Details

Dubai's journey without a desert will definitely be incomplete. Imagine that a couple of dozens of years ago, the area, which is now home to the city, was a vast desert. The endless sands can now only be seen outside the city, which is where we will travel!

A walk among the sands

We combined a camel ride and a jeep safari, two common desert activities, on the tour. While driving powerful jeeps over sand dunes, you'll feel the rush of adrenaline in your body. After that, you'll travel to the camping on a tranquil camel.

There will be a delicious meal, hookah, a show with tanura, a fire show, belly dancing, and the chance to make henna at the campsite. Photographers can capture stunning images in the sand.

Significant information:

Children(aged under 3) with a separate seat and pregnant women are not allowed on safari
Please remember — the safari is pretty extreme
Smoking in public places is strongly prohibited(incl. hookah) in accordance with a law of UAE, which is the part of a comprehensive program intended to sustain the safety of the population during a pandemic. Because of that, you can only have hookah in a specially designated place for additional price
alcoholic refreshments are served for an additional fee
Children under 3 years old should be kept on an adult's lap
dinner at the VIP campsite includes: barbecue, salads, national sweets, buffet, hot and soft drinks, fruits, pastas and hookah
you have a chance to take a photo in national costumes

Excellent morning spent Dune bashing and sand boarding. Met promptly at our hotel following clear communication this evening before around exact timings. Our host was a friendly guy, who was more than happy taking pictures of us in the desert!

Female solo traveler here, I booked this the night before and was promptly confirmed. Overall trip was a blast!!! strongly recommend you book this trip even just by yourself. Sheru was my driver, very lovely guy and easy to talk to. Any questions I had he would answer. There was all men at the atv site but never once did I feel unsafe. rode around on the biggest atv (a MUST do if you're going out to the desert) at a discount. Then headed off to the desert for dune bashing which was thrilling and a little scary, but not too crazy. Then after a million pictures and some light shopping at the tire refilling place, we went back to the hotel. I would surely do this activity again.

"I had a great experience with this activity. I was a bit anxious as a female solo traveller but I felt safe throughout and it was great to share the experience with other people. I was picked up from my accommodation promptly at the time confirmed the night before. Great value for money with this experience. Tour guide was brilliant and took lots of photos to capture the moment. Only thing would be that it took a bit longer than advertised (traffic!) but I had nothing else booked for the remainder of the day so this was no issue. Would definitely recommend this activity! "

"Had 11 and 6 year old kids with me, they really enjoyed there time dune bashing and Quomar was great with photos but particularly when my daughter got covered in sand while trying tosurf the dunes (tip make sure sun lotion is applied well in advance otherwise when they fall over they look like a piece of sandpaper with it all stuck to them). "

The dune bashing was exhilarating , and sand boarding was so cool. The driver was prompt and friendly. His control and experience in controlling the 4x4 while dune bashing was truly amazing. We did not opt for the camel ride or quad bike, as neither appealed to my wife or I. This was the basic excursion, and we felt excellent value for money.

"The experience was amazing - going out in the dunes with nothing but sand for miles, the driving through dunes and sand-boarding leaving me with a sense of adventure and some fun pictures, but mostly the experience was defined by the guide Niaz. He coached me through sand-boarding and encouraged me along the way to step out of my comfort zone so I had the absolute best time! 5 stars for this quick trip out to the dunes if you’re a bit strapped for time or want a more quiet experience. "

Qamar was great at being our guide. Dune bashing was brilliant! Don’t go if you’re not happy with being thrown about and get travel sickness, but what a ride! Sand boarding was brill too and Qamar took LOADS of photos for us so we’ve got plenty of memories to take home. Recommend for thrill seekers!

Great communication from the guide . He was on time, polite and ensured we had a good time. We didn’t do the sand boarding but others did and they enjoyed it. Make sure you wear trainers as you do sink in the sand when walking on it. Also if you suffer from travel sickness be aware as you are jolted around in the jeep a lot as you go over the desert.

WOWwwww... It was an amazing experience for me. I am so glad that I chose this activity. My drive made me comfortable on my way to the desert which helped me to just focus on enjoying the ride and nothing else. Everyone must definitely experience this. The 4*4 ride was adventurous followed by the Sand boarding. Niaz helped me take some beautiful pics and videos of me in the desert which I can cherish forever. From start to finish, our driver/guide was exceptional. He arrived at our hotel on time and explained our journey to the dunes. It was an amazing experience - especially sand boarding. Guide took time to show us the best techniques not to fall off. I would highly recommend this trip.
