There were an easy acess to the boats. The boats were all on time., and it was easy to find the correct peer. The information was good so we knew what to do. The tour itself was, sorry to say, nothing special. A little bit up and down the river, and we didnt see anything we couldnt see from the landside ourselfs. It would have been nice if the boats were sailing a longer distance on the river so more could have been explored. The man in the ticket office was rude and rolling his eyes at me, He was asking for a name on the ticket, which wasnt there. That is NOT ok.

A very nice boat with friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, in my opinion, shortly after setting sail, we spent too much time waiting in front of the Charles Bridge and then in front of the lock. On the way back, everything proceeded at a brisk pace.

The check-in process was very well organized and went smoothly. The wait for the boat was minimal. The boat ride was educational and relaxing, and we enjoyed the beautiful night views while sipping prosecco and eating breadsticks!

The audio guide can be improved. An individual guide would be better. Plus the guide did not mention all the monuments on the sides of the river, it was very short.

Michal was an excellent guide/host. He is a local - born and raised here in Prague so he was familiar with the sites to see as well as deep knowledge of those sites. We learned so much from him today. He was very personable and curious about where we came from too. He was open to many questions and had fulsome responses. I would recommend this tour and Michal with no hesitations. You won't e disappointed

FAQ

Is the Prague sightseeing cruise wheelchair accessible?

No, this cruise is not suitable for wheelchair users. The boats require navigating steps, and there is no step-free boarding or dedicated onboard accessibility. If needed, you can contact the operator in advance to ask about alternative options.

Are there discounts for children or students?

Children aged 3 to 11 receive discounted tickets, while children under 3 usually travel for free. There is no specific student discount, but the cruise is already one of the more affordable sightseeing options in Prague.

What should I wear on a Vltava River sightseeing cruise?

Dress comfortably and in layers. While the lower decks are enclosed and climate-controlled, many guests prefer the open sundeck, where it can feel cooler due to wind. A light jacket and comfortable, non-slip shoes are recommended.

How often do the cruises depart, and what are the most popular times?

Cruises run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes from mid-morning to late evening. The most popular times are around sunset, when you can enjoy both daylight and illuminated city views. Booking in advance is recommended, especially during peak seasons.

Can I bring luggage or large bags on the cruise?

No, large bags and luggage are not allowed on board due to limited space. Small personal items such as handbags or small backpacks are permitted.

What is the best time of year for a sightseeing river cruise in Prague?

The cruise operates year-round. Late spring through early autumn offers the best weather and open-deck experience, while winter cruises provide cozy views from heated interiors. Shoulder seasons like April and October are a great balance between good weather and fewer crowds.
