As you continue, arrive in the historic district of Köpenick, where the well-known statue of the “Captain of Köpenick” stands in front of the town hall. Along the way, you will also pass notable landmarks such as Köpenick Palace, offering a glimpse into the area’s heritage.

The cruise then proceeds to Müggelsee, Berlin’s largest lake. From the water, take in views of the surrounding shoreline and spot the Müggelturm rising above the landscape, adding a distinctive feature to this peaceful lakeside setting.

This was an excellent trip along the Spree to Müggelsee with the option to explore one or more destinations along the way due to the flexible ticket. The facilities were good with a choice of outdoor or indoor seating including under an awning on the top deck which was welcome as the sun was shining all day. We enjoyed seeing the ingenious way the awning could be lowered to pass under bridges. The clear and informative commentary on the sights along the way was interesting and amusing. There were friendly and hardworking staff proving drinks and snacks from the bar and the iced coffee was delicious! We would definitely repeat the trip, and next time use the opportunity to stop and explore.

lovely afternoon on the spree towards mugelsee .. unfortunately the language guide was in german when I mistakenly booked it for english however i still enjoyed my time on the top deck under the shade.
