walking around the museum by yourself.

We had a great guide in FANNIE, a trained art historian with profound knowledge, very communicative and speaking easy-to-understand English. We can recommend a tour with FANNIE without reservation.

Shorter than expected but guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Booked thinking it would be only for 2 of us, which given the price seemed reasonable. Surprised then to be sharing tour with a group.

Our guide was absolutely amazing. Her name was Funny. I learned a lot of new things about Van Gogh, his art and what he had to deal with. I highly recommend Funny as guide. Yes, it is expensive but worth it. After our tour we could spend alone time in the museum.

Instead of an audio guide and long queues at the museum (if there are any free time slots left), this is an expensive but good alternative. Friendly, committed art student with a lot of (background) knowledge. The ideal tour lasts a good 1.5 hours in a small, manageable group (international in English). Highly recommended.

Before you dismiss the idea of paying for a guide, in our experience it was worth every penny. Our guide, Mila, was excellent very knowledgeable and passionate about Van Gogh. She took us on a tour of the museum and told us all about the history behind the paintings as well as the family history of Van Gogh. It was worth every penny. At the end of the tour we were free to go back around the museum and revisit the highlights. Thanks Mila it was great to meet you.
