Drive approximately three hours to the Pompeii archaeological site after being picked up from Rome. A 15-minute stop will be provided in a middle of a way.
A professional guide will take you on a two-hour group tour of Pompeii, one of the most captivating archaeological sights in the world: a city that was once fully buried in volcanic ash from the Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 AD. Visit fascinating locations like Lupanar, The Forum and Thermal Baths.
Before returning to Rome, you will be taken to a restaurant for a pizza lunch, followed by a drink and have a little time to unwind. Head back to Rome by around 5:30 PM depending on traffic conditions.
Significant information:
- The tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or wheelchair users due to uneven surfaces
