Discover the history and architecture of the Buda Castle District on a structured guided walking tour. Meet your guide near the Vienna Gate, in the heart of the Castle District, and begin your walk through the historic streets and squares.

Pass important historical buildings as you explore the Old Town. Your guide introduces sights including the Mary Magdalene Tower, Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion, explaining their background and significance.
You will also stop by the old Café Ruszwurm, one of Europe’s oldest pastry shops.

The route continues to the former government buildings of Buda Castle. Admire the Royal Stables, Sándor Palace, and the Royal Castle, and catch a view of the Castle Funicular from the walking route.
