Details

Your guided bus tour begins in Budapest’s Castle District, where a short walking segment introduces you to the area’s key sights and offers striking panoramic views over the city.

From there, you will cross the Elizabeth Bridge and Margaret Bridge, with commentary on the history and engineering behind these notable river crossings. En route, you’ll see the exterior of Europe’s largest synagogue, then continue toward City Park.

Along the way, the tour passes Europe’s largest thermal spa and the Budapest Zoo, before stopping at Heroes’ Square, where statues of Hungary’s most significant kings and historical figures are on display. The route then follows Andrássy Avenue into downtown Pest, passing the Opera House and St. Stephen’s Basilica.

The tour concludes with a 1-hour guided interior visit to the Parliament building. Designed by Hungarian architect Imre Steindl and partly inspired by the Palace of Westminster, it ranks among the world’s largest parliament buildings. Inside, you will see the session hall, the ornate central staircase, the grand vaulted hall, and the cupola hall, which houses the Hungarian Crown Jewels, including the historic Holy Crown.
