Trips from Budapest to Szentendre

I genuinely enjoyed my day; the views were amazing! The only downside was that everything felt a bit rushed. We had three stops, and I didn't have enough time to explore everything properly. Make sure to have cash on you, preferably in euros. I had the best lunch of my life, and it was incredibly cheap! It was a long day, but definitely very memorable.

It was a really well balanced tour the stops were interesting and we had enough time at each. The lunch at the hunters restaurant was really good and one of the best meals I’ve had in Hungary There was a problem as I had not specified a dietary restriction but it was no trouble Szentendre was really nice and the boat trip back to Budapest was lovely

We had a great tour! It was so insightful and relaxing. We saw everything we wanted to see and learned so much about the city.

Enjoyed getting out into the countryside and seeing a bit more of Hungary. The guide Maria-Gabriella was very friendly, informative & helpful. Enjoyed the Castle visit and lunch was ok quality. The last stop was too much of a tourist trap but liked the old bar selling chimney cakes and good beer. We had a very brief stop in Slovakia and would have appreciated more time there. Overall a worthwhile trip I would recommend but 4 rather than 5 stars.

Rudy was a very friendly knowledgeable guide. He was on time - well informed and kept us moving at a good pace. He showed us lots of behind the scenes aspects of Szentendre. A lovely day!

We enjoyed the guide being upbeat but a little over bearing. We thought we’d at least have lunch as a family alone but she stayed. No water in car as offered.

Really interesting visit and our guide Yolanda was excellent! Nice to ‘pop’ into Slovakia for good views. The 3 course meal in the hilltop restaurant was really good! Chicken soup, Chicken paprikash with the best sauerkraut I’ve ever had! It’s traditional Hungarian food, so lovely. Some previous feedback on this trip was that the food wasn’t good- not sure what they were expecting, but we thought it was great! The trip back down the Danube was a lovely way to end the day. Well worth it!

The excursion was amazing. The last stop wonderful. Our guide extremely well informed and helpful. The food could be improved.

So informative. Great places to visit. Gregory was a great driver and tour guide. Accommodated our needs. Just wish the price was lower as we’re only 2 people.

Unfortunately a very small city that you can see everything quickly... somehow there should be more program

It was a wonderful trip!! Yolanda our tour guide is an excellent guide. She kept describing places along the way, told us a lot of history, took us to a great place for lunch, and was always willing to help and answer our questions. I highly recommend this tour. We even crossed to the other side of the river to Slovakia for breathtaking views of the Basilica.

Walking around Szentendre. I would suggest a trip to Szentendre with pre booked meal :)

Matthias is an excellent guide with multilingual abilities! Anthony is a top notch driver especially the tight and narrow lanes!

our guide Clara was amazing . She was impressive with her deep and broad knowledge about the history. She did her best even tho the Basilica was close to tourists due to ceremony. i would recommend this tour. my only disappointment was not having enough time for the artists town.

It was a beautiful day in the company of the guide Rudi, really great and super helpful.
