We did the park on our last day (so probably a little tired and spent) and didn’t really get the full experience as the park was crowded (it was also a holiday). Beautiful views no doubt, but taking it in on our own was to cheat ourselves. I wish someone at the park could’ve suggested a route or plan since it was hard to know where and what to do before heading down to the exit. I’m still so glad we visited because it is very unique and unusual.

Honestly we weren’t that excited about going in this Gaudi Casa. It wasn’t good it was amazing. Fantastic display of modernism architecture. We just purchased the basic ticket. You get the standard audio device. With the gold ticket you get a small tablet that when scanned around each room superimposes fantasy and furniture. Sorta a fun device but not necessary to be very impressed by this man’s genius.

My husband & I decided to do the tour ourselves rather than with a tour guide and spent 1 hour in the park. The entrance was quite tricky to find as there were no sign posts to our meeting point and got frustrated as we were sent to different places which wasted our time especially in the heat. The park itself was beautiful & colourful with amazing views so was worth the trip.

This place is fascinating but lots of walking and very confusing map makes it tricky. Only 1 small to go restaurant. Here and there people sell water some for 2 euros, most for 1.5 euros. But go early! It can get ridiculously crowded! Or go late in afternoon. There are a lot of wooded trails but it still can get very hot. It’s worth it, though.

There’s no audio guide. I never got one so there’s that but there’s a booklet that to be honest was all I needed. It’s absolutely stunning and there was even a guy playing the guitar when I sat down. Perfect ambience and beautiful place. My advice is to go early in the day or later in the afternoon as it was too hot to manage

Really fantastic views over Barcelona. It’s an influencers dream for the camera shots. We were unfortunate that we visited at the end of a very hot and busy day so we didn’t enjoy it as much as we could have done. I would highly recommend this to anyone though, a must do when visiting Barcelona.

If you're visiting Barcelona, Park Güell is a MUST visit! It is located on higher ground than other beautiful attractions and you can see a good part of the city from up there! I was there ~5 years ago and the Snake Bench and the salamander are still mesmerizing as the first time I saw them!

Since my daughter was a little girl, her dream was to visit Park Güell because of course of the Cheetah girls movie. But, if you are not visiting for that reason I still recommend coming to the park. The architecture alone is quite impressive and beautiful. We really enjoyed our visit.

Definitely worth the hike up the hill if you are walking - make sure you book early to obtain a ticket. The main attraction is within the centre of the park and wonderful to experience the colourful tile artwork which was originally for a new house type development.

Excellent time walking around this beautiful park and garden. We brought snacks with us but there were many parts where you could buy ice old water for 1 euro (in cash). Many photo ops which included breathtaking views of the city and works of art within the park.

You will be given an entrance ticket and a time slot to explore Park Güell at your leisure. Antoni Gaudí's colorful mosaic art, such as the Dragon Stairway with its world-famous salamander, will impress you and be immensely fun. A walk through the green Austria Gardens is one of the best ways to relax after stressful working days and from the city life. Take amazing photos at Barcelona`s best lookout points.

As for the history of this place, it is quite interesting. A Catalan entrepreneur, Eusebi Güell, who wanted to recreate a British residential park on Muntanya Pelada (Bare Mountain), assigned the plan for the park to Gaudí. In 1926, it was established as a city park; in 1969, it was designated as an artistic landmark; and in 1984, it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

You must enter the park at the designated time, but once inside, you are free to stay and enjoy it for however long you like.
