Details

Experience Lisbon’s historic waterfront from a unique angle on board a 15-meter sailing yacht. Take in the city skyline while enjoying complimentary Portuguese Champagne, crisp white wine, beer, or soft drinks, paired with homemade sweet and savoury snacks.

Meet at the marina to board the yacht Mara for a 2-hour sail, cruising along the river toward the ocean. Once underway, your captain will share interesting facts about Lisbon’s history and its famous monuments.

If you wish, you can try steering the yacht, or simply relax on deck and enjoy the scenic views. Along the route, you’ll pass several of Lisbon’s most recognisable sights, including the iconic suspension bridge, the Christ statue, and the Torre de Belém.

With a maximum of 12 guests, this cruise offers a more personal experience, with drinks served throughout the journey and warm snacks provided during the sail.

Please search "Sailing with Nigel" on Google for directions to the Marina drop off point. Doca de Santo Amaro is the name of the marina. On arrival at the marina, walk past the bars and restaurants towards the suspension bridge and gate number 1 under the bridge is the meeting point. Please arrive 15 minutes before departure. If you are arriving by taxi or Uber, the drop off point is "Sailing with Nigel" on Google maps.

Superb service. Small group experience. Fernando, our captain was laid back, informative and great company.. the snacks were served warm and delicious, bottomless bubbly and white wine were great compliment. An excellent way to just sit back and chill without a care in the world.

Nigel & Rui are class acts and spoil you with an evening of champagne, snacks & beautiful views of sunset on the river. Highly recommend this activity if you travel to Lisbon. Eat dinner at one of the great restaurants at the marina before you sail too. This is a must-do for your visit.

This is a lovely two hour cruise with champagne and snacks. Nigel the boat captain is a great guy, very accommodating, as was the other staff member on the boat. It was chilly by the time the sun was setting because our cruise was from 7 to 9 PM and they even had blankets on board. All around Great activity. This was exactly what I needed! A relaxing sail with delicious wine and snacks, a great company. It’s a great way to get a full view of the city from the river and view beautiful landmarks. The captain and crew were super gracious and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

The tour was amazing! Everything was perfectly planned from start to finish. The team, Nigel and Fernando, were approachable, well organized and took excellent care of us. There were detailed explanations of all kinds, we were allowed to move freely on the ship and were well entertained.
