Prague: Czech Beer Museum w/ Degustation
An overview of the history of beer worldwide kicks off your 90-minute visit to the Czech Beer Museum. From the Golden Age of Czech beer brewing to the present, you'll travel through time.
The magic that happens behind the scenes when using the brewery and malthouse models to make Czech beer is what you'll learn about in the next stage of the tour. Feel the heady aroma of malt and hops.
Continue underground to the cellars built in the 13th century to see the cooper's shop and the excavation and storage of ice prior to refrigeration. There will be hundreds of historical artifacts on display during the tour. The video presentations and authentic surroundings enhance your route.
In two showroom pubs, one from the 1920s and the other from the communist era, sample four Czech beers.
The bottling room is where you'll create a one-of-a-kind Prague memento during the final portion of your tour. You will be given a bottle, which you will then cork yourself and fill with beer using the equipment at the brewery. Finally, you'll design your own label for the bottle and then take it out to enjoy!
