Evening Cruise with Drink of Your Choice and Live Music

We have booked the cruise with drink of our choice and live music. The drink was not "of our choice", actually it was cheap champagne or apple liqueur, both awful. The cruise is nice. The show with music and dancing is at the main hall of the ship, where dinner is served, so we couldn't enjoy it from our seats. Just select the simple cruise, all the other options do not worth the extra charge.

I was really disappointed by this evening which is a shame because all of the reviews were really good. I don’t enjoy massive boat trips so wasn’t aware that what seemed like at least a few hundred people would be onboard. You meet at the Danube and then are briskly walked to the boat ( this was a complete shambles, no on the tour group had a clue where they were going or what the location of the boat was) would have been much easier to just meet at the boat. The cruise itself was fun for the first hour but after it felt really dragged out and there was just way too many people but that’s because I prefer much smaller experiences with less people.

The tour is great! We took the evening tour and enjoyed the buildings at night. There is an audio guide included in the price in many languages (Greek, too) which gives you very interesting information about the city, not the one you can find in any guide, but the details you have to search for. I would recommend you do the cruise at the beginning of your visit in Budapest so that you get to know the city. The staff is very friendly and the drinks offered make the one-hour cruise more enjoyable.

Great experience. The live music was phenomenal in addition to the folk dancing. Amazing views, definitely recommend going at night like we did to see everything lit up

Booked the cruise to see the nightime sights of Budapest with my son (age 19), mother and son city break. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The live musicians were pleasant and a nice touch, but did play the same tunes. We didn't have food included but did purchase some nachos. These were a box version with only salsa, so not totally nachos as we thought. What we were really disappointed with, there was no commentary, or information as to the beautifully, lit buildings and bridges we were passing. We were hoping for some guide or even written information about these. To get nice photos or views of the sights you had to go outside on deck to see as the lighting on board was not dimmed and I could only see my own reflection, but i do understand that people cant eat in the dark. Overall, we did enjoy this river cruise but I'm not sure if I would recommend it.

The walk along the Danube is a beautiful experience that gives value to your visit to Budapest. We were played by an exceptional musical team that made the experience very pleasant.

A really lovely way to see Budapest. The music a nice accompaniment. Drinks were very reasonably priced. We didn’t bother with food. Had a great night.

It was my first time cruise and I was immerssed with the music and the dance. It will be better if we able to book the 7pm Cruise. Sadly it was full booked.

The cruise started from around 10:10 PM. I reserverd one starting from 9:30 and expected to end by 11:00 PM. However most public transportation stopped running , the journey ended 11:45. except few number of night buses which stopped far from the spot. I liked live music and the players attitude.
