As horrific as the topic and horrors of Tersin are, Jacob, our guide, delivered the tour extremely professionaly and mindfully and even managed to slip in some appropriate humour (coming from a granddaughter of a holocaust survivors – that says much!), to ease the gloom a bit. Jacob is a fountain of knowledge, and happy to share it but he also constantly made sure everyone is with us and taken care of, all questions answered, all needs met from pictures time to toilet time and yet we kept the schedule and were back in time. I am a very critical person and yet I can think of nothing to offer Jacob could have done better, we found him to be professional and kind and the best person to deliver this highly sensitive tour at these challenging times. Thank you!
Our day trip to Český Krumlov was wonderful. I chose this tour for its intimate and easy going nature of not having to worry about the travel from Prague but also to gain some background information through someone who is local. Karolina is a force of nature! Informative, exhuberant and a joy. She made sure everyone on the tour were taken care of and enjoying ourselves. It was not as busy as summer peak months which meant the experience was more relaxed. Highly recommend doing a tour with them. We are also thankful for our driver Ivan, his driving was reliable and safe. I wish I had brought some physical money because they definitely deserved one. Poor planning on my part but I hope this glowing review is worth a partial bit!
3 hour tour with a very good guide, Steban. It was a slow paced tour, meaning we did many stops so I didn't feel tired so much from walking .It was very informative and we got a very good idea of the history of Prague .We visited the castle and the two churches (saint Vito and Saint George ).We saw the change of the soldiers guard at 12 which was quite interesting and beautiful .The view was breathtaking .Ended up at the street with little shops, very nice .What I loved most was the Saint George church that had a different feeling than anywhere else.I did not know about Saint Ludmila before ,but she is buried there and i believe you could feel her presence there (or holiness.)
Very happy I went on this tour. started with a bus transfer near the castle grounds from the city centre. Tour guide was able to give some a little bit of history about other significant buildings in Prague such as the oldest hospital. It was great to get a guided tour of the castle grounds as there is so much to see. Our tour guide was super informative and as we were in a small group he got to interact with all of us. We were able to see the change of guard with the music at 12pm which was nice. As I travelled in February doing a boat your is not ideal with the cold weather, but it does give you the opportunity to take some picturesque images of the city.
We loved this tour, it was informative and well organised. So many poignant facts but told sensitively and respectfully whilst not taking away from what the experience would have been for those that were here during the war. I would have liked a little more time in the museum in Terezin itself as there was a lot to take in, which was the feeling for most in our group. I liked that we had a small group and it was not over crowded as some other things in Prague have been. Would highly recommend to anyone with an interest in this area.
IF you are done sightseeing in Prague and have covered most of what you have planned in town, the tour to Cesky Krumlov is a good option to spend the day. Karolyna, our guide, was very knowledgeable and shared lots of historical information along the way, not only about the destination, but also of the country itself, which made the tour quite an enriching experience. Although Cesky Krumlov is such a small town, 3/4 hours on your own is not much depending on how you wish to explore it, specially if you stop for a lunch break.
Jana was superb as our guide. She delivered it excellently in both Spanish and English . Her knowledge on the subject matter was extensive and delivered sensitively . The history of the Fort goes back to the 1700s and then the creation of the walled garrison town which was cruelly exploited by the nazis in the creation of the Jewish ghetto. The fort was fascinating alongside the memorial, a very recommended tour on a a very dark moment in history. Must mention our friendly driver Tony, great job
The cruise with buffet dinner was great with a good selection of dishes to choose from eg cheeses & cold meats, salad greens and tomato, pasta, rice, a goulash and other hot dishes, chicken amongst others. Also a selection of desserts. One drink was included being a shot of vodka but also drinks for purchase at cheap prices. Everyone on board had a great time and it was lovely to see the city of Prague at night. This was great value for money and highly recommend
Outstanding tour. Many locations to visit including the museum and crematorium. While I had preconceived notions Emily concentration camps? Terezin was particularly interesting because it p my housed about 10% Jews with the rest resistance fighters and Nazi traitors. Just enough time to better understand the town of Terezin’s history and the support of the community during the war.
We spent well over the allotted time with Eva who guided us through the city to some amazing places & hidden gems . She was so knowledgeable, not only about the buildings & legends but in the history of the city , it’s religion’s & political shifts. I would Hugh recommend this tour and a special mention must go to Eva - who was fabulous
The small bus was very comfy with large windows so you could enjoy the time spent on the bus and see some of the country while in transit. Much better than a van! I thought the split of time with the guide and time on your own was perfect. The village itself was amazing and not to be missed when visiting Prague!
Lovely lady as our guide and driver was very helpful. Very informative tour. The entire 50 minute drive to Terezin is filled with a useful talk from the guide about the history of Prague, Terezin, the Czech Republic and both world wars. Excellent value for money and a must-do for any tourist visiting the city.
Tatiana was an amazing guide! Had so much knowledge to share and never rushed us. Deliberately took us into warm places for breaks! She didnt just talk AT us, either, she engaged with whoever had questions or things to add. Her personality really shone. Can't recommend her highly enough!
First, I want to point out the name is a bit misleading - Terezin was not a concentration camp, it was a Jewish Ghetto. Other than that, the trip was great. The guide was very knowledgeable and you could tell she enjoyed what she did. I would definitely go back with the same guide.
The cruise was lovely, sights amazing all lit up at night and there was a great choice of buffet food to chose from. The staff were excellent and the extra drinks were reasonably priced. A very romantic date night that my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed! Highly recommend!
Our guide Anna was amazing. She endured our late departure and even came to pick us up from another point in the city center, because of us being extremely late. She was very nice and was able to tell us a lot of insights about Prague and its history. Thanks Anna!
Michaela was a great guide, giving information on the bus and taking us on a guided tour in the town, providing lots of recommendations. The time given in the town is plenty, I managed to see most of the streets, some shopping and eating, and a castle museum tour!
our guide Malina? ( so sorry if I have got your name wrong) was just wonderful, knowledgeable, told us exactly what will happen with appropriate times and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. our driver was careful, smooth and got us and back safely and on time
Really fun and interesting day out, learnt so much about the history of Prague castle! Our guide (the man with the flute), was super knowledgable and cheerful, couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Definitely worth the money, and the boat trip was lovely too.
We had local beer & fish at a rustic and traditional bar by the river which was great experience. The medieval vibe of cesky krumlov was beautiful We highly recommend this trip as transfer and guide were professional and easy to have conversation Thanks
This was an enjoyable tour that gave a quick impression of the center of Prague, covering most of the major attractions. Even though our guide Diana was not Czech, she was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the city.
This was an excellent all-day trip to Cesky Krumlov and back. Terrific guide who switched between English and Spanish without favoring either. She was personable, funny and very knowledgeable about Prague and Cesky Krumlov.
nice warm comfy boat with good company of random strangers sharing a table. food was good too with lots of choice and plenty of it. The views from the river were gorgeous and Christmas lights on the bank were an added WOW.
Our guide, Jaroslav was knowledgeable and detailed in sharing the history and little nuggets of info during the Prague castle tour. Everything was well paced and we didn’t feel rush at all. Jaroslav is an excellent guide!
The guide was excellent he even called an Uber for us on his account to get us to the River Cruise You need to include transportation from Castle to River Cruise it’s difficult to get a taxi if you don’t have Uber or Bolt
excellent from start to finish. english speaking guide. at times it felt a bit rushed as there was quite a few different tours. would have liked a little more time to take it all in. that said I'd highly recommend
Very moving. One can read and learn if the horrors and suffering of the Holocaust camps but until you see it… Everyone should go if they are in the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany if possible. Never forget,
Anna is truly wonderful. She has an in-depth knowledge of the castle's history and answered all our questions with great patience. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour; it was well worth the money.
We had a wonderful tour given by our guide-Kemajl Mulla-who was so knowledgable. He was able to tell us and show us so much. The tour was interesting and informative as well as delivered with great humour.
Excellent informative tour. The guide that was with us for the day was excellent and we had a great safe driver. The Terezín property guide could have spoken louder, fortunately we were a very small group.
Ivana was a wonderful tour guide. She had amazing insight and knowledge about Prague and provided an extremely interesting experience. I would definitely recommend this tour to others visiting the city.
Jana was an excellent and cheerful guide. The day was rainy and traffic was terrible but she made the situation most tolerable with her knowledge of the city and her positive demeanor. Recommend 👍👍
Excellent trip and great guide. There is no practical way to see the 4 sites (small fortress, large fortress, museum, and crematorium) without organized transport. It was sensitively done.
improvements could be better seating on top deck as you are sitting for 3 hours. Variety and quality of food was good. Captain was very accommodating and went slower at the best sights.
It's a beautiful place with many things to see, and you are afforded 3 hours of free time to do so. Guide Carolina was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Recommended.
It was really perfect. I love the flexibility and how versatile the people from the company were. I totally enjoyed the whole trip. It was truly interesting.
We had a wonderful trip to česky krumlov with our guide Karol. She was easy going, friendly and had a lot of history knowledge about the area we visited.
It’s a lovely place to visit. A day trip is more than enough. Tour was good, we did the extra castle as well. Very good. Lots of restaurants and shops.
Our tour was very sad but Rebecca was a very good tour guide, she was very respectful of the tragedies that had taken place at the concentration camp.
it was fab, although we never went very far on the river. spent most of it in the lock. food was fabulous and the drinks were very reasonably priced
