Castle Tours from Venice

The 2 island tour was good for us overall. The boat was nice and allweil organized. We would have enjoyed more time on each island, Murano and Burano, as we had only some 60 minutes available for us on each island. The glass blowing presentation was a disappointment. It only took some 15 minutes and I missed explanations and close up views.

We loved having the tours of Murano and Burano and the opportunity to get on the water, while in Venice. Flavia was an excellent guide, friendly and informative. She also helped us to get to the oldest bookstore in Venice!

We had a lot of fun with the tour. The staff welcomed us very friendly. First we walked through the city for about 20 minutes and our guide Ricardo told us about his city of Venice with infectious enthusiasm. The city tour was very cool, but could have been longer. The focus of this tour is of course clearly on the gondola ride. It was really great too.

Friendly, informative guides who give brief history of how Venice was built. You’ll learn how the Gondolas remain in the family and how the Gondoliers respect one another and work together to keep your ride safe and enjoyable. Highly recommend this Tour. The glass blowing demo on Murano was enjoyable and the colourful houses on Burano were worth seeing. However, the time spent on the glass show room was too long, and we were only taken to that glass shop on Murano. It would be much better we could take a look at other places and visit other shops on the island.

We enjoyed the whole activity very much. My thirteen year old daughter loved it so much. This is truly value for money but we realised there could be other alternative routes that could be much exciting as this. Definitely recommend this

We enjoyed the gondola ride. My wife and I shared with a lady with 2 children on the gondola. Impressed with the skill of the gondolier. The guide that took us to the gondola was just a filler and did not add much value. It was a large group that then got divided into different gondolas.

This was a very good tour. To watch the glass blowing was amazing. The glass blowers are so skilled in their work. The lace produced was so beautiful and such delicate work. The coloured houses were so pretty and gave real character to the island. Our guide was very good and had a lot of knowledge. A must do tour.
