Take this walking tour to learn more about Barcelona's famous architecture. Learn everything there is to know about the city's most famous landmarks, including the Sagrada Famlia and the Passeig de Gràcia's Art Nouveau wonders with a local guide. Take a tour by yourself or with a group.

Start your tour at the Sant Pau Recinte Modernista, a former hospital built by Lluís Domènech i Montaner, one of the founders of Catalonian modernism. Admire this enormous complex, which is the largest Art Nouveau site in the world and includes 27 buildings.

After that, take a stroll along Avinguda Gaudi to the Sagrada Famlia, Antonio Gaud's most famous building and the symbol of Barcelona. As you take in the stunning Sagrada Famlia from every vantage point, your tour guide will reveal all the secrets of the symbols that are embedded in the two facades.

Continue along the picturesque Passeig de Gràcia, which is known for its Art Nouveau and modernist buildings built by Gaudi, Domènech i Montaner, and Puig i Cadafalch architects. The best of these, like Casa Milá, Casa Batlló, and Casa Lleó Morera, will be the focus of your guide.

Take a look at the Casa Amatller, one of the most distinctive modernist structures, to learn more about the process of making chocolate in Barcelona that began in 1797. In the chocolate shop (not included), treat yourself to a taste of the delicious assortment of Amatller chocolates.

The Casa Lleó i Morera, another masterpiece by Domènech i Montaner, is where your Barcelona walking tour will come to an end. One of Barcelona's best-preserved modernist buildings with impressive stained glass, mosaics, sculptures, and woodwork is now home to the luxury fashion retailer Loewe.

At the conclusion of the tour, you will have a better understanding of how these amazing buildings, whether they are used for worship, housing, or healthcare, always have a graceful design and attention to detail. They are what distinguish Barcelona up to such a higher extent.

Wonderful experience! Our guide was a wealth of knowledge and charm as she guided us and introduced us to hidden sights that we had walked by numerous times and didn't even notice! Gave us a better appreciation for the buildings and history!
