Fairly decent tour with a nice boat ride and glass blowing demonstration and some time to walk round the town's. I think it's good value for money. Burano and Murano are by far the best islands to visit.

The 2 island tour was good for us overall. The boat was nice and allweil organized. We would have enjoyed more time on each island, Murano and Burano, as we had only some 60 minutes available for us on each island. The glass blowing presentation was a disappointment. It only took some 15 minutes and I missed explanations and close up views.

At the beginning everything was ok: the guide, the transportation to Murano. But the visit on the island was too long: exept the factory there is nothing to do there! It's just touristic. Burano is more beautyful. And you can visit more things there, so here the visit was a bit too short! Then we went back to San Marco at about 3. Our guide was'nt there anymore? and we had to manage on our own to find a person who told us we had to wait till 5.30 to have a boat to our starting point??? We had...

The glassware with the blower in Murano... Caught tourists.... It does not even last 5 minutes and the price is 2 crazy more expensive than the small adjacent shops.... Very unfortunate

The glass blowing demo on Murano was enjoyable and the colourful houses on Burano were worth seeing. However, the time spent on the glass show room was too long, and we were only taken to that glass shop on Murano. It would be much better we could take a look at other places and visit other shops on the island.

The boat tour was interesting. The big minus point was that the toilet was locked (supposedly due to technical problems). However, the staff used them without any problems.

The boat was lovely, tour guide was fantastic. Funny and very informative about Venice in general as well as speaking about the islands. Murano glassblowing was very interesting to watch and the island of Burano was our favourite. Beautiful coloured buildings. We took the afternoon tour which meant we ate lunch before and didnt need to spend our touring time just eating in Burano. There were lovely places for a coffee or for lunch, so whatever your preference.

We had a great time watching the glassmaker create a horse before our eyes in Murano. And then we enjoyed watching the lacemaker lady do her part for a tablecloth, I believe. We learned it takes 7 different lacemakers to make the design for the cloth. It was fascinating! Burano is such a quaint beautiful town with lots of nice shops and restaurants. Our tour guide was very informative, too! The boat ride was in a covered boat and our tour guide shared more information about the smaller island...

Our guide Christine, a local, was fantastic. She was professional, clear in her explanations and gave a lot of insider tips. We left at 9.30am and were back by 2.30pm. Approximately 1.5hours per island. I think if you are in Venice for more than 1 day it’s worth checking this out. I enjoyed the glass blowing, the lace making was a bit haphazard.

We thought that we would have the gondola to ourselves, but we shared it with another couple, which wasn't a big deal. But the other couple rushed into the gondola to grab the nice seats closer to the gondolier, so we weren't able to take any pics there. Overall though, I would recommend, but just know that you'll be sharing the gondola ride with up to 5 people max.

You can't see Venice without gondolas. Gondola ride is an absolute must, unbelievable how they push the long boat through the canals with those sticks, without hitting anything. It's a pity that the gondolier didn't tell much and certainly didn't sing O sole mio. A little more enthusiasm there would have been great. And the chance to take a photo with your partner as you board

Unfortunately, it rained on the day the visit was scheduled. However, we were still able to take a gondola ride and it lasted 30 minutes as planned. We were less far than expected because of the weather, but the experience was worth it.

Really special, the whole tour was among the Venetian canals and then flowed into the lagoon! Gondolier affable and skilled at his job, tour actually as described. Really great experience, definitely to be repeated.

Tour guides were informative and spoke many languages! The tour itself is a little underwhelming as (while VERY beautiful) Burano is quite dull. The glass blowing demonstration was great and some gorgeous artwork. Still a very good experience for the price.

The tour was ok, but we had no time to walk along the streets of Murano. The murano factory visit was interesting. We had one hour exactly to visit Burano, but honestly I would have preferred to stay there longer, because the island is great. I knew the trip would last 4,5 to 5 hours, but I did not know the journey at sea would take most of the time. However, it was a pleasant experience. The service of "Il doge di Venezia" was great. The guide was useful. I would visit these islands again.

Very good activity. However, it would be good to leave at least 30 minutes more free time on each island.

The first stop was too short, after the glass demonstration and a little wonder by their shop you have almost no time to explore the place outside!! We did the half day because we couldn't book the full day anymore so this still a good alternative but of you have time go for a full day trip.

Half day in Murano and Burano Departure at 11.00 and return to Venice at 15.30 Very kind guide (Ms. Rossella) and very nice demonstration in the glass factory On the islands you have free time to explore independently

In a month long tour of Europe this was one of the very best things we did, loved it! Boat ride was fab, then Burano so beautiful and Murano glass workshop amazing! Really worth every Euro - thought it would cost a lot, lot more. 10/10

It's a great activity when you don't stay long in Venice. But as it is an activity that I really liked, if I come back, I will spend more time on each island because I find that an hour with everything there is to see. It goes way too fast.

Really nice and iconic excursion when staying in Venice. The Murano tour and demonstration at the glass factory was superb! 1h30 of free time in Burano, a very nice and colorful little fishing island. I advise you to dress well on the boat because it was very very cold (period at the end of February) We do not regret this excursion!

It is a 4-hour tour that allows you to visit Burano and a glass factory in Murano. If you have little time available it is ideal, but if you want to make a more detailed visit, another tour is better.

The departure location was well marked. The instructor spoke clearly, calmly and fluently in several languages (ENG, FR, IT, SP, DEU). The demonstration in the glass factory in Murano was definitely worth it. After the gift shop we didn't have time to explore the island of Murano, but we personally didn't mind. Then, a boat trip to Burano where we were allowed to walk around freely for over an hour. You must have seen this. An hour is enough time to explore the island. We highly recommend thi...

Very worthwhile trip. Small exhibit at the glass blowing factory on Murano and then around an hour on the island. then to Burano where you have 2 hours to explore (get lunch at this point) and this is a perfect amount of time to see the island and it's beautiful colours. Next to Torcello you get around an hour or so, again a perfect amount of time. It isn't massively clear to understand the points of interest that they point out on the boat. For the money you spend it is definitely worthwhile!

The tour was a lot of fun, our guide Julia was well versed and really gave us a lot of information and backstory of the locations we visited. We had an amazing day, so glad that we booked this trip. Great value for money. Murano and Burano were brilliant, there was less to see on Torecello but glad we booked it as we had longer at Burano than those who had just booked the Murano & Burano trip. Watching the glass making in Murano was really interesting too.

Marilyn D.

Murano part was spoiled by being captive in one shop and factory. We would have liked time to walk to all the shops, so the stop should have been another 1/2 hour longer. Technically one could have left the shop but there was no time, and you had to come through the shop again to get back to the boat. The other two islands were superb stops, and perfect as they occurred. Fifteen more minutes on Torello would have been icing on the cake.

Larry

You see the three islands and they leave you time to explore them, personally I didn't pay much attention to the explanations on the boat but I really liked the boat, we left on time and came back sooner because the last island of the three didn't have much to see, something that I appreciate.

Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco. We also visited Torcello, but I think it isn't worth the detour. The time we could spend in Murano and Burano was not enough, it would be better to skip Torcello and lenghten the time in Murano and Burano. Burano is the best spot for gorgeous photos!

Was a beautiful trip! Well worth the money! 3 beautiful islands and a great host who spoke I think up to 5-6 languages! Murano glass experience was amazing! Little tip! Walk out of the shop at the end of the tour and go to the local’s shops, literally 2/3 of what the factory tour is charging! Burano is beautiful! Make sure to visit Bepi’s house and try their biscuits. Torcello is so peaceful and pretty! Also the bell tower you can climb for €5 each! We didn’t realise that until we got there! ...

It's definitely a trip to do. But be on time or 15 mins early at every point! We looked at doing the half day trip but glad we didn't as we got much more time in Burano for a chilled lunch and walk along the island. There wasn't much to do in Torcello, but it does have history, and you can climb the church.

Good price for the itinerary. The islands are beautiful and full of history! People usually skip Torcello, but it is a great mistake! Torcello was one of the highest spots of this tour for me! The only remark goes to the sound system in the intern part of the boat: low level and people talking during the explanations made the listening a hard task for me and my group. Unfortunately we shared the boat with people that does not were properly educated and even interested in the explanations…

The pier was very easy to find as the instructions are so clear. The guides were great, not a lot of information but it was also nice to just sit and enjoy the views from the boat. Murano was great, if you want to shop, there are plenty more glass shops in the town, and it’s much nicer shopping outside. Burano was great and allowed enough free time to have a leisurely lunch and see most of the town. Torcello was beautiful, not as interesting as the others and fewer food options. The only toil...

Excellent boat and heated, friendly and adequate guide available. Beautiful demonstration in Murano, Beautiful Burano, Torcello to see. For the small difference in price, the tour of the three islands is always convenient since it offers more time to visit Burano than it deserves.

The activity was difficult to find because directions were not correct. There was also a hot wait time in the sun and I was also rushed to get on and off the boat because of the long line. It's very good, it's 25 minutes and no one sings hahaha. And you share the gondola with other people, unless you are 4 people in total. It is what it usually costs and since you are going to Venice you should do it. It's very good and I recommend it

The tour has a nice route, it goes through the small channels, it is very organized, in my gondola there were only 4 people. However, as expected, it was very fast (30 minutes) and the gondolier didn't say anything during the tour. Anyway, I recommend it!

It was really very nice, but you have to reckon with the fact that you won't sit alone on the bot, but that's not so bad, you have to see the positive side of it (someone is there to take a picture of you, whoever wants something romantic has to pay more so that there are no others on the same bot

we had a guide keen on history and we were only two people so privileged visit, on the other hand a little light content: a demo in a single glassware (where we spent most of the time visiting the store with the seller on our heels) + visit to the basilica, the rest of the island is apparently not planned in the program (too bad!) .. but very helpful guide in any case (to help us find the right shuttle boat to leave )

Already on the boat trip by taxi to Murano, our guide Giovanna explained a lot of interesting things about Venice and the origin of the glass manufactories. The private tour of the glass factory was very impressive and informative. It was a very nice experience. A must do in Venice. For private gondola rides you'll pay more than double the price for the same duration of time. (30mins). Instead you can share a gondola with max 5 people. You only get a guided audio video, no tour guide (we were told it was because of the weather, it was a rainy day). Which was a bit of a setback cause it is written in the description that you'll get a tour guide explaining some things to you for 20 min before the ride starts. Which did no...

The guide does not go in the gondola giving explanations. At the meeting point, the guide walks with the group to another point where the gondola leaves, and it is in this walking section that he explains a few things about Venice. Once you get on the gondola, the guide is no longer with the group, other than at one point on a dock when the gondola passes by. It is worth it just to save a few euros, as it is more expensive with the gondoliers, on site and at the time.

Excellent day trip. We didn’t sit in the official Bernina Express panoramic train, as advertised. We rode in the regular passenger train, but in a way, this turned out to be better because we were able to pull down the windows and get a real view, smell the air, and take incredible photos without the glare - something we wouldn’t have been able to do on the panoramic train. Entry to the duomo was very easy and straightforward. Our only problem was that it was very busy so, we had to wait in a long line to climb to the top of the cathedral and then once on top we had to wait in a line to climb down. You can definitely spend a few hours at the cathedral and I would recommend the museum on a different day as there is a lot to see there as well.

Beautiful Cathedral, definitely worth visiting. It gets quite crowded during the day, so probably visit early, if you prefer less people. The queue looked way too long but it was moving fast, waited about 15-20 min to get in. More queue on the rooftop tho. But still very nice views and experience.

It is absolutely worth making the trip up the (very) many steps to see Milan from the terraces of the Duomo and the close up level of detail in design. We had also paid for the audio-guide which was worthwhile for added context and explanation as to what we were looking at and the history of the place. I would recommend the lift pass to anyone who would struggle with a steep ascent up lots of steps though!

Our tour guide for Florence was absolutely fantastic! Her knowledge of the city’s history and ability to navigate the crowds made our trip far more memorable than it otherwise would have been. But the best part is that she is a true art historian who brought the paintings in the Uffizi to life!

The cathedral is absolutely amazing and the view that opens in front of your eyes from the roof surpasses any expectation! We visited it inside then we have to go out and look for the lift in the back side of the Dom. In 10 of november it wasn't too crowded, so we didn't have to wait too long.

Cathedral is beautiful and worth going to see. Get there early!!! The lines get very long….. You can only take the elevator up and must walk down the stairs, about ~160 steps, you walk in a line since it is a small space. I did not see any signs to be able to take the elevator down. However, I was shocked that the plastic headphones are simply thrown away after a single use. I’ve visited several churches, cathedrals, etc in my travels and have never seen a structure so massive and ornate. Well worth the visit. Even with the elevator taking you most of the way up, there are additional stairs involved to get to the top, and you’re expected to take the stairs all the way down. Maybe there’s a service elevator somewhere?

Fantastic tour! Alessandra was an amazing guide who kept the whole group engaged and really brought the material to life. She even kept my two children (9 and 11) spellbound for the whole 3 hours! We had only booked a tour as we could not otherwise get tickets for the colosseum but we are so glad that we did the tour instead of by ourselves.

We had Louana (not sure if I've spelt that right). She was lovely and had a good sense of humour. The tour was great - the highlight of my trip to Rome (though the night tour the previous day was fab, too). Lou gave us lots of good info and the handy in-ear earphone was useful because you could hear her clearly and turn her up or down! Fascinating tour - we really enjoyed it. There was a lot of walking, so wear flat comfies!

If you've never done a guided tour before then I highly recommend that this tour be your first. You won't be disappointed. This was my first time and it was absolutely brilliant. This was a fantastic tour! The tour guide (Luanna, from Albania) was extremely knowledgeable about every part of the tour and happy to answer any questions. She started off by introducing herself and a little about her background before asking each member of the group (20 of us), which country we were from and little about us to get to know us. She then referred to each of us personally throughout which made the experience much more enjoyable. Luanna explained everything with memorable storie...

Booked a tour of the coliseum in Rome for 6 of us. Our tour guide was a lady called Alessandra. She was one in of the best tour guides I’ve ever experienced. She is very passionate about the Roman history, so animated, informative and gets everyone involved. We all really enjoyed it. Thank you Alessandra!

Very good guided tour with all the historical information needed. You go to colosseum, then palatin and you finish with the view on roman forum while the history is being expalined by your guide. Next, you are free to roam around roman forum by yourself.

The tour was amazing! Our guide Luene was so knowledgeable and also an amazing and kind person. I'm a solo traveler, and she always asked me if I wanted a picture somewhere. That was an admirable attitude of her. I appreciate it. We visited nice places, just as the description says. No negative points, I love it.

The tour was great. Luana (not sure if I heard that correctly but she also spoke French and German) was an amazing guide. The history she gave in each sites and the stories/myths about Ancient Rome were so fascinating. It was just the right amount of time to explore the sites.

This was our first guided tour experience ever so we were a bit hesitant but it was absolutely worth it. These destinations are so overrun with tourists and so devoid of signage that it felt essential to have someone to help appreciate the ruins. We can't stop talking about all that we saw and will definitely be back!

The elevator process was very easy. You walk up to the access on the left side of the Duomo (if you’re facing it head on) and it’s towards the back. They’ll scan you and search your bags. Masks are required at this time. We arrived at 9:30AM but the crowds were still very busy for this time of day. I wish there were earlier time slots but understand that there may not be any staff working.

Booked this trip as we wanted to experience something different. It’s worth the price and is a unique experience being on the top of a cathedral and have a better look at the architecture. Definitely recommend! Annoying thing is just having to exchange the e tickets for paper one, but luckily there was no queue on the day

Visiting the roof terraces is a great experience that should not be missed. This can also be seen when climbing stairs, because if you run out of breath, you can definitely take a break in between - if there is not too much visitor traffic in the morning or evening hours.

Godiva B.

Line moved quickly at the entrance, going via lift was an excellent choice as it was raining and cold, so climbing stairs would probably be uncomfortable and slippery. View was amazing, so was the architecture. Would recommend! A must see while in Milan.

Pantaleo A.

The architecture and level of detail that the artists printed in the manufacture of the entire ceiling is marvelous. However, there is no one to explain some key or historical points of the place, nor support for people with some movement difficulty, especially considering that the Terraces are full of scaffolding in a sector due to maintenance.

Riccarda R.

Perfect in every way! The wait time for our 10a was about 30 minutes for the elevators. Had we gotten there 5 minutes later we would have had to wait over an hour as the line was LONG. The views from above are fantastic, you can take as long as you want to walk around. There are a few stairs to climb to get up to one level but very manageable. A must see if in Milan

If you don't like stairs or heights, don't book this! Great view from the top, but it is a lot of stairs. There is a different ticket for the same thing with a lift. Some of the roof is being refurbished, so you can't access everything or see in all directions at the moment, but still worthwhile.

Ileana D.

Amazing views and such a lovely place to explore, would definitely visit again if I return to Milan. The stairs were easy enough to walk up too! Not a winding spiral staircase like some places have, and the staircase is one way, with another one to go back down, so you’re not squeezing past people while going up/down!

Delia D.

I'd recommend booking online so you don't have to wait in the queue to buy a ticket. It was quick and easy to enter with a pre-paid ticket. We went up to the terrace of the cathedral via stairs. The stairs are fairly narrow, but definitely manageable. The views from the terrace are priceless!

Amauri L.

Visiting the roof terrace of Milan Cathedral was sensational. With the tickets booked, access (by elevator) was without long waiting times. Although a large number of tourists visited the roof terraces at the same time, there were few delays. The details of the facade and the roof with the numerous ornaments and figures are impressive. The view over Milan is wonderful. Nobody should miss this.

Surano B.

I can really recommend to go to the terraces and see not just the roof from the top of Duomo. Also a small tip - if you don't go back by stairs but the way where the elevator is, it is possible to enter Duomo itself (with no lines and no entrance fee). ;-)

Very nice view and the stairs to the top are also easy to manage. The aisle is a bit cramped though, so not for people with claustrophobia. I recommend visiting very early in the morning, as the terraces are not quite as crowded and you can still take nice photos.

Guide handled the 2 languages with ease - English/Portuguese. Gave each language ample explanation. Never left either group (in my opinion) feeling left out or not taken care of. I liked the fact that he had the English group 'moving' towards' the next room, venue or location while he gave the explanation in Portuguese. Made us feel like we were doing something while he was taking care of the others. Great job.

This was a great way to see 3 “must sees” in Milan if you have limited time! Good but not great. Did not appreciate transporting us to the church to view The Last Supper, which was the final stop, but returning to the pick up site up to us to find our own way back-odd. Excellent knowledgeable guide who spoke each sentence in English, Spanish, Italian. Bring your earbuds or use theirs. Audio quality good except on the top of the bus, where I also would have liked to learn more about the city. Not complaining though—this tour included much info touring La Scala museum and the company in rehearsal. FYI buy a separate ticket to go to the top of the Duomo.

The tour was quick but if you want to see the Duomo (but not the rooftop), the Galleria beside it, the opera house and The Last Supper it is a easy way to do it in a condensed format. The Guide was excellent. She spoke perfect English and had a depth of knowledge and enthusiasm unlike other guides we encountered in Europe. This was an excellent tour - the guide was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. There were 12 people on the tour, all of whom were given listening devices so it was easy to hear the guide as she walked. We are glad we did the tour. We aren’t your people but we learned about things we wouldn’t have and it made entry to all the tourist sites easy especially the last supper. We were given 30 mins at sforza castle to wander, use bathrooms and get drinks which was a nice touch. We especially enjoyed the trip to Siena (fabulous local guide- can’t remember her name) and the lunch at the organic farm. "

"Awesome tour of Siena, San Giminagno & Pisa. Good amount of time in each place. Lunch was great, had pasta, salad & mixed meat platter plus 2 wine tastings and NO sales pitch which was great! Sara, our guide was awesome - informative & entertaining, the driver Emiliano was great, kept the bus very clean! Would definitely recommend & get the lunch option. "

"Best tour I’ve been on, by far. Elizabetta is a rock star!! She was super fun, informative and made the whole experience one to remember. I will be recommending to everyone visiting Florence. Also, if you’re worried about the 12 hours, don’t be, you have a lot of free time to roam/explore/relax. "

"This was a great day trip. It was a bit unfortunate that we didn’t have a lot of time to explore Siena and San Gimignano given we had to leave to see Pisa, where there wasn’t a whole lot to explore. Overall though, it was a wonderful opportunity to see the Tuscany area. "

This trip takes you through a few small canals onto the main canal and then back in. It’s just a small round trip. We booked 45 min but I think it was the same route as 30min. Just slower. No passing of the Rialto bridge in this tour. We paid 175 euro, which is probably way too much. Better ask around when you are there. For a better price and better route.

It was a great evening ride on the gondola! Our gondolier was engaging and did a great job sharing Venice’s history throughout.

The gondola ride was great, it was neither short nor long, so the perfect length. It was easy to find the starting point of the tour. What I liked the least was that the gondolier did not speak at all during the whole trip, neither to explain anything we saw nor to sing something (not all gondoliers sing or explain things to you, but we came across several who did. ). In general, I really enjoyed the experience and if the gondolier had put in a little more than his part it would have been per...

We spontaneously wanted to postpone the trip due to the rain, which we were verbally assured. Due to the high price, we were initially worried that this promise would not be kept and that we would be left without a trip and money. But everything worked out great, including customer service with the hotline. Therefore very satisfied, absolutely serious. Sure, not cheap, but you can definitely treat yourself to a trip to Venice! The driver spoke great English and was very friendly!

It was actually really nice and the host was super friendly but it was a little expensive compared to all other gondola services in Venice

We had booked a gondola ride at 7.30pm only for the two of us. Since we had read in the reviews that the office is not so easy to find, we left earlier. With Googel Maps that was no problem at all. Since it was our turn earlier, the employee asked us if we wanted to drive earlier and where we were we said yes. She wrote a new time on the slip of paper we went to the stop at the Hard Rock Cafe where there was a long line but we were led straight to the next arriving gondola and off we went. It...

We weren't sure about doing this ride but really pleased that we did. We booked and paid for it online earlier in the day (about £100), went to the travel office in Campo san Luca at the allotted time, where we were issued with a voucher which we took to Bacino Orseolo to give to any of the gondoliers there. Three of us enjoyed having a gondola to ourselves (although we probably could have arranged a ride for just 3 of us on the spot earlier in the day at one of the quieter gondola stations),...

This was worth the money paid. We got thirty minutes of tranquil boating through the canals and onto the Grand Canal. A wonderful experience, which would be even better if the price was cheaper!!! :) :) :)

Nice, but our gondolier seemed to be bothered by the fact that he was working and spent most of his time trying to look at his cell phone. Any attempt to try and ask him questions was met with blank stares. Glad I did it, but knowing what I know now wouldn’t be sorry if I missed it. Venice was a dream city to tour for me and what I envisioned was what you see on TV and movies. Reality is not so pretty or attractive up close with all the tourist, crowds, sanitation issues, etc.

Although it was a bit difficult for us to get to the meeting point, there was a guide who later took us to the starting point. The gondolier was very friendly and entertained us with anecdotes and comments about Venice since the gondola was exclusively for the four of us.

The gondola ride itself was fine.. good value for the money. However the gondola ‘driver’ didn’t say a thing.. was on his phone the entire ride and when asked a question he snapped an answer and went back to his phone. We stopped trying to making convo and just chatted with each other. Our friends in another gondola had a very pleasant driver from the same company. So it really depends on who you get. Overall I would recommend.

Good experience on Gondola. 30 mins go by fast for the price paid, it is certainly an expensive ride. Our Gondolier is great, he was very skillfull, going around tight corners in the narrow river lanes. I'd highly recommend this for the beautiful views and experience.

It is the first time that I take this kind of tours and I am delighted with the service. Arriving at the agency we asked for favor if they changed the schedule because it was raining and we did not want to lose the experience of getting on the gondola and the attention was immediate. When we were on our way to the gondola we were given a brief explanation of its origin and the tour was the best, the very friendly gondolier and all the staff, I highly recommend it

Guia was our guide and did a good job of taking us through the highlights of the Vatican Museum. We did the small group tour of 20 people for 2.5 hours and we were able to get a good introduction to the Museum itself, the Western sculptures section, Gallery of Maps and then the Sistine Chapel. Since we had an afternoon tour in July, the museum was packed and extremely crowded in certain sections, but Guila did a good job of finding shade, keeping us engaged and explaining aspects of the Sisti...

This skip the line guided tour was a life saver. There were extremely long lines to first enter the building to purchase tickets. As a group we were ushered through into the main ticketing building where our guide redeemed vouchers for tickets. The guided tour was worth it and you can select the preferred language when booking. We were provided.with an English speaking guide. There were other groups based on language - French, Spanish etc. The vatican museums were amazing! No photos were perm...

All information about time and exact place before start of the activity was very useful and precise. Very good guide. But be aware that it will be very crowdy ! The guided groups compete with every one else, good though to get rid of the ticket queues.

I booked a guided tour in Vatican, with my two children. The experience was really amazing! Our guide Antonio was such an informative, professional, kind and with a great sense of humour man. His knowledge about art was very impressed. We were really lucky to have him as our guide to our first visit in Vatican. Thank you!

Our tour guide was excellent, but the tour started late in part because we had to wait for microphones --which never came. So we waited in line to pick them up in the Vatican Museum. Consequently by the time we got to the Sistine Chapel is was pretty well packed. Perhaps that is typical for that time of day, but I didn't feel it was worth the extra money for early-bird entrance. Having said that, I want to say again that or guide was excellent.

Definitely do the Vatican at least once with a guide. Our guide was a wonderful well travelled lady originally from Austria who knew so much about the Vatican and Italy (unfortunately I can remember her name, so sorry) by far the best guide we've had on our Italy trip

Our guide, Frederico, was great. Very knowledgeable & despite having done the tour numerous times was still very enthusiastic about the Vatican & Sistine Chapel. We were in a small group of 9 so it was easy to follow the guide. The earpiece we each used enabled us to hear everything Frederico said. The only downside (& this is something out of the control of the tour co.) was the crowds, but apparently we were there in a quiet day. I would hate to be there when it’s busy!

Together with the Colosseum this was top of our ‘must do’ list on our first visit to Rome. It was a truly fascinating visit experience and one not to be missed. Our tour guide - Juliano - was as enthusiastic as he was knowledgeable and was engaging from start to finish. The Bluetooth kit used performed perfectly. If you’ve visited Rome without making this trip you have missed out on a gem.

The tour start point was easy to find and the overall check in process was easy. Guide was very knowledgeable and great at checking in on the group to make sure we stayed together at all times. The Vatican & Sistine Chapel is a must do when in Rome so overall worth the time and money.

Very experienced guide. He did everything right. No more, no less. Very warm and positive. In a big crowd, he fought for the best positions, communicated with other guides when necessary, as well as with many guards in the museum. All for the purpose of our group. He made sure that we were always in the shade when we listened to him outside, and he made sure that we avoided the stairs, passing through the fenced corridors. For me, expectations are met, when you get what the agency offered you...

It was a wonderful and very enjoyable tour. The three hours ended before we could realise it. Our guide took us to Sistine Chapel at the end, giving us a long time to spend there. Though she let us at the end of three hours, we spent another hour there.
