Experience Berlin by solar-powered catamaran and glide silently along the Spree on an emission-free boat tour. The vessel combines the atmosphere of a yacht with electric solar propulsion, offering a relaxed way to view the capital’s riverside sights without engine noise.

The cruise begins at the harbour of Solarwaterworld AG beside the Oberbaumbrücke, in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. During the approximately 2.5-hour route, enjoy onboard information, drinks, and snacks while passing landmarks visible from the water.

Sail beneath the impressive Oberbaum Bridge and alongside the world-famous East Side Gallery. One of the journey’s key moments is the passage through the Mühlendamm Lock, before the catamaran continues west along the Spree.

The route then passes Museum Island, Berlin’s renowned cultural heritage site, followed by the government district, including the Reichstag and the Federal Chancellery.
You will also see Berlin Central Station, a notable example of the city’s modern architecture, before reaching the House of World Cultures—known locally as the “pregnant oyster”—where the boat turns back towards the departure harbour.

Instead of a public-address system, the tour provides an easy-to-follow audio guide in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Hebrew, and Russian. Solarwaterworld AG may operate the tour with any vessel from its fleet or substitute the scheduled boat; all vessels are solar-electric catamarans.

Highly recommended!!! Not too crowded like other boat tours we've done with other providers, small but yours is the motto here and they really live up to that. There was an Aperol as a welcome gift and the selection of drinks is really impressive. The two were sooo super friendly we would book again immediately.

Relaxing boat trip with a cocktail to start. Audio guide could have given more info. If you go on this trip which I’d recommend sit at the back of the boat so you get the best lighting for photos and the sunset

The boat trip declared as an evening trip is scheduled far too early (7:30 p.m.) at the beginning of July(!). It was only shortly before the end of the journey that twilight set in, so that we did not, or hardly, enjoy seeing the area illuminated in the evening. The route should at least go as far as Charlottenburg Palace or be offered as a circuit! The AudioGuide system often had dropouts due to low battery capacity and takes some getting used to, especially for older guests! (The device must be held close to the ear.) During the journey, it would be better to use a loudspeaker system to provide direct sound reinforcement in the ship's cabin. The crew and bar staff are courteous and friendly. The ship makes a good impression. Solar electric drive top! "Onboard" drinks => very high prices!

Totally recommended, all seats are outside! Small, well-stocked bar and unbeatable for the price, since it takes 2.5 hours to get there. The audio guide gives some interesting information here and there and otherwise you can just enjoy the ride and see Berlin from a different angle. We thought it was great :)
