Details

On the way to Szentendre, you can make a short stop at Roman’s coast and ruins. You guide will make suggestions about the best galleries and museums to visit as well as which local foods to sample.

Walk around the Baroque center of the town, weaving through its narrow streets and alleyways built from the medieval ruins. After exploring the hidden beauty of the town, enjoy one of the museums. Sample a tasty langosh, a famous local cake, or a famous local ice cream. Spend some free time shopping and exploring the art and culture of the town before returning to Budapest.

This excursion and the description provided are not good value for money in any case. You might as well have hired a car, as it only included a scoop of ice cream or coffee or langos, no wine tasting or lunch, although there are green ticks in the program offer. We were very disappointed, especially as the price is not justified. The guide was great and tried to solve this problem, but unfortunately without success, as it was apparently not included in the price.

We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day private tour in Szentendre, Hungary.
