This 9‑hour tour from Budapest takes you to Lake Balaton, the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe.

Your journey includes a visit to the Tihany Peninsula, where you will see the abbey founded in 1055 — a landmark with deep historical roots in the region. After exploring the abbey grounds, you will have a lunch break and some free time to enjoy the lakeside atmosphere at your own pace.

The tour then continues to Balatonfüred, home to Hungary’s oldest spa. Here, you can walk along the town’s famous promenade, a classic lakeside walkway lined with historic villas and cafés. The experience also includes a boat ride on the lake, offering a different perspective of the shoreline and surrounding hills.

At the conclusion of the tour, you will return to Budapest.
