Good route to take on the 1st day of the visit to get to know the city and then decide where to go

Nice possibility to discover different parts of Berlin by bus as well as by boat. Perfect combo. If you speak several languages try to change language channels in the bus as you might get interesting facts not included in other language guide

I boarded the Yellow Line around 10h30. After 2 and half hours on the upper deck (the weather was very good) and one short stop at Gendarmenmarkt, I got off the bus without completing the tour and without taking the Boat Tour. I had a reservation later that afternoon to visit the Reichstag. I made the 1-hour Boat tour at my own expense on Friday, October 2nd, after completing my private tour of Scheuenviertel and Hackesche Höfe, not before I visited the exhibition of the Synagogue at Oranienburger Str. and having some late lunch.

We had chosen a bus and ship combination so far everything was good, what is difficult when changing to the ship is to find the right ship, as there are no signs.

Nice tour to the biggest sights of Berlin. You can get on/off at any time, bus stops are sometimes not immediately apparent and one bus driver was not so nice and verbally abused anyone who got up even 2 seconds too early... we had the 48-hour tour with a boat trip on the Spree , and we are happy to recommend this tour, as you get a nice overview of Berlin by bus and boat.
