Friendly and professional guide that gave us information and history throughout the walking tour. The gondola ride was the most exciting and fun experience. The 3d video interaction was also well presented and fun to join with.

The walking tour was excellent. We learned a lot about the city. The gondola ride was good but not very long and there was no live guide during the ride. It's something to check off the list at a very reasonable price.

The only negative note is that the docking area to get off the gondolas is not suitable and absolutely needs to be improved.

The gondola right was just perfect. Not too short, not too long, just right. The view in the Grand Canal is superb, and the narrow canals that the ride takes you through is quiet and calm. It was off season so not crowded, and the price was great. I booked last minute because wasn't sure of the weather, it had been raining all morning, but the weather held up and we had a super ride.

Was a great experience, the walking tour and the bookshop was a great extra in the experience! 100% recommend!

Very good for the price it is, opposite of maybe the 100€ that ask you the private gongoliers, here you get probably the same experience for not even half the price. Plus in the end you get VR tour of how was Venice back in the days for free, so what can you ask more for? I definitely recommend this tour.

The walking Tour with Rosela was amazing. She is extremely knowledgeable! Very detailed and kindly answered all our questions. Knowing the history of the city helps to enjoy it more as a tourist. Rosela was phenomenal! She spoke English. Definitely do the walking tour!

Excellent experience. Very very well organized. We walk along the emblematic monuments of the Grand Canal as well as the small arteries, very good value for money. Meeting point very easy to find. Do not hesitate, you really will not regret.

Staff are very friendly and the meeting location was easy to find. A nice overview is given before the gondola ride and while on the Grand Canal. The ride itself was lovely and relaxing and our gondalier even sang a little song and pointed out a few places of interest :) Head to Emilio Ceccato beside the Rialto bridge afterwards to pick up the shirt all the gondaliers wear from the nicest lady who works there.

We had a lot of fun with the tour. The staff welcomed us very friendly. First we walked through the city for about 20 minutes and our guide Ricardo told us about his city of Venice with infectious enthusiasm. The city tour was very cool, but could have been longer. The focus of this tour is of course clearly on the gondola ride. It was really great too.

Good tour to go to the gondola. This way it is cheaper and you get a small guided tour of Venice. The gondola experience is something that must be done yes or yes.

Very interesting tour. The explanation of the Grand canal due to problems with the radios is not clear, however resolved with the kindness of Claudia who made herself available to repeat it. Advised

A plus that the guide will narrate and then place us in the gondolas. That enriched the experience.

Beautiful experience, thanks above all to our guide Alessandra who was able to involve us with sympathy in the story of Venetian history during the introductory walking tour, especially that relating to the Grand Canal, gondolas and gondoliers. This was followed by a gondola ride of about half an hour, during which the gondolier was equally available to answer any questions we might have.

It was a very nice experience. A must do in Venice. For private gondola rides you'll pay more than double the price for the same duration of time. (30mins). Instead you can share a gondola with max 5 people. You only get a guided audio video, no tour guide (we were told it was because of the weather, it was a rainy day). Which was a bit of a setback cause it is written in the description that you'll get a tour guide explaining some things to you for 20 min before the ride starts. Which did not happen. Although we were fortunate to get a very nice and friendly gondolier, who explained some things to us. Yet it is a bit hard though to keep up with the audio + the gondolier explaining things (not always coinciding with the audio) + trying to enjoy the view and taking pictures/videos). So in the end I think it would have been easier to have gotten a guide, it would have been more organised and I think we could've enjoyed it more.

The gondola was amazing …. We met the guide who led us all the way to pick up the gondola … was very well organised … we went all down the side canals and ended up on the grand canal … which was amazing … would thoroughly recommend it … well worth the money.

Punctual timetable and meeting point near the starting canal. Friendly gondolier and excellent "guide" who explained to us the buildings we saw passing by or the events that characterized those places. Very nice experience that I recommend to do at least once to everyone

We went as a group of 11 and had three different gondoliers. While ours did not offer many details he was friendly and whistled some throughout. The other two gondoliers offered plentiful information about the buildings the occupants were seeing.

Very enjoyable gondola ride through narrow canals. This is a very popular activity and the whole area was full of queuing visitors and gondolas. Only 5 or 6 people per boat, but sharing with strangers in such a cramped area can be uncomfortable.

We weren't sure about doing this ride but really pleased that we did. We booked and paid for it online earlier in the day (about £100), went to the travel office in Campo san Luca at the allotted time, where we were issued with a voucher which we took to Bacino Orseolo to give to any of the gondoliers there. Three of us enjoyed having a gondola to ourselves (although we probably could have arranged a ride for just 3 of us on the spot earlier in the day at one of the quieter gondola stations), and booked for 6pm so we enjoyed sunset on the Grand Canal. The gondolier hardly spoke to us but that was fine, we just enjoyed the sights from the water.

The view is incredible. Th gondola itself was nice. The gentleman maneuvering the gondola was nice but did not speak much besides telling us his name. Next time I would opt for a gondola ride that specifically states conversation or music or at least pointing things out is included.

Although it was a bit difficult for us to get to the meeting point, there was a guide who later took us to the starting point. The gondolier was very friendly and entertained us with anecdotes and comments about Venice since the gondola was exclusively for the four of us.

It is the first time that I take this kind of tours and I am delighted with the service. Arriving at the agency we asked for favor if they changed the schedule because it was raining and we did not want to lose the experience of getting on the gondola and the attention was immediate. When we were on our way to the gondola we were given a brief explanation of its origin and the tour was the best, the very friendly gondolier and all the staff, I highly recommend it

Murano part was spoiled by being captive in one shop and factory. We would have liked time to walk to all the shops, so the stop should have been another 1/2 hour longer. Technically one could have left the shop but there was no time, and you had to come through the shop again to get back to the boat. The other two islands were superb stops, and perfect as they occurred. Fifteen more minutes on Torello would have been icing on the cake.

Björn M.

It was very good. The guide was there to answer any question and made it easy for us to know what to look for and where in the islands. My only advice to tourists who are not very interested in historical places to take the Murano and Burano without Torcello tours. Torcello is beautiful, and has it's own valuable attractions but different than what you find in Murano and Burano and not that family friendly. All together, it was a wonderful experience and I admire the punctuality of the tour including the transportation.

A bit difficult to find the tour manager as several groups from different tour operators were at the same dock at the same time...

Larry

You see the three islands and they leave you time to explore them, personally I didn't pay much attention to the explanations on the boat but I really liked the boat, we left on time and came back sooner because the last island of the three didn't have much to see, something that I appreciate.

Neha

The tour was a lot of fun, our guide Julia was well versed and really gave us a lot of information and backstory of the locations we visited. The island were absolutely beautiful and the ride to each place was really comfortable too. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend to everyone that thinks of doing this tour!

We had an amazing day, so glad that we booked this trip. Great value for money. Murano and Burano were brilliant, there was less to see on Torecello but glad we booked it as we had longer at Burano than those who had just booked the Murano & Burano trip. Watching the glass making in Murano was really interesting too.

Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco. We also visited Torcello, but I think it isn't worth the detour. The time we could spend in Murano and Burano was not enough, it would be better to skip Torcello and lenghten the time in Murano and Burano. Burano is the best spot for gorgeous photos!

Adam

Good price for the itinerary. The islands are beautiful and full of history! People usually skip Torcello, but it is a great mistake! Torcello was one of the highest spots of this tour for me! The only remark goes to the sound system in the intern part of the boat: low level and people talking during the explanations made the listening a hard task for me and my group. Unfortunately we shared the boat with people that does not were properly educated and even interested in the explanations…

It's definitely a trip to do. But be on time or 15 mins early at every point! We looked at doing the half day trip but glad we didn't as we got much more time in Burano for a chilled lunch and walk along the island. There wasn't much to do in Torcello, but it does have history, and you can climb the church.

Emmaline A.

it was perfect! the times on each island were sufficient. only downside, the guide on the way back was not the same...very strange way of speaking and we didn't understand anything. the 3 islands are superb with a favorite for Burano and its colors! You have to climb to the top of the Torcello campanile, the view is magnificent

Gloria

Very worthwhile trip. Small exhibit at the glass blowing factory on Murano and then around an hour on the island. then to Burano where you have 2 hours to explore (get lunch at this point) and this is a perfect amount of time to see the island and it's beautiful colours. Next to Torcello you get around an hour or so, again a perfect amount of time. It isn't massively clear to understand the points of interest that they point out on the boat. For the money you spend it is definitely worthwhile!

It is a 4-hour tour that allows you to visit Burano and a glass factory in Murano. If you have little time available it is ideal, but if you want to make a more detailed visit, another tour is better.

Boat on time and easy to find guide. View from boat to islands was beautiful and guide was very informative. The glass products (and demonstration) at Murano was mind blowing. Definitely buy there as it is cheaper than in Venice. Burano is also beautiful. Would have loved to spent more time there, but a wonderful trip to see the two islands.

Really nice and iconic excursion when staying in Venice. The Murano tour and demonstration at the glass factory was superb! 1h30 of free time in Burano, a very nice and colorful little fishing island. I advise you to dress well on the boat because it was very very cold (period at the end of February) We do not regret this excursion!

Thomas B.

The price is quite good compared to other options, however it is a little tedious having to listen to the guide repeat the same information in 5 different languages, because there comes a time when he is talking about monuments or places that are no longer in sight While the boat is moving, it would be preferable to book something smaller with the preferred language. Aside from that, the overall experience is good and the guide is very helpful and friendly.

In a month long tour of Europe this was one of the very best things we did, loved it! Boat ride was fab, then Burano so beautiful and Murano glass workshop amazing! Really worth every Euro - thought it would cost a lot, lot more. 10/10

The weather was awsome, so the trip was great. The kids (8-13 years) loved it-especially the glass factory presentation and the things at the store were really beautiful, too. So I would recomend it to the tourists with kids. The Burano island was beautiful. We also managed to get some pizza (even glutenfree) there, which was delicious and inexpensive.

We had a very enjoyable gondola ride (one and only as newlyWeds) with our guide. Luckily the weather was perfect and the guide told us interesting facts about the different historically significant buildings along the canal as we passed them. The trip felt like the perfect amount of time for a short afternoon activity after we toured the Basilica and Palace all morning.

We had a delightful ride with Diario. He was so proud of his family’s legacy and we were excited to hear the details of his fathers work. We rode in his family’s 32 year old gondola and he even pointed out his fathers home. It was fun to hear the gondoliers banter while riding the canal. It’s a very quick ride under the bridge of sighs and back again. Time flies when you’re having fun!

I’ve traveled a lot, but never really used a guided tour like this one. What an amazing experience Anthony provided for us! Engaging stories, excellent driving, extreme patience, and outstanding wit made our tour an easy way to experience the Scottish Highlands in just a few days. The trip was well-planned in the number, type, and activities available at each site. Loads of fun and even great back up plans when traffic issues required a detour on the third day. Highly recommended!

Already on the boat trip by taxi to Murano, our guide Giovanna explained a lot of interesting things about Venice and the origin of the glass manufactories. The private tour of the glass factory was very impressive and informative. Due to the special Corona situation, the four of us were the only guests, which meant that we were looked after extremely courteously and personally. The subsequent stroll with Giovanna through Murano with a visit to two churches in which pictures by old masters were hidden on the walls, the onset of flooding due to the tide and the many stories that Giovanna knew to tell us about Murano and Venice rounded off our private tour away. A very successful trip!

The tour guide was very helpful and was pointing out various landmarks around the islands. The passengers were split into two groups, one each for two glass factories on Murano. We went to the Mazzucato factory which had a very good demonstration of glass blowing

We chose a private tour with a guide to the island of Murano, and it was a very pleasant experience, a far cry from group tours. Our guide took the time to tell us about the history of Venice and we visited places far from the tourist crowds. We stayed in Venice for four days, and this outing was by far the best. Grazie mille!

We found the whole experience very pleasant. The meeting point was convenient and easy to find. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. We preferred the Colosseum part of the experience more than the forum part but that was just personal preference and why we had booked the tour in the first place. We learned some things we'd never known before and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

Antonello M.

Sonya was a great tour guide. We were surprised by the amount of knowledge she shared about the colosseum, forum and Palentine hill. The tour started at the lower subway station and ended on top of the palentine hill. The colosseum is a busy place and with the small group we were able to circle around and see photos and other documents that showed the area in its height.

Sophia D.

The colosseum is something amazing to see. So rich in history and a definite must if you’re in Rome. Overall, our guide was good and very knowledgeable as he used to be an archeologist working on the site, however , he did speak a bit too fast and our ear pieces kept getting interference with other guides. Aside from that, an awesome activity for sure.

Kamryn F.

Having a guide is excellent both for understanding how the Colosseum was built and how it fit into the history of Rome as well as simply helping navigate the structure and crowds. It’s helpful to be able to take your time looking at details and imaging how things were, with good narration.

Cristian S.

It was a good tour, but it's really not just a Colloseum tour. Was more like an hour on Palatine Hill, an hour at the Forum and 30 minutes at the Colloseum - partly due to issues with security for one of the group. We did end in the Colosseum though and could stay as long as we wanted afterwards. Having done Pompeii the week before with an archaeologist guide, we had a good understanding of Roman times which was useful. Being in Rome itself is overwhelming so it's nice to just follow a guide a round and look at a few bits and get some chat. No idea how much queue time we saved by using the group fast track - groups enter at a different gate than non-groups and we never saw the queue on the other side. It was all efficient and quick for the tours though - but don't bring a scooter for your kid as it won't get in!

Our guide Maria was amazing, She went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Very funny and knowledgeable and got the information across while keeping you interested. Ocassionally the headset we used wasnt clear or cut out but that could just be due to the distance where the group got briefly split in crowds

Laura L. Was great! Super knowledgeable, nice and funny. She related history to current times. She made everything easy to understand and had great photos to share of what the original buildings looked like. She kept if fresh and friendly while keeping historical accuracy at the forefront. She helped us navigate to the lift so we could get to the top floor of the Colloseo. And she told us the actual name of the building!

Thoroughly enjoyable tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Tour guide was knowledgeable but struggled to answer any questions which were additional to her tour information. Thank God for Google. Roman forum was lovely. Just a shame that once the tour was finished and we were left to explore the Roman Forum by ourselves, the place was closing. So we had to exit with loads still to see. Never the less I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and well worth the ticket price.

The weather forecast was rain and we could have been warned to bring raincoats or water repellent shoes. Most of us had clothes and shoes that got wet. I managed to buy a small umbrella from a hawker, but still got wet as it was windy. I was looking forward to a hot drink but cafe was closed. You can imagine reaching very cold St Moritz with damp trousers and wet shoes. We could have been warned on email before the trip to be prepared in case of rain as it was a long walk from the bus to the boat. Tourist guide did not manage our expectations. Also the tourist guide’s English was incomprehensible and vocabulary limited. She would say something in English and switch immediately to Spanish where she was more comfortable in. You could tell she was struggling. Not enough knowledge so we missed out a lot of important facts and info. The radio to listen to her was not working.

What an experience! This trip is our something special to remember from our visit to N. Italy! The lake cruise was so beautiful, the trip from Como to St. Moritz by bus was so thrilling, the St. Moritz views are breathtaking, and of course the Bernina train experience just WOW. 100% recommended. Special thanks to Giada, our guide, who is such a sweet person, for giving us every little detail to make this experience even more unique! And hats off to Santo, our driver, who made 6+ hours on the bus feel like nothing.

We enjoyed a wonderful day visiting Lake Como and St Moritz on this group tour. It started with a few of us finding our way to the meeting spot and checking with one another to see if we were in the right place ... which we were. Once the tour started we quickly found our tour leader to be very experienced and informative in multiple languages of course. The were so many highlights and beautiful scenic panoramas along the way so collected lots of snaps to choose best ones for posts. The lake trip was a highlight not only for the scenery but some of the majestic if not historic homes of the rich and famous. The train ride over the mountains was something special. Special mention was the lunch we almost had in St Moritz when we ran out of time to wait for our meal. The waitress was not happy, but the train waits for no one! Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Amazing experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone planning on going. We were told the bus would collect us from the given location at 7:15 and we were told to get there at 7:00 The bus came about 5 min late which made my family doubt the company being legit. Once we got on the bus we were greeted by our tour guide sara who was very welcoming. She helped us with multiple things throughout the journey. It was around 13 hours long and we enjoyed every moment of it. The views of the alps were simply stunning, lake como also stunned us all. The food was amazing in St moritz And the chocolates were to die for. The tour guide had provided us with all the information regarding the food at the stops. Honestly sara was the best tour guide we could’ve asked for. Overall it was a 5 star experience

Excellent day trip. We didn’t sit in the official Bernina Express panoramic train, as advertised. We rode in the regular passenger train, but in a way, this turned out to be better because we were able to pull down the windows and get a real view, smell the air, and take incredible photos without the glare - something we wouldn’t have been able to do on the panoramic train. The views were spectacular and our guide was excellent - incredibly knowledgeable and humorous. The bus driver was also very skillful and cautious as he drove us down a precarious and very narrow winding road down the mountain from St. Moritz. Bring a light jacket and light sweater, as it gets chilly up in the mountains. Highly recommend!

The overall package was a good experience. Make sure to pack a snack if you aren't able to get breakfast before leaving; there is several hours before you stop for a meal break. A lot of time on the bus but the train ride back from St Moritz is beautiful.

Great experience. Few tips. -Opt for the left hand side of the boat out the back for best views and photo opportunities. -on the red train, you can see if the carriages behind have less passengers-again easier to take pictures etc. Great tour, no up selling etc

Excellent. Even though it was raining in Como the view was spectacular. Driving through the Morjola pass was extremely scary but one of the most beautiful and scenic experience. The stop in St Moritz was a good break. I had one of the most delicious tasting hot chocolate ever and I regret not buying two of the pastries. The Bernina Express train through the Swiss Alps was everything and thanks to Andre who provided the background and history throughout the entire trip. Highly recommended.

The excursion to the lagoon gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. The boat ride through nature was breathtaking, and a stop on the island of Murano allowed us to see the glass making process and learn about the art of glassblowing.

It was a great way to see the culture and history of Venice and the surrounding islands. The glass demo was interesting and a must . The coloured houses in Burano are eye-catching and the story behind them light hearted. With quaint restaurants, for a light bite and a glass of wine. Spent approximately an hour and half at each location.

The first 2 islands were very nice, the last one was not much (a church on an island) There were also people who did the 2 islands tour, I would recommend that to people. A visit to the glass museum is an absolute must as far as I am concerned, but I have not seen a tour in a glass factory (they must mean the museum, but you can visit it at your own expense and opportunity)

The best €25 I ever spent! Amazing day trip to 3 gorgeous little villages! Perfect amount of free time in each place, the day flies in! Like other people have said, don't buy anything in the glass factory, things are much cheaper in the shops. Really nice big boat, with an option to sit inside or outside.

Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco. We also visited Torcello, but I think it isn't worth the detour. The time we could spend in Murano and Burano was not enough, it would be better to skip Torcello and lengthen the time in Murano and Burano. Burano is the best spot for gorgeous photos !

The information given by the multilingual guide was clear and interesting to know. The islands are a must see, Burano being the most picturesque with its brightly colored houses. The boat ride is comfortable. The free time granted on site allows you to wander the alleys while admiring the very nicely stocked local shops.

The educational visit on the manual processing of glass in artisan ovens is interesting. But I don't understand why the shop is induced in internal shops with very high prices, even in the shops in the internal square of the town. The paradox is that in the bazaars along the route to Venice in the Rialto bridge area, the prices of Murano glasses, identical to those we bought on the island, are 3 euros lower per piece. One out of five would come free. What a disappointment!!!

"The trip was very well organized, with stops on the way for a break, and to view the bay of Naples, the surrounding islands and Mt. Vesuvius. The guide in Pompeii was excellent, and he provided important information. I would have preferred to be 20 min. longer in the excavations, rather than in the Cameo shop. "

"Great day! Bus was waiting at pick up point and was nice and clean. The guide spoke good English just took a bit to get used to her accent/pronounsiations. The stop halfway was really nice for a coffee. You need to pay at the till for what you want then take your receipt to the counter to order. The restaurant we stopped for lunch was just outside the ruins of Pompeii. We had a choice of pizza a drink and ice-cream which were all very good as we were hungry. Next onto the tour of Pompeii our guide for this was very passionate and very knowledgeable. It was a very hot day but she kept us interested and engaged. We had some free time at the end to visit the museum which was quite sad. Then we headed back to Rome with a toilet stop at the same place as before. The time seemed to go fast and soon we were back in Rome. I would highly recommend this tour 100% "

really good, well organized. You see a huge amount of history in this tour, possibly the most interesting being the Palatine hill. Our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiast tic, and really brought things to life by involving members of the tour. The only thing thing stopping me giving it five stars was that it was so hot that we really wanted her to cut the stories just a little bit Be aware there is quite a lot of climbing steps involved. water is available on the way, but there can be long delays to wait for it due to queues.

We had a very knowledgeable guide - Alessandro - who quickly moved though some technical challenges to give us a very thorough commentary of the Forum, Palatine Hill and Colosseum. We had the best tour guide, his name was Alessandro. He was really knowledgable and thorough. It was a great tour, really informative and interesting. Sadly some of the group members were in a rush to get around the colosseum, probably only interested in the skip the queue benefit to be able to say they had been there. What a shame they missed Alessandro’s expert tour. This tour is not for those in a rush, this tour is an in-depth one, fantastic for anyone with any interest in learning about the history of Rome, the colosseum, the forum and palatine hill. Alessandro kept us all engaged, adults and kids, at all times and answered many questions, nothing was too much for him. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour and would strongly urge anyone planning to book this tour to request a tour with Alessandro. If you are actually interested in spending time hearing about Rome’s history and not just taking selfies, this is the tour for you and he is the best tour guide out there!

Ales was informative and knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about Roman history, and the restoration and preservation of the areas that we visited. My friend and I arrived late by accident (no fault of the tour). They were so incredibly helpful, particularly one person - I believe his name was Costa or Kosta? "Our tour leader Cosimo was excellent. Booking was simple through the App. It’s a long day, but worth the investment in time. Pompeii is incredible. "This trip was so fun and well worth it. It is the easiest way to get in Pompei and the coast while visiting Rome. I would recommend making a reservation from the bus if you’re wanting to eat at a sit down restaurant in Positano and you have a rough estimate if when you will arrive. Eat first and then take the rest of the time to shop or go to the beach. The time goes by fast, but you still get a feel for it and the drive there is beautiful and a little scary. The driver was excellent though and knows how to navigate the roads expertly. Pompei was also surreal to see and our tour guide there was very knowledgeable. Ilaria was pleasant and helpful throughout the trip. It’s a long day and tiring day but you get plenty of time to rest on the van. If you are interested in these destinations, spend the money and do the tour! No regret and definitely my favorite day from my weekend visiting Rome. "

"We had an amazing time on this trip & the experience was well worth it. Both of our guides were incredibly knowledgeable about Postanio, Pompeii, & the surrounding areas we passed on the trip. "It's a long ride both ways, so be prepared to ride for a while. There is a nice break around the halfway point. We were picked up on time with a group of about 12 travelers. Good balance between tour information and giving us time to see and think for ourselves. Paolo, the tour leader at Pompeii, was outstanding. Very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the subject. He did an excellent job on a brutally hot day of showing us a lot in the time we had, while still giving us time in the shade to cool off. "This a great way to see Positano and Pompeii from Rome. It is a long 13 hour day but is broken up by frequent stops on the way down and back, so it made the drive much more enjoyable. We were able to spend 2 hours in Positano for Lunch and shopping and then got back on the transfer and headed to Pompeii, where we got a 2 hour guided tour. This is the best way in my opinion on how to see pompeii. If your lucky enough to get Fransceco as your guide you will be treated to his enthusiasm for the site, as well as his humor. Our tour guide Mattio on the transfer service was all great and provide a wealth of knowledge about Rome and the area. I would highly recommend this tour. Don’t forget to tip these guides, if you are happy with the service that they provided. "

"The seacoast and Positano is beautiful; the tour vans stop on the way down once for snacks and restroom; and then once along the seacoast for tourists to take pictures. The guide was helpful and very nice, and knowledgable. We spent 2 hours in Positano and went there first. It is a long ride (3.5 hours) but it was worthwhile. The tour of Pompeii was very good, more than I expected. The main con is the vehicle used; the van is air conditioned but it is the size of the utility vans that families are having built out for short vacations. Our van was not crowded but many left seats empty next to themselves and when we got on the only seats left together were at the back of the van, and while those in front of us reclined we could not. While this is beyond the control of the company running the tour, the roads are very bumpy and the driver did not slow down so it was very uncomfortable in that sense as well. "

Amazing experience, it just doesn’t hit you until you actually walk those streets, Pompeii is so powerful and sad. The trek was great but very hot, wear very comfortable shoes as the ground is uneven, I wouldn’t wear sandals. They have sticks to help walk up with, but don’t really Need them. Barbara was our guide and was brilliant, very informative, funny and friendly. The best guide I have ever had. Our driver Antonio was an super driver, getting us easily up those high and tight corners to Vesuvius. Overall recommend this trip highly, so glad we got to do it, despite the burning heat. It is quite the day. Pompeii is very interesting and the guides try to not run into each other too much. Simply brilliant.... We were a little worried about the amount of time traveling but we need not have been. The whole day was a fabulous experience, Pompeii is something I had only ever heard about at school, the scale was breathtaking. Never realised how big it was. The trip to Vesuvius.....another level. The whole trip (21/08/22) was excellent from start to finish and that’s because our host Erika was amazing. We learnt so much information from her and her knowledge was outstanding. Erika’s humour made the trip fun and gave me lots of laughs that helped break the journey up. We felt very welcome and that was so much appreciated. Erika was funny, happy and approachable and the driver Joseph did a super job getting us to our destinations. My only regret was that I had no more small change to give as tips because it was my last day in Rome. I must also add that I did this same trip back in August 2016 and I trust to company to deliver. Thank you Erika for being an excellent guide. Donna

This was a fab trip made even better with our wonderful tour guide Rob and amazing driver Julio. The bus was comfortable and air conditioned. The itinerary was great we stopped at a road side cafe with beautiful pastries and then continued onto Pompeii where we met with our brilliant tour guide Willy ( very funny man) . Rob organised lunch for us and most of the people on the bus for a very cheap price and the food was lovely . Then we drove on to mt Vesuvius . It was a wonderful trip so well organised and easy for us considering we were coming from Rome. Rob was great he was entertaining without being too much in your face. He checked on everyone constantly and gave great tips for restaurants etc around Rome. I would like to have Rob on every excursion. Our driver Julio was excellent he navigated those roads up mt Vesuvius like a true pro.

Our guide on the bus was amazing, checking on everyone, lots of communication, our guide around Pompeii was funny and full of information he really made the day that but more memorable, the hike up Vesuvius was something we will never forget even though walking up in the heat can be a big deterrent keep going it’s worth it when you’re up there and it is possible in the time given! I do not recommend the pizza place for lunch, the staff were rude and the food was not of good quality in my opinion! It’s was burnt and hard! Great tour! It is a long day, with a lot of time spent on the bus but our guide Eriga used the journey to give us some great information about pompei, the various areas we passed and Italy in general. She also knew when to let people relax and sleep. We got a guided tour of pompei, that included ear pieces which was great. We then had lunch which you could get yourselves or join the group for a meal organised by the guide. Finally we did a hike to look at the crater of the volcano. The tour was a large group (full coach) with a mix of solo, couples, and families.

They can use more water buses, especially near the train station. We had to wait a long time and when we did get on one it was so crowded we could barely get off at our stop. After a pleasant walk on the island we took the boat and went to Burano Manola, our super guide, made us visit the island by telling us and showing us a lot of interesting things After circumnavigating the island of Torcello (we chose not to go down) we returned to Venice enjoying the spectacle of the setting sun Beautiful, well organized, highly recommended experience, which we will definitely do again! a special thanks to Manola who made our trip special !!

The trip was in a beautifully restored fishing boat - a picture perfect way to spend several hours exploring the other islands. Watching glass blowing on Murano was fascinating, but you do need to be strong to resist the underlying pressure to spend money in the shop afterwards. Burano with its colourful houses was simply stunning and Torcello was so peaceful, it seemed to offer the perfect escape from the pressures of our busy lives. Our guide was charming and unobtrusive - I would definitely recommend this as a great way of exploring the smaller islands.

The canal tour was great and was a quick way to see the city by boat. Overall, I enjoyed the tour for the views that it provided. However, the logistics of the tour were a nightmare. After purchasing tickets, I was informed that I should go to a meeting spot and that I would be picked up there. The site also stated that a mobile voucher would be okay to use. That was not the case at all. You actually have to go to the ticketing office and show your mobile voucher there. The person working there will then give you a physical voucher and will tell you which boat to board. That was 100% not clear, but the company and workers remained adamant that it was. Because of the confusion, my family and I missed our tour, but luckily we were able to join the next one thanks to a helpful member of the company. So as long as you follow my instructions (and not the instructions on the website / confirmation e-mail) you'll be fine.

It's also nice that the wineries can arrange to ship their products to your home (depends on your home country, though). Couldn't recommend this enough. "

"This was a 5 star plus trip & so well worth the money. The vineyard visits were informative & interesting. The wine, oil & balsamic tasting was wonderful in addition to the tasty lunch. They Tour Guide, Leo was not only a smooth gentle driver on the windy countryside roads but also a constant Sony of interesting information about the wine, the countryside, the local history etc as well as serenading us with his guitar. A fabulous day all round. Thank you "

"Excellent tour visiting 3 wineries in Chianti region, lunch at one. Finding the start point was easy, very well looked after by Lorenzo all day, but not smothered. Max was an excellent driver in a comfortable air conditioned bus. The tours were informative, and well paced. Nice to be able to try their olive oils too. Lunch at Casa Emma was delicious, and they catered for vegetarians, allergies etc. Also had a short stop in Greve in Chianti, enough for a drink and stretch of the legs. An excellent day out. Do it! "We absolutely loved the wineries and our host, Violeta. From both we learned plenty about The Tuscan winemaking process and got to visit different winemakers and taste local food, with plenty of wine provided at each tasting and time to stop in Greve between stops "

"Our guide, Leo, made this trip extra special. His knowledge about history added so much depth to the whole tour. He also sang and played the guitar for us :) very lovely tour. This one tour has made me fall in love with Italy, it’s culture, it’s history, it’s food and ofcourse it’s wine :) "

"Leonardo was amazing! We went to 3 wineries and learned a lot of history along the drive: Fattoria San Michele a Tori (Alicia was a great host), then ate lunch and paired with wines at Casa Emma (Julia was also a great host), had a brief stop at Greve in Chianti for gelato, and finally Poggio Torselli (Matteo was a great host). The views and experience was fantastic! I highly recommend booking this adventure. "

"We loved this tour! The group size was probably around 20 people and it was really fun talking to other couples and friends on their trip as most were in the same age range (20s-30s). Our tour guide Leo made the tour so interesting and made us laugh a lot while also sharing so much of his knowledge of wines and Tuscany. My boyfriend and I agreed this was our favorite part of our Italy trip and we would recommend this tour (and Leo!) to any wine lover. 10/10 "

"Great trip great guide great driver. For us best wine was Casa Emma and the view from the final stop breathtaking definitely one of many highlights. It’s an early start with first wine served around 10/10:30 so would have been nice to get a coffee and croissant at start of day ahead of the wine tasting. Would definitely recommend "

"Great wineries. I feel like the second winery Casa Emma was the best of the bunch. Our tour guide and the driver created a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for the entire tour. The ""special surprise"" at the end was very enjoyable. We had 20 people on the tour and I found that to be a good amount of people. All in all everything was well paced and felt relaxed. Having said all that I feel like the amount of wine we received was a bit too little. "

"An absolutely amazing experience! Went on this wine tour with my mom and sister for my Mom’s 60th birthday! Our tour guide Raffael absolutely made the trip outstanding. He was lots of fun and very knowledgeable! He gave us information about Florence, Tuscany, and the wineries and wine. We went to three different beautiful wineries. Lunch at the second winery was perfect and delicious! The wines were so outstanding that we shipped wine back home to the United States! The stop in Greve was nice and we enjoyed checking out the main town of Chianti. Everyone was so friendly. Our bus ride and driver were great! The scenery at the last winery was absolutely gorgeous. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Highly highly recommend!! "

Elaine was our tour guide and she was hands-down the absolute best! You could tell that she was patient about the art, the museums, the statues, and the history. She absolutely made the tour entertaining, interesting, and even had a few secrets to share. We would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone interested and would DEFINITELY recommend requesting Elaine.

This tour was amazing! Was definitely worth the money. Our guide Carlota was absolutely fantastic. Her knowledge was incredible, her explanations were spot on for people who didn’t have too much knowledge about the Vatican history. She kept it light hearted, added personal touches and kept it relevant to today, and this made it the perfect tour! 100% would recommended this tour to anyone first timers in Rome. We would’ve missed so much if not for this tour!

If you're going to tour the Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's you MUST book this tour! Our guide was Lucia and she was ahhhhhhhmazing! I can't stress how important it is to get THIS tour and go early with the correct guide. If you wait until later in the day, it will be PACKED and you'll feel rushed. There is SO much beauty to explore you'll want to take your time while listening to great information. As a reminder, you'll need to be dressed properly to tour. We didn't have a problem but others did.

Our guide John was excellent. Not only did he give us loads of information and perspective during the tour, he also helped us navigate the crowds and general maze of rooms, which made for a really efficient trip. There is almost too much to see in the museums so having a guide to point out the highlights was great. The tour company was well organised and the group number was around 10 people. I would highly recommend doing the Vatican with a skip the line tour, especially if you want to keep on track of your time while in Rome.

Fantastic experience. The early entrance was well worth it, St Peter’s basilica was magnificent, mass was on at the time, well worth visiting. The museums were really good also. Our guide Elaine was amazing, her knowledge of everything and more was exceptional plus she had an amazing sense of humour. Would highly recommend.

This is an excellent tour! It features the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Elaine, our guide, was very knowledgeable, entertaining, got us around the lines so we could spend the most time possible hearing and seeing about the features and exhibits. She focused on the most historical items in the Museum and told us the history of Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel in great detail. We learned a lot.

Like any guided tour - it’s the quality of the guide that makes or breaks it. We had a wonderful woman who was knowledgeable and relaxed… she coped with my two children really well finding things that would suit them as well as the adults in the group.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and able to share that knowledge with us. He kept the tour moving at a comfortable pace and helped us focus on both the art and when important the buildings as well. We toured multiple museums of the Vatican. He directed us from point to point keeping us together as a group and preparing us for the features coming up next. While waiting outside for the tour to start, he went over a handout on the Sistine Chapel. Detailing the features of the ceiling. Inside the Chapel talking is prohibited and his earlier talk brought a greater understanding and appreciation to what I was seeing.

The meeting instructions were clear and we started right on time. Our guide was Eugenio, he was fantastic so knowledgeable, carismatic and passionate about the Vatican, it’s history and the untold/secret stories behind its wall, it really made this an amazing tour! I strongly recommend it! Thank you Eugenio!

It was amazing to see and connect to all the history that Angelo, our guide, told us about - all the greats in history. I will be back again to do this tour as there is so much to see. I’m glad I did this tour as I learnt a lot and enjoyed it so much. Thank you Angelo

Great tour taking in the highlights of the Vatican. The guide gave good explanations of what he was showing us and ensured that we saw the important artefacts along the way. Also provided material for the Sistine chapel for us to view as he was not able to talk during this section.
