Details

Discover Lisbon by boat as you sail along the Tagus River and take in the city’s best-known sights from a peaceful perspective. Your journey begins at the Doca do Bom Sucesso Marina, where you’ll board the sailboat and head downstream.

Cruise past the Monument of Discoveries and glide beneath the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge. As you continue along the River Tejo, you’ll have the chance to admire Lisbon’s mix of architectural styles lining the waterfront.

On the return trip, pass by the striking Christ the King statue on the south bank and the historic Belém Tower. If you choose the sunset option, you can watch the sun dip behind the Lisbon skyline—an especially romantic view for couples. Guests are welcome to help the crew sail the boat (no experience needed) or simply relax on deck and enjoy the ride.

The entire sail journey was amazing with great views to see. The crew were really friendly too. In addition they were really skillful and knowledgeable about their seamanship.

We had a lovely afternoon with Manuel and Pedro and a very smooth ride! The wind wasn’t enough for sailing unfortunately but it was still a very nice cruise along under the motor power. Beautiful sights and they told us all about the landmarks and some great history of Lisbon as well.

A very good time on the sailboat at sunset, the view of the city and the monuments from Belém to Lisbon are superb! The crew on the boat is particularly welcoming, and offers a drink to enjoy the experience even more! I highly recommend this activity (suitable for all ages and small groups or families), thank you to the two Franciscos for their contagious good humor and their touristic explanations along the ride!

I would recommend this tour. The crew, Jao and Bruno were exceptional. They were very hospitable and knowledgeable- just as we had come to expect of the wonderful people of Portugal. The sail boat was comfortable and Jao was very accommodating for picture taking. I can’t say enough good about them. I booked this tour because of the reviews so you won’t be disappointed if you choose this one.

This was a very enjoyable sailing tour. The crew was nice and friendly and we had excellent views of the Belem Tower, Monument of the Discoveries and Lisbon. As this was the short (1 hour) tour, we sailed past the bridge toward Lisbon and then quickly turned back, but it was an hour very well spent and very enjoyable. We were with kids (aged 8 & 10) and had no issues. Perhaps it was better that we took the short tour considering that the kids had no time to get bored! We were lucky with the weather too, which helped make this an excellent experience.

It was a lovely one hour sailing trip across the Tagus to the bridge and back It was slightly windy so on a hot day I’m sure it would be even better. Free beer water and the young skipper and his mate were very good Worth the money and definitely recommend

Luis was an excellent captain and entertained us with narration of the sights. We had some avid sailers in our group and they enjoyed his answers to their questions about Tejo navigation, the boats rigging and more. We had a great time!

We enjoyed the sailing trip. It was a nice way to spend couple of hours in Lisbon, while hearing about life there and Portugal in general from a wonderful captain. This is a great activity for a family with younger kids who will need a little break from walking and enjoy seeing the town from the river. We would do this again.
