A great way to get around although if seated the windows are filthy so you can’t enjoy the views.

I liked being able to get off the train and going right to the kiosk to get my tickets. There was a line for vaporetto tickets. It would have been cheaper to buy in person if I'd been willing to wait in line.

Karen

They can use more water buses, especially near the train station. We had to wait a long time and when we did get on one it was so crowded we could barely get off at our stop. You need to pay attention because they don't always announce the stops and when they do stop, it is not for a very long time.

Morgan M.

Very easy to get on and off. The instructions to pick up the tickets at the kiosk could be a little more clear. There is 2 bus stations at the train stop without kiosks prior to finding the third station which had the pickup kiosks. Learning the lines was a bit confusing as well, a bus guide would have helped.

"Easy to activate and easy to use to get around in Venice, we even used it to go to Burano for the day. "

I bought the 24hr pass on the morning before going to the ticket machine and printing off. When boarding the bus I did wonder how it was supposed to scan but even though it was a paper copy this was no problem. I utilised the pass heavily to go to lido, burrano and murano before coming back into Venice and using there also. So worth it for the money and would defo recommend to people to use it. Easy simple and value for money

These were excellent value especially as staying on mestre, we used the bus to get in and out every day and the water bus to visit the islands and make our way round when our legs got tired !

Paying a single cost and knowing you would have unlimited use provided peace of mind for a first time solo traveller to Venice.

It was a great help as I am partially disabled and use two sticks to get around. Walking the length and breadth of Venice and enjoying the city would have been impossible without the pass.

really useful getting a 7 day pass for the waterbus, we hopped on and off many times each day and got to see most of venice. we even managed trips to merano and burano islands using the pass. strongly recommend this.

Great price for parking and trip to & from Venice. Boat was very full so a little crammed in (and 37 degrees so not ideal!) Would be better to have clearer info on which toilets you can use - but there are some 5 mins from the booking office. Would definitely use again if going to Venice.

Super easy to use - we had a great day on the water exploring the islands! Would highly recommend.

It was a very pleasant shared gondola ride. Be warned in case you only want to go with your partner, each gondola has 4 people. The tour guide provided a short history of the gondola in English and Spanish on the walk to the gondola. The meeting point is right off of St Mark's Square and is in a convenient location for the average traveler who is already in the area.

Overall very good. A bit chaotic when the guide was trying to organise a group of about 50 people onto the gondolas though.

Unfortunately, it rained on the day the visit was scheduled. However, we were still able to take a gondola ride and it lasted 30 minutes as planned. We were less far than expected because of the weather, but the experience was worth it.

15minutes queuing before getting into Gondola but still got 30 minutes on the boat so it was good.

You can't see Venice without gondolas. Gondola ride is an absolute must, unbelievable how they push the long boat through the canals with those sticks, without hitting anything. It's a pity that the gondolier didn't tell much and certainly didn't sing O sole mio. A little more enthusiasm there would have been great. And the chance to take a photo with your partner as you board

Brilliant value for money lovely chatty informative Gondolier who even gave us a song. Sailed around the tranquil side canals and the Grand Canal for half hour. Would highly recommend. 👍👏🏻

Really special, the whole tour was among the Venetian canals and then flowed into the lagoon! Gondolier affable and skilled at his job, tour actually as described. Really great experience, definitely to be repeated.

This excursion was fabulous. Nicole our guide was very polite, communicated well during the walking part of our tour and gave clear instructions throughout. The Gondola ride was peaceful, calming and picturesque. A definite recommendation if in Venice a must in fact.

We thought that we would have the gondola to ourselves, but we shared it with another couple, which wasn't a big deal. But the other couple rushed into the gondola to grab the nice seats closer to the gondolier, so we weren't able to take any pics there. Overall though, I would recommend, but just know that you'll be sharing the gondola ride with up to 5 people max.

Good tour to go to the gondola. This way it is cheaper and you get a small guided tour of Venice. The gondola experience is something that must be done yes or yes.

Vinfrido A.

We had a lot of fun with the tour. The staff welcomed us very friendly. First we walked through the city for about 20 minutes and our guide Ricardo told us about his city of Venice with infectious enthusiasm. The city tour was very cool, but could have been longer. The focus of this tour is of course clearly on the gondola ride. It was really great too.

Friendly, informative guides who give brief history of how Venice was built. You’ll learn how the Gondolas remain in the family and how the Gondoliers respect one another and work together to keep your ride safe and enjoyable. Highly recommend this Tour. Ezra, our Guide, was GREAT. Many thanks mille grazzi

Punctual and precise. It was easy to find the kiosk. For the explanations in Spanish, they gave us an application that we downloaded on the phone and that worked very well, although I would have liked more if the guide spoke to us in Spanish; either way we really enjoyed the ride

Tour guides were informative and spoke many languages! The tour itself is a little underwhelming as (while VERY beautiful) Burano is quite dull. The glass blowing demonstration was great and some gorgeous artwork. Still a very good experience for the price.

Rio K.

The weather was awsome, so the trip was great. The kids (8-13 years) loved it-especially the glass factory presentation and the things at the store were really beautiful, too. So I would recomend it to the tourists with kids. The Burano island was beautiful. We also managed to get some pizza (even glutenfree) there, which was delicious and inexpensive.

It's a great activity when you don't stay long in Venice. But as it is an activity that I really liked, if I come back, I will spend more time on each island because I find that an hour with everything there is to see. It goes way too fast.

Thomas B.

The price is quite good compared to other options, however it is a little tedious having to listen to the guide repeat the same information in 5 different languages, because there comes a time when he is talking about monuments or places that are no longer in sight While the boat is moving, it would be preferable to book something smaller with the preferred language. Aside from that, the overall experience is good and the guide is very helpful and friendly.

Edwin T.

The tour was ok, but we had no time to walk along the streets of Murano. The murano factory visit was interesting. We had one hour exactly to visit Burano, but honestly I would have preferred to stay there longer, because the island is great. I knew the trip would last 4,5 to 5 hours, but I did not know the journey at sea would take most of the time. However, it was a pleasant experience. The service of "Il doge di Venezia" was great. The guide was useful. I would visit these islands again.

Faye S.

It is a 4-hour tour that allows you to visit Burano and a glass factory in Murano. If you have little time available it is ideal, but if you want to make a more detailed visit, another tour is better.

Albi H.

Lovely day out, glass demonstration was really interesting and there were so many lovely items to buy there. The island of Burano was beautiful too.

Really nice and iconic excursion when staying in Venice. The Murano tour and demonstration at the glass factory was superb! 1h30 of free time in Burano, a very nice and colorful little fishing island. I advise you to dress well on the boat because it was very very cold (period at the end of February) We do not regret this excursion!

Jorge

Everything was good! Murano good experience but the glass show is too touristic targeted. Burano very nice with great restaurants, but 1 hour is not enough for a normal lunch. We had to run to the boat. Left us at 1:30 at the shore and pick up time was 2:30. 45 minutes more would’ve been perfect. The tour guide amazing!

Zosima S.

The departure location was well marked. The instructor spoke clearly, calmly and fluently in several languages (ENG, FR, IT, SP, DEU). The demonstration in the glass factory in Murano was definitely worth it. After the gift shop we didn't have time to explore the island of Murano, but we personally didn't mind. Then, a boat trip to Burano where we were allowed to walk around freely for over an hour. You must have seen this. An hour is enough time to explore the island. We highly recommend this activity!!

Elliot F.

Boat on time and easy to find guide. View from boat to islands was beautiful and guide was very informative. The glass products (and demonstration) at Murano was mind blowing. Definitely buy there as it is cheaper than in Venice. Burano is also beautiful. Would have loved to spent more time there, but a wonderful trip to see the two islands.

Visited Venice solely with the intention of a gondola ride. It was a solo trip so I was happy to find an option of a shared ride to make it much more affordable. The guide as great and we spent the majority of the ride down the smaller side canals off the grand canal. 100% would recommend.

The view is incredible. Th gondola itself was nice. The gentleman maneuvering the gondola was nice but did not speak much besides telling us his name. Next time I would opt for a gondola ride that specifically states conversation or music or at least pointing things out is included.

Although it was a bit difficult for us to get to the meeting point, there was a guide who later took us to the starting point. The gondolier was very friendly and entertained us with anecdotes and comments about Venice since the gondola was exclusively for the four of us.

Good experience on Gondola. 30 mins go by fast for the price paid, it is certainly an expensive ride. Our Gondolier is great, he was very skillfull, going around tight corners in the narrow river lanes. I'd highly recommend this for the beautiful views and experience.

We weren't sure about doing this ride but really pleased that we did. We booked and paid for it online earlier in the day (about £100), went to the travel office in Campo san Luca at the allotted time, where we were issued with a voucher which we took to Bacino Orseolo to give to any of the gondoliers there. Three of us enjoyed having a gondola to ourselves (although we probably could have arranged a ride for just 3 of us on the spot earlier in the day at one of the quieter gondola stations), and booked for 6pm so we enjoyed sunset on the Grand Canal. The gondolier hardly spoke to us but that was fine, we just enjoyed the sights from the water.

Very smooth system. They also kept our baby strollers at safe place and returned us back at the end of the ride.

Mereit

the ride itself was excellent, however the driver spent the entire trip on the phone, talking to us very little. Also the "Meeting place" is the tour company office which was a 15 minute walk from the actual launch and you have to exchange your voucher for one of theirs. Luckily we stopped by 2 hours early to be sure we were at the right place.

Giustiniano F.

It was very nice that we were able to schedule a ride in advance but if you are traveling to Venice at a slower time, I would just recommend finding a gondolier while you are walking around

Mark

This was worth the money paid. We got thirty minutes of tranquil boating through the canals and onto the Grand Canal. A wonderful experience, which would be even better if the price was cheaper!!! :) :) :)

Fynn

It’s not worth it to pay online, you find loads of gondoliers that are free to take you on the spot. We paid more than £100 for an evening ride and after we booked it we were walking and as the gondoliers are trying to attract you, we found one and his price was 80€ on the board but he said he can make a 20€ discount cause that was his last ride. That would have been half of what we paid online, but I couldn’t cancel anymore the reservation unfortunately…

Nice, but our gondolier seemed to be bothered by the fact that he was working and spent most of his time trying to look at his cell phone. Any attempt to try and ask him questions was met with blank stares. Glad I did it, but knowing what I know now wouldn’t be sorry if I missed it. Venice was a dream city to tour for me and what I envisioned was what you see on TV and movies. Reality is not so pretty or attractive up close with all the tourist, crowds, sanitation issues, etc.

Everything went well from departure to return and our guide was great. A very good guide who has a very good command of the history of these islands and who manages to switch between English, French and Italian. He was great, we loved our excursion.

Larry

You see the three islands and they leave you time to explore them, personally I didn't pay much attention to the explanations on the boat but I really liked the boat, we left on time and came back sooner because the last island of the three didn't have much to see, something that I appreciate.

Lucy

Was a beautiful trip! Well worth the money! 3 beautiful islands and a great host who spoke I think up to 5-6 languages! Murano glass experience was amazing! Little tip! Walk out of the shop at the end of the tour and go to the local’s shops, literally 2/3 of what the factory tour is charging! Burano is beautiful! Make sure to visit Bepi’s house and try their biscuits. Torcello is so peaceful and pretty! Also the bell tower you can climb for €5 each! We didn’t realise that until we got there! The sights were gorgeous!

Adam

Good price for the itinerary. The islands are beautiful and full of history! People usually skip Torcello, but it is a great mistake! Torcello was one of the highest spots of this tour for me! The only remark goes to the sound system in the intern part of the boat: low level and people talking during the explanations made the listening a hard task for me and my group. Unfortunately we shared the boat with people that does not were properly educated and even interested in the explanations…

Marilyn D.

Murano part was spoiled by being captive in one shop and factory. We would have liked time to walk to all the shops, so the stop should have been another 1/2 hour longer. Technically one could have left the shop but there was no time, and you had to come through the shop again to get back to the boat. The other two islands were superb stops, and perfect as they occurred. Fifteen more minutes on Torello would have been icing on the cake.

Eric

Excellent boat and heated, friendly and adequate guide available. Beautiful demonstration in Murano, Beautiful Burano, Torcello to see. For the small difference in price, the tour of the three islands is always convenient since it offers more time to visit Burano than it deserves.

Emmaline A.

it was perfect! the times on each island were sufficient. only downside, the guide on the way back was not the same...very strange way of speaking and we didn't understand anything. the 3 islands are superb with a favorite for Burano and its colors! You have to climb to the top of the Torcello campanile, the view is magnificent

The tour was a lot of fun, our guide Julia was well versed and really gave us a lot of information and backstory of the locations we visited. The island were absolutely beautiful and the ride to each place was really comfortable too. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend to everyone that thinks of doing this tour!

We had an amazing day, so glad that we booked this trip. Great value for money. Murano and Burano were brilliant, there was less to see on Torecello but glad we booked it as we had longer at Burano than those who had just booked the Murano & Burano trip. Watching the glass making in Murano was really interesting too.

Gloria

Very worthwhile trip. Small exhibit at the glass blowing factory on Murano and then around an hour on the island. then to Burano where you have 2 hours to explore (get lunch at this point) and this is a perfect amount of time to see the island and it's beautiful colours. Next to Torcello you get around an hour or so, again a perfect amount of time. It isn't massively clear to understand the points of interest that they point out on the boat. For the money you spend it is definitely worthwhile!

Jesse

It's definitely a trip to do. But be on time or 15 mins early at every point! We looked at doing the half day trip but glad we didn't as we got much more time in Burano for a chilled lunch and walk along the island. There wasn't much to do in Torcello, but it does have history, and you can climb the church.

Christine

The pier was very easy to find as the instructions are so clear. The guides were great, not a lot of information but it was also nice to just sit and enjoy the views from the boat. Murano was great, if you want to shop, there are plenty more glass shops in the town, and it’s much nicer shopping outside. Burano was great and allowed enough free time to have a leisurely lunch and see most of the town. Torcello was beautiful, not as interesting as the others and fewer food options. The only toilet was a paid one. The tour was the perfect pace for the day, a good mix of structure and free time. Between each island was about a 30 min trip, allowing time to rest your legs and and hour back to the main island to rest before walking home. Great tour and highly recommend.

We had a delightful ride with Diario. He was so proud of his family’s legacy and we were excited to hear the details of his fathers work. We rode in his family’s 32 year old gondola and he even pointed out his fathers home. It was fun to hear the gondoliers banter while riding the canal. It’s a very quick ride under the bridge of sighs and back again. Time flies when you’re having fun!

We had a very enjoyable gondola ride (one and only as newlyWeds) with our guide. Luckily the weather was perfect and the guide told us interesting facts about the different historically significant buildings along the canal as we passed them. The trip felt like the perfect amount of time for a short afternoon activity after we toured the Basilica and Palace all morning.

I’ve traveled a lot, but never really used a guided tour like this one. What an amazing experience Anthony provided for us! Engaging stories, excellent driving, extreme patience, and outstanding wit made our tour an easy way to experience the Scottish Highlands in just a few days. The trip was well-planned in the number, type, and activities available at each site. Loads of fun and even great back up plans when traffic issues required a detour on the third day. we had a guide keen on history and we were only two people so privileged visit, on the other hand a little light content: a demo in a single glassware (where we spent most of the time visiting the store with the seller on our heels) + visit to the basilica, the rest of the island is apparently not planned in the program (too bad!) .. but very helpful guide in any case (to help us find the right shuttle boat to leave )

Already on the boat trip by taxi to Murano, our guide Giovanna explained a lot of interesting things about Venice and the origin of the glass manufactories. The private tour of the glass factory was very impressive and informative. Due to the special Corona situation, the four of us were the only guests, which meant that we were looked after extremely courteously and personally. The subsequent stroll with Giovanna through Murano with a visit to two churches in which pictures by old masters were hidden on the walls, the onset of flooding due to the tide and the many stories that Giovanna knew to tell us about Murano and Venice rounded off our private tour away. A very successful trip!

We chose a private tour with a guide to the island of Murano, and it was a very pleasant experience, a far cry from group tours. Our guide took the time to tell us about the history of Venice and we visited places far from the tourist crowds. We stayed in Venice for four days, and this outing was by far the best. Grazie mille!

Overall we really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. The boat ride on Lake Como was great; fun to see all the houses and learn about the lake. St. Moritz was cool, the only downside is we were there around 1pm and most of the shops were closed for their lunch time break. The train ride was cool, it’s not the official train but you can open the windows so you can take better pictures. The tour guide highlighted any significant thing we went past. Would recommend this tour if your want to see some sights outside of Milan.

It was a very smooth and seamless tour! The travel via bus was very safe and comfortable. The Lake como boat ride was very beautiful. The St.Moritz and Bernina Express was stunning! Great experience. Few tips. -Opt for the left hand side of the boat out the back for best views and photo opportunities. -on the red train, you can see if the carriages behind have less passengers-again easier to take pictures etc. Great tour, no up selling etc

We enjoyed a wonderful day visiting Lake Como and St Moritz on this group tour. It started with a few of us finding our way to the meeting spot and checking with one another to see if we were in the right place ... which we were. Once the tour started we quickly found our tour leader to be very experienced and informative in multiple languages of course. The were so many highlights and beautiful scenic panoramas along the way so collected lots of snaps to choose best ones for posts. The lake trip was a highlight not only for the scenery but some of the majestic if not historic homes of the rich and famous. The train ride over the mountains was something special. Special mention was the lunch we almost had in St Moritz when we ran out of time to wait for our meal. The waitress was not happy, but the train waits for no one! Thoroughly recommend this tour.

Excellent day trip. We didn’t sit in the official Bernina Express panoramic train, as advertised. We rode in the regular passenger train, but in a way, this turned out to be better because we were able to pull down the windows and get a real view, smell the air, and take incredible photos without the glare - something we wouldn’t have been able to do on the panoramic train. The views were spectacular and our guide was excellent - incredibly knowledgeable and humorous. The bus driver was also very skillful and cautious as he drove us down a precarious and very narrow winding road down the mountain from St. Moritz. Bring a light jacket and light sweater, as it gets chilly up in the mountains. Highly recommend!

Excellent. Even though it was raining in Como the view was spectacular. Driving through the Morjola pass was extremely scary but one of the most beautiful and scenic experience. The stop in St Moritz was a good break. I had one of the most delicious tasting hot chocolate ever and I regret not buying two of the pastries. The Bernina Express train through the Swiss Alps was everything and thanks to Andre who provided the background and history throughout the entire trip. Highly recommended.

The overall package was a good experience. Make sure to pack a snack if you aren't able to get breakfast before leaving; there is several hours before you stop for a meal break. A lot of time on the bus but the train ride back from St Moritz is beautiful.

The weather forecast was rain and we could have been warned to bring raincoats or water repellent shoes. Most of us had clothes and shoes that got wet. I managed to buy a small umbrella from a hawker, but still got wet as it was windy. I was looking forward to a hot drink but cafe was closed. You can imagine reaching very cold St Moritz with damp trousers and wet shoes. We could have been warned on email before the trip to be prepared in case of rain as it was a long walk from the bus to the boat. Tourist guide did not manage our expectations. Also the tourist guide’s English was incomprehensible and vocabulary limited. She would say something in English and switch immediately to Spanish where she was more comfortable in. You could tell she was struggling. Not enough knowledge so we missed out a lot of important facts and info. The radio to listen to her was not working.

The trip was Amazing!! The guide sara was professional, knowledgeable and a nice person. The trip started in Lake Como then we took a boat to verena and then by bus to st Mortiz in Swizerland where we took the red train where we saw a really beautiful views that felt unreal.

What an experience! This trip is our something special to remember from our visit to N. Italy! The lake cruise was so beautiful, the trip from Como to St. Moritz by bus was so thrilling, the St. Moritz views are breathtaking, and of course the Bernina train experience just WOW. 100% recommended. Special thanks to Giada, our guide, who is such a sweet person, for giving us every little detail to make this experience even more unique! And hats off to Santo, our driver, who made 6+ hours on the bus feel like nothing.

The trip was amazing & our guide was brilliant - really informative. The only minus I would say is that the bus did not have a toilet on, I think that when you are spending roughly 6 hours on a bus - it really should have a toilet, other than that - Brilliant trip .

Amazing experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone planning on going. We were told the bus would collect us from the given location at 7:15 and we were told to get there at 7:00 The bus came about 5 min late which made my family doubt the company being legit. Once we got on the bus we were greeted by our tour guide sara who was very welcoming. She helped us with multiple things throughout the journey. It was around 13 hours long and we enjoyed every moment of it. The views of the alps were simply stunning, lake como also stunned us all. The food was amazing in St moritz And the chocolates were to die for. The tour guide had provided us with all the information regarding the food at the stops. Honestly sara was the best tour guide we could’ve asked for. Overall it was a 5 star experience

We booked 2 mo in advance for a 12:55 tour. A few days before, we were contacted asking us if we could move to 11 am - presumably consolidating 2 tours. That was fine, but be aware they might change on you, so you need to provide contact information on a device you’ll have turned on (we’re from USA so my phone was off, my husband’s was on). We booked a 10 person or less (and paid extra) but there were 14 on the tour. The public lines were long, and this tour doesn’t skip most of them - due to All Saints Day and the holiday. When you plan, don’t go on a holiday!! To the tour: we had Laura who was a native Roman & she was fantastic!! Our tour was in English and she had a great Roman history background, told info from a native POV, & great command of the English language. We would’ve never known what we were looking at & the historical significance of the Roman Forum or Colosseum without her!!! She kept the tour moving, showed relevant and interesting points, & was very personable.

Laura L. Was great! Super knowledgeable, nice and funny. She related history to current times. She made everything easy to understand and had great photos to share of what the original buildings looked like. She kept if fresh and friendly while keeping historical accuracy at the forefront. She helped us navigate to the lift so we could get to the top floor of the Colloseo. And she told us the actual name of the building!

Our guide Maria was amazing, She went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Very funny and knowledgeable and got the information across while keeping you interested. Ocassionally the headset we used wasnt clear or cut out but that could just be due to the distance where the group got briefly split in crowds

Our guide was Lorenzo, very knowledgeable guide, took us almost 4 hours on his wonderful tour around archeology area, palatine hill and colosseum. This was perfect tour to meet and understand this part of Rome and get to know a lot about history. Highly recommended for visitors

We found the whole experience very pleasant. The meeting point was convenient and easy to find. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. We preferred the Colosseum part of the experience more than the forum part but that was just personal preference and why we had booked the tour in the first place. We learned some things we'd never known before and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

Sonya was a great tour guide. We were surprised by the amount of knowledge she shared about the colosseum, forum and Palentine hill. The tour started at the lower subway station and ended on top of the palentine hill. The colosseum is a busy place and with the small group we were able to circle around and see photos and other documents that showed the area in its height.

The tour and guide were great and entertaining. The guide had a good knowledge of the three areas and helped us to avoid the crowds. The tour included the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and ended in the Forum, quite a bit of walking but it was interesting and well presented. The guide stopped us regularly to suggest photograph locations and for water stops... which was helpful.

It was a good tour, but it's really not just a Colloseum tour. Was more like an hour on Palatine Hill, an hour at the Forum and 30 minutes at the Colloseum - partly due to issues with security for one of the group. We did end in the Colosseum though and could stay as long as we wanted afterwards. Having done Pompeii the week before with an archaeologist guide, we had a good understanding of Roman times which was useful. Being in Rome itself is overwhelming so it's nice to just follow a guide a round and look at a few bits and get some chat. No idea how much queue time we saved by using the group fast track - groups enter at a different gate than non-groups and we never saw the queue on the other side. It was all efficient and quick for the tours though - but don't bring a scooter for your kid as it won't get in!

Fantastic, friendly and knowledgable tour guide called Laura Antonucc! She was engaging, entertaining yet highly informative and captivating. We got through security swiftly and missed the queues. They meet you at bottom of the Arc de Constantine. Would highly recommend!

Thoroughly enjoyable tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. Tour guide was knowledgeable but struggled to answer any questions which were additional to her tour information. Thank God for Google. Roman forum was lovely. Just a shame that once the tour was finished and we were left to explore the Roman Forum by ourselves, the place was closing. So we had to exit with loads still to see. Never the less I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and well worth the ticket price.

Loved this tour, our guide Francesco was very knowledgable and friendly, he gave us a good overview of the history of the colosseum, the forum and the politics of ancient Rome without leaving us overloaded with information. Joining instructions were simple and it was well organised. Only downside was the tour size of 10 was exceeded (13 were on the tour rather then the 10 advertised), and the guides were freelancers rather then employees of the company. We still had a wonderful time and would do this tour again!

This was an excellent tour - the guide was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. There were 12 people on the tour, all of whom were given listening devices so it was easy to hear the guide as she walked. The tour was about three and a half hours, including ample time inside the duomo and the maximum allowed (15 minutes) viewing the Last Supper. I'm very glad that I chose this tour.

Marikha was an excellent tour guide. She knows so much about the history of Milan and is so passionate. I loved how she turned us all in the characters to help us u d’état and the history of the castle we visited. Even my teenage boys enjoyed it. The Last Supper is a must see and we took a stroll through many major sites in Milan. One of the best tours we did during our time in Italy.

We had the best day and tour of the beautiful city of Milan with Simon as our guide. It was one of the highlights of our Italy trip, and a memory we will never forget. Thank you Simon for sharing your expertise with us!

Fantastic tour, definitely worth taking. Elisa, our tour guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable on all things related to the Duomo, Galleria, Sforza Castle and finally the Last Supper which her detailed explanation given of DaVinci’s thought process and execution was really the icing on the cake. Well worth the expense. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to walk for the approximate 3 hrs as you traverse Milan.

We met Simone, our Guide fifteen minutes before the tour started and we were handed our audio guides. A couple of people were late and Simone waited a few minutes after the starting time to see if they would arrive before we set off. It was a great tour and we saw all the major sights of Milan with the highlight of seeing The Last Supper at the end. Everything was incredible and despite the busyness of the City Simone looked out for everyone and adjusted things slightly to accommodate a few, who wished for a break. He was so knowledgeable, informative and enthusiastic. We couldn't have imagined a better Guide and would like to thank him for providing us with a wonderful morning in central Milan.

We had an amazing time! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and gave great insight into the historical part of Milan, as well as the modern day life of locals. We were lucky to be the only people in the group and it turned out to be a VIP tour. Our guide even explained us the little details about certain palazzos and construction of the city. I would recommend anyone who is visiting Milan to even take this tour twice!

Meeting point was easy to find, the guide was on time and very knowledgeable. The only thing I would remind people who sign up to go to the bathroom and have their shoulders covered before coming to the meeting: we wasted some time for people having to go and buy shawls and having to go to the bathroom on the way.

We are glad we did the tour. We aren’t your people but we learned about things we wouldn’t have and it made entry to all the tourist sites easy especially the last supper. We were given 30 mins at sforza castle to wander, use bathrooms and get drinks which was a nice touch. I was worried about the group tour but it wasn’t a large group (10 people) and everyone was very respectful of each other’s space, etc.

The Guide was excellent. She spoke perfect English and had a depth of knowledge and enthusiasm unlike other guides we encountered in Europe. The only minor issue was, no one in the group knew the tour would last 4 hours. I thought we were going into the Duomo then to see the Last Supper. Of the 4 hours, 3 hours spent walking and walking, and walking, from The Duomo through the entire arts district (and not stopping to see anything). After 3.5 the group finally got to the beautiful painting which made the grueling 93 degree heat, walking about 5+ miles worth it.

Franko our guide was friendly and informative. Very good manner. Disappointing that our “ English” spoken tour that i choose ended up being combined with a Spanish speaking tour. It meant that the guide has to be economical with information to then be able to say the same in Spanish. Not ok. I did receive Email the day before informing me that it might happen…. But it shouldn’t happen.

It's really worth the money! We never do guided tours since we prefer to have full control of our touristic schedules. That's why we wanted to plan this trip by our own, but decided to try the tour thanks to some reviews here. It was surprising to realize during the tour how difficult it could had been to recreate the same experience by our own. Specially because of the transportation logistics. The tour helps you seize the time way much better, since it's personalized and private. The only thing we didn't love was the time spent at Como. Even though we visited an important building, the free time there was basically worth it only if you wanted to do shopping. We would had deeply preferred to spend more time at Varenna, since we got there at lunch time and had to spent almost the entire free time at a restaurant. This was due to a logistic change: the tour was supposed to visit Como first, but in our experience we traveled in the opposite order, arriving Varenna first and Como last.

We had a very good experience, everything went smoothly. The guide was brilliant, she had stories to tell about every part of the journey, both historical details and more pop stuff - eg G Clooney villa etc. She spoke in English and Spanish and gave clear instructions on when/where to meet. Also suggested where to eat etc. The driver was excellent too, plus comfy coach. And the places themselves - the Lake, the villages, Como - all lovely. Would recommend!

This is a perfect day trip. Straight to the point and deliver what we are here to experience: 3 unique small towns and a short sightseeing in boating trip. The weather was a bit gloomy and lots of rain, but otherwise it was short, sweet, and efficient. Our tour guide and driver were excellent. Small tips, don't forget to spare cash to tip the staffs (if you want). Digital tipping is not yet accepted.

This trip was fantastic. Our guide, an older Italian gentleman, whom I cannot remember his name now, with a dry sense of humor that I appreciated, did a great job switching between English and Spanish throughout the day. Our driver, Lucca, was also terrific and I applaud his skill in maneuvering on some of the windy, narrow roads. Each town was unique and enjoyable to walk around and explore. Have a cappuccino and pastry in Como, lunch in Bellagio, and cafe & gelato in Varenna. Grazie mille for the tours and wonderful memories!

It's hard to find a boat or ferry to move around Lake Como during winter. This day tour provides the private ferry service to cater to winter season. My guide, Franco, was good in explaining the various attractions. It was an enjoyable trip cover Como, Bellagio & Varenna from 8.45am to 6.15pm.

I really enjoyed this tour. The guide was friendly and knowledge and the coach was comfortable and clean although the WiFi wasn’t working that day. The boat rides on Lake Como were my favorite part.

This was a fantastic tour. The itinerary was excellent. We saw so much of Lake Como, more than anticipated. The stop in Como was wonderful because despite being fall/winter it was a lively place with lots of open stores. The drive around the lake was fantastic and filled with lots of informative details, including a view of George Clooney's house from the road! The boat ride was also awesome where we saw lots of famous and beautiful villas. Bellagio and Varenna were beautiful and worthy stops despite many stores being closed for the season. Claudia was an excellent tour guide who not only provided seamless sightseeing information for Lake Como in both English and Spanish, but also a lot of great information for Milan. Giorgio was a great driver and ensured we got to/from our destinations safely. This was a highlight of our time in Milan and Europe. Will definitely want to return to Lake Como for a longer trip thanks to this visit. Highly recommend!

The overall trip was really good - included a boat ride across Lake Como and the bus was good too. Our guide was an elder gentleman whose name I can't recall unfortunately but he was just awesome. He gave us good facts and was approachable for any information and presented well. The improvement area could be on the time allocation. The stop for lunch was at Bellagio where most of our time was spent just having lunch because of the crowds and wait time. If we had 30 mins more would have been perfect. While reducing some time at the last stop Como would have balanced this out. Not too much walking was involved but would still recommend wearing comfortable shoes as some areas are a bit steep.

The educational visit on the manual processing of glass in artisan ovens is interesting. But I don't understand why the shop is induced in internal shops with very high prices, even in the shops in the internal square of the town. The paradox is that in the bazaars along the route to Venice in the Rialto bridge area, the prices of Murano glasses, identical to those we bought on the island, are 3 euros lower per piece. One out of five would come free. What a disappointment!!!

The excursion to the lagoon gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello. The boat ride through nature was breathtaking, and a stop on the island of Murano allowed us to see the glass making process and learn about the art of glassblowing.

The information given by the multilingual guide was clear and interesting to know. The islands are a must see, Burano being the most picturesque with its brightly colored houses. It was a great way to see the culture and history of Venice and the surrounding islands. The glass demo was interesting and a must . The coloured houses in Burano are eye-catching and the story behind them light hearted. With quaint restaurants, for a light bite and a glass of wine. Spent approximately an hour and half at each location.

The first 2 islands were very nice, the last one was not much (a church on an island) There were also people who did the 2 islands tour, I would recommend that to people. A visit to the glass museum is an absolute must as far as I am concerned, but I have not seen a tour in a glass factory (they must mean the museum, but you can visit it at your own expense and opportunity)

Really nice excursion to visit Murano and Burano ! The guide Andreas is perfect, he can speak lots of languages. Really practical to be able to board and get off at Santa Lucia or Saint Marco. We also visited Torcello, but I think it isn't worth the detour. The time we could spend in Murano and Burano was not enough, it would be better to skip Torcello and lengthen the time in Murano and Burano. Burano is the best spot for gorgeous photos !

"Great day! Bus was waiting at pick up point and was nice and clean. The guide spoke good English just took a bit to get used to her accent/pronounsiations. The stop halfway was really nice for a coffee. You need to pay at the till for what you want then take your receipt to the counter to order. The restaurant we stopped for lunch was just outside the ruins of Pompeii. We had a choice of pizza a drink and ice-cream which were all very good as we were hungry. Next onto the tour of Pompeii our guide for this was very passionate and very knowledgeable. It was a very hot day but she kept us interested and engaged. We had some free time at the end to visit the museum which was quite sad. Then we headed back to Rome with a toilet stop at the same place as before. I do not recommend the pizza place for lunch, the staff were rude and the food was not of good quality in my opinion! It’s was burnt and hard! The whole trip (21/08/22) was excellent from start to finish and that’s because our host Erika was amazing. We learnt so much information from her and her knowledge was outstanding. Erika was funny, happy and approachable and the driver Joseph did a super job getting us to our destinations. My only regret was that I had no more small change to give as tips because it was my last day in Rome. I must also add that I did this same trip back in August 2016 and I trust to company to deliver. Great tour! It is a long day, with a lot of time spent on the bus but our guide Eriga used the journey to give us some great information about pompei, the various areas we passed and Italy in general. She also knew when to let people relax and sleep. We got a guided tour of pompei, that included ear pieces which was great. We then had lunch which you could get yourselves or join the group for a meal organised by the guide. Finally we did a hike to look at the crater of the volcano. The tour was a large group (full coach) with a mix of solo, couples, and families.

Amazing experience, it just doesn’t hit you until you actually walk those streets, Pompeii is so powerful and sad. The trek was great but very hot, wear very comfortable shoes as the ground is uneven, I wouldn’t wear sandals. They have sticks to help walk up with, but don’t really Need them. Barbara was our guide and was brilliant, very informative, funny and friendly. The best guide I have ever had. Our driver Antonio was an super driver, getting us easily up those high and tight corners to Vesuvius. Overall recommend this trip highly, so glad we got to do it, despite the burning heat. Very nice visit to the 3 islands, even if Torcello did not have much interest. 2 large groups of about thirty people take 3 different boats at 10min intervals, so it's crowded. The very limited and fairly basic explanations are given on the boat, each sentence in the 5 different languages. It was however well organized, but very touristy.

The glass factory tour at Murano and the colorful houses at Burano are amazing! This is definitely the best deal for the buck to visit all the three islands.

Everything was super organized on the boat, but a bit crowded. Finding a meeting place was very difficult. You have to look very closely, but not so easy with the crowds because the stand is very small.

A very good tour and worth the money. Murano is beautiful and glass making and shop are excellent. Burano is lovely and lively. Torcello is nice, but quite a walk from boat to church and not much time there. Overall, a fab day out!

Very nice private tour away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of Venice.

The trip was in a beautifully restored fishing boat - a picture perfect way to spend several hours exploring the other islands. Watching glass blowing on Murano was fascinating, but you do need to be strong to resist the underlying pressure to spend money in the shop afterwards. Burano with its colourful houses was simply stunning and Torcello was so peaceful, it seemed to offer the perfect escape from the pressures of our busy lives. Our guide was charming and unobtrusive - I would definitely recommend this as a great way of exploring the smaller islands.

Selina was a very special guide. She was informative, patient, very good English and so attentive to us. The boat was great. We loved every minute. This trip helped us to understand and appreciate these islands and their importance to Venice.

A beautiful RIVA type boat, all in wood, much better than the photo ;-)) The guide was great, full of anecdotes, attentive and discreet at the same time. Seeing Venice from the lagoon and the Grand Canal is an experience in itself, in addition to the interest of the other cities visited. Murano: for its glassmakers Burano: for its pretty colored houses To do ABSOLUTELY !!

Beautiful day ! We were welcomed at the point established by mr. Manola, an exquisite person, prepared and extremely available, who accompanied us throughout the tour. First stop on the island of Murano: visit to the glass factory. Mr. Fabio, very kind, explained to us step by step the demonstration of a master glassmaker who created three beautiful objects for us. After a pleasant walk on the island we took the boat and went to Burano Manola, our super guide, made us visit the island by telling us and showing us a lot of interesting things After circumnavigating the island of Torcello (we chose not to go down) we returned to Venice enjoying the spectacle of the setting sun Beautiful, well organized, highly recommended experience, which we will definitely do again! a special thanks to Manola who made our trip special !!

"Leonardo was amazing! We went to 3 wineries and learned a lot of history along the drive: Fattoria San Michele a Tori (Alicia was a great host), then ate lunch and paired with wines at Casa Emma (Julia was also a great host), had a brief stop at Greve in Chianti for gelato, and finally Poggio Torselli (Matteo was a great host). The views and experience was fantastic! I highly recommend booking this adventure. "

"We absolutely loved the wineries and our host, Violeta. From both we learned plenty about The Tuscan winemaking process and got to visit different winemakers and taste local food, with plenty of wine provided at each tasting and time to stop in Greve between stops "

"Our guide, Leo, made this trip extra special. His knowledge about history added so much depth to the whole tour. He also sang and played the guitar for us :) very lovely tour. This one tour has made me fall in love with Italy, it’s culture, it’s history, it’s food and ofcourse it’s wine :) "

"An absolutely amazing experience! Went on this wine tour with my mom and sister for my Mom’s 60th birthday! Our tour guide Raffael absolutely made the trip outstanding. He was lots of fun and very knowledgeable! He gave us information about Florence, Tuscany, and the wineries and wine. We went to three different beautiful wineries. Lunch at the second winery was perfect and delicious! The wines were so outstanding that we shipped wine back home to the United States! The stop in Greve was nice and we enjoyed checking out the main town of Chianti. Everyone was so friendly. Our bus ride and driver were great! The scenery at the last winery was absolutely gorgeous. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Highly highly recommend!! "

"Excellent tour visiting 3 wineries in Chianti region, lunch at one. Finding the start point was easy, very well looked after by Lorenzo all day, but not smothered. Max was an excellent driver in a comfortable air conditioned bus. The tours were informative, and well paced. Nice to be able to try their olive oils too. Lunch at Casa Emma was delicious, and they catered for vegetarians, allergies etc. Also had a short stop in Greve in Chianti, enough for a drink and stretch of the legs. An excellent day out. Do it! "Great trip great guide great driver. For us best wine was Casa Emma and the view from the final stop breathtaking definitely one of many highlights. It’s an early start with first wine served around 10/10:30 so would have been nice to get a coffee and croissant at start of day ahead of the wine tasting. Would definitely recommend "

"This was a 5 star plus trip & so well worth the money. The vineyard visits were informative & interesting. The wine, oil & balsamic tasting was wonderful in addition to the tasty lunch. They Tour Guide, Leo was not only a smooth gentle driver on the windy countryside roads but also a constant Sony of interesting information about the wine, the countryside, the local history etc as well as serenading us with his guitar. A fabulous day all round. Thank you "

"Great wineries. I feel like the second winery Casa Emma was the best of the bunch. Our tour guide and the driver created a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for the entire tour. The ""special surprise"" at the end was very enjoyable. We had 20 people on the tour and I found that to be a good amount of people. All in all everything was well paced and felt relaxed. Having said all that I feel like the amount of wine we received was a bit too little. "

"This experience was the best one I had in Italy. It is worth all the money. Violeta was our guide and she is the most kind, amazing and knowledgeable guide ever. We learned a lot about the city and she even helped us at the end of the experience to find a taxi and stayed with us until it came. "

"Disclaimer that I am a wine noob, but this tour was excellent. Exceeded expectations. The wineries were gorgeous, the wine was great (to my untrained palette), and our tour guide and driver were fantastic. It's also nice that the wineries can arrange to ship their products to your home (depends on your home country, though). Couldn't recommend this enough. "

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The water taxi windows were filthy so it was very hard to enjoy the sights through those windows. That was really disappointing. My husband and son fell asleep inside the boat and my daughter and I enjoyed it while we were standing outside and able to see.

If there is only time for one activity during your visit to Venice then make it a tour of the Grand Canal.
