This was fantastic and totally worth the money! My husband and I traveled to Rome, Florence and Venice in July 2018. We were on a budget and didn't want to bust the budget, so went with the "shared" gondola option and then splurged to have the serenade option. The experience was unforgettable and easily the best part of our whole trip! The singer and the man with the accordion had great chemistry and were constantly interacting w/ my husband and I. I thought the 20 mins sounded kinda short, but it ended up being the perfect amount of time. Do it at sunset around 7:30 if possible. Highly recommend this to all my family members and friends, it was simply enchanting and something my husband and I will never forget!
According to the ad we booked with this company as they offered 6 passengers. Fine only 5 but questioned. They were extremely rude and argued with us re our booking, paper vouchers and electronic proof of purchase. After an hour they realized we were not Leaving so put us in boats. 3 of us were with the musicians and had fun but the others couldn’t hear the music well as the gondolier was on his cell the whole time. Our gondolier was yelling at us when we were getting out. Take your chances
It started 10 m-minutes late, but there were also 10 minutes longer, sometimes you say two, sometimes four and sometimes six people in one gondola, more than ten gondolas went from the main canal to a side canal and then it went back there, the singers and the instrument players you could hear the gondola took turns so that everyone could enjoy it) was far away of course you couldn't bike that much so 50 percent music guarantee
We thought that we would have the gondola to ourselves, but we shared it with another couple, which wasn't a big deal. But the other couple rushed into the gondola to grab the nice seats closer to the gondolier, so we weren't able to take any pics there. Overall though, I would recommend, but just know that you'll be sharing the gondola ride with up to 5 people max.
Really special, the whole tour was among the Venetian canals and then flowed into the lagoon! Gondolier affable and skilled at his job, tour actually as described. Really great experience, definitely to be repeated.
Thoroughly enjoyed the experience . Especially the serenade . He had an amazing voice , we were very impressed with him . Shane he didn’t stop , we wanted to speak to him . But managed to tip him
I had seen a gondola with a singer a few days earlier and was very impressed with the performance. Now I was lucky that exactly this singer sang on our gondola ride. Thank you, it was beautiful
Brilliant value for money lovely chatty informative Gondolier who even gave us a song. Sailed around the tranquil side canals and the Grand Canal for half hour. Would highly recommend. 👍👏🏻
This is very nice activity! Man in gondola is very fun! I recommend you to experience this touar! Sharing a gondra is very fun because you can meet new friends on gondra!
We used this to book transfers from and to the airport it was easy .we booked a gondola aswell it took us to pick up point no hassle we will use this again thank you
Easy to book online and price for trip was very reasonable. Took waterbus along main canal and gondola through lagoon City - a great day out in Venice
Very well organized. Despite the fact that it was raining, it was possible to enjoy each stage, guided tour and gondola ride. The guide, excellent.
Barbara lived her comments, we feel that she loves her city. She was a great guide, she speaks with her Venetian heart and a lot of humor.
It was spectacular! The rowers maneuvered very skillfully through the small lagoons. The trip on the Canale Grande was also spectacular.
A really lovely experience going up the tiny canals and seeing all the little nooks and crannies of Venice. So very unique. Wonderful!!
The guide Elisabeth did an excellent job, with a lot of knowledge and humor. Thank you for that. The gondola ride wasn't that good.
Superb experience! Our guide was very informative and the little gondola ride was very enjoyable. Very good value for money!
We enjoyed our time in Venice and can’t wait to come back. We learned so much and we had a once in lifetime experience!
Enjoyable little gondola ride. The guide is very welcoming and the organization is very well thought out.
15minutes queuing before getting into Gondola but still got 30 minutes on the boat so it was good.
A truly worthwhile experience! Magnificent serenade with a very friendly singer and guitarist!
An activity to complete your experience in Venice. Not to be missed. You will not regret it.
Luckily we were in the same boat as the musicians and it was the best part of our Italy trip
The gondola ride could be a little longer But we really appreciated the guide
Mattia our very welcoming gondolier. Organized well with meeting point
It was not to long and enough informative!
I thought the trip was very good... it was quite bouncy and there was a long wait in the queue before boarding but the guys were brilliant at getting everyone on and off the boats. The trip itself wasn't very long, but the singer and the accordion were audible across all the gondolas and the journey through the grand canal followed by a number of smaller canals was very good. Everyone who heard the singing or accordion music was smiling and waving and even some danced by the side of the river - overall a very good vibe - feel good trip. Glad we did it.
You can't see Venice without gondolas. Gondola ride is an absolute must, unbelievable how they push the long boat through the canals with those sticks, without hitting anything. It's a pity that the gondolier didn't tell much and certainly didn't sing O sole mio. A little more enthusiasm there would have been great. And the chance to take a photo with your partner as you board
Unfortunately, it rained on the day the visit was scheduled. However, we were still able to take a gondola ride and it lasted 30 minutes as planned. We were less far than expected because of the weather, but the experience was worth it.
Easy to find place, the guide takes us to the gondola. There are a lot of people, you have to arrive early. Quite short gondola ride without any explanation about Venice.
Ist eigentlich super und sehr cool, nur dauert es 20 Minuten statt die angekündigten 30 und dafür ein bisschen teuer pro Nase. Lohnt sich aber anyway.
it's great with the serenade. the ride itself is extremely short. Roughly 20-25mins with a quick round from where you launch.
Overall very good. A bit chaotic when the guide was trying to organise a group of about 50 people onto the gondolas though.
It was very nice, but very short and we couldn't sit next to each other, which I found very unfortunate
Your was nice but no time for pictures. I stopped to take a picture and got lost for the last 25 mins.
Beautiful scenery, just a little short compared to the expected time
The gondola ride was nice and the time was kept.
