What can i say? I booked this tour while visiting Porto with my two sisters and it was so easy to arrange the night before the tour through the website. Andre Vidal was our fantastic tour guide and throughout the day, he was engaging, thoughtful and kept the tour moving in a well paced manner. He clearly knew lots about the area and conversed in lots of different languages to support the others in the group. Manuel, our bus driver, is deserving of honourable mention as he got us safely and punctually to and from all places on our trip. It was a high quality tour; the lunch spot, winery, river cruise and sights were all so scenic and atmospheric. The food and wines were delicious. 10/10!
Castro was a fantastic, entertaining and knowledgeable guide who also brought some laughs and good music to our tour. He also made sure to include personal time for each and every traveller. Bus driver, Jose provided us with a smooth and safe day’s travel. The Douro tour took us to more places and gave us more than just Amarante which we had thought we would visit. A great, fun and exceptional day out thanks to Castro.
We had an amazing day with our guide Tania and our driver Lucas. We had a wonderful lunch and Tania was super helpful in accommodating our different food requirements. There was a great mix of information and free time. We also got to go on an hour cruise of the Duoro Valley which was a real highlight. It was great value for money with a delicious lunch included! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
It rained excessively until we reached Santiago de Compostela and the heavens parted and the sun shown through a blue sky scattered with clouds. It was all that was needed to make the day here complete. The guide Diogo and his driver were perfect. Diogo provided excellent information to satisfy and was always open for questions and deeper insight to our destinations.
This is a great tour, short and sweet! Interesting commentary en route, nd interesting to see beautiful Costa Nova and go on the boat ride in Aveiro. Could have done with longer in Aviero to look around and have a drink but then it is a half day tour! Worth the outing to see a different environment and enjoy a change of pace. Cuber the guide was excellent. Thank you
Mano was an amazing guide! Pointed out many things on the way and way back(storks-we had never seen a stork before) from the excursion too- including recommendations for restaurants and traditional Portuguese foods. The half- day trip was perfect for us- Aveiro and Costa Nova were both places we got to see some small towns in Portugal instead of just the cities.
The whole experience was great from start to finish. Our guide was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and made the afternoon very interesting and enjoyable. Went above and beyond by dropping us near the boat trip at the end of the tour and giving us a fantastic tip to make our return to our hotel easier. Extremely happy with our afternoon with Valdemar.
We visited beautiful places, learned about Port wines, and lunched on tasty food. Due to rain and wind, we couldn’t do the river boat trip, which was a disappointment but totally understandable. Ended up visiting an additional winery. Our guide Nelson spoke both Portuguese and English, and made sure we all enjoyed the tour.
Carlos was a very good guide. He explained clearly what we were visiting, and he had a wonderful sense of humor - I appreciated his jokes. It was also helpful that the six bridges boat tour could be done anytime after the bus tour, as it allowed us to do the boat tour later that afternoon.
What a great day. Went t a couple of fantastic cities during the and our guide Miguel kept us fully informed with his wealth of knowledge. The river trip was peaceful and beautiful and the tour of the Croft estate excellent. A real must do trip to get a real flavour of the Douro region.
Excellent tour guide (Susana Cruz), pleasant ride, best care. Point of criticism: according to the program, the tour should also go to Barcelos, according to the tour guide, this visit is no longer included in this tour, a pity! Barceloss should therefore be removed from the program.
Alex was an excellent guide. We first walked around the Cathedral and then the Old Train Station—we had been to both already, but learned so much from him about them. The Port Wine Cellar was great. We then went on the relaxing cruise on our own. Highly recommend.
Aveiro and Costa Nova were very unique towns to visit. Very much enjoyed both. Carlos was a great guide. I would’ve liked to have spent at least an hour or so longer in Aveiro and Costa Nova to see more of the streets, shops, and restaurants. Felt a bit rushed.
The tour guide picked us up at our hotel in Porto and drove through the individual stations of the trip in a small international group. She informed competently about the country and people, as well as about the destinations. Overall highly recommended.
Mario was extremely pleasant. He quickly put the group at ease and spoke to us In English and French. The tour was very informative as he knows so well Portugal and Spain. His driving was.very good and he is a patient driver. He deserves a 10-star rate!
João was an excellent guide. He pointed out points of interest. Always attentive to our needs. His lunch recommendation was definitely the best we had in Portugal. We had fresh grilled seafood. Thank you João for making this tour a memorable one.
Anabelle was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and lots of fun. Would have preferred a different winery to tour as the winery guide was so quiet it was hard to follow. Still worth the 5 stars as we truly enjoyed the experience.
Carlos is an excellent guide. He was also warm, helpful and had a great sense of humour. Carlos was also super knowledgeable and informative which added so much value to the experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide for the tour.
I really enjoyed my trip. Our guide was Susana, and she was awesome! She was very accommodating. Always providing information along the route. Thanks to all the info she provided I will now do the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
Wonderful! Very helpful, warm and caring tour guides and great driver. Stayed for the mass. Afterwards we toured the cathedral and then delicious tapas. We also stopped in a Minho town and had snacks and a short tour of the area.
Very interesting. Beautiful historical sites. Great guide José. Free time a little short to do shopping and cultural visits at the same time (you have to choose) except at noon: impeccable. To do. I recommend.
Very interesting tour, half a day is enough and not tiring. The colorful houses in Costa Nova are very beautiful, the boat ride in Aveiro is interesting for both adults and children. It was a fun day.
Miguel was an excellent tour guide with great info & sense of humour. Highly recommend. The driver Nuno was a good driver (we didn't get lost 🤣) and friendly. Highly recommend this tour!
Really enjoyed the trip, lovely experience, our tour guide Alexandra was excellent, incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, he really made our trip so interesting and enjoyable. 👏👏
This was a very interesting tour. It was a great way to get a taste of another part of Portugal. The guides were knowledgeable and the driver was courteous and professional.
Alexandre, Alexandre, a guide we will not forget! Thank you for this day and your explanations with humor and anecdotes. I recommend this activity, beautiful places to see.
The tour was really good. Margarida, the guide, was super nice and helpful, always explaining everything really well. I also really liked the visit to the winery.
Fantastic way to spend the day!! Fall certainly is a perfect time to enjoy this adventure the views, weather & lack of crowds made this a perfect trip.
The guide was extremely pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable..it was our first tour in Portugal and she made it a very enjoyable experience for us .
Seeing such high grapevines was spectacular. Something I would never have imagined. The views were stunning. Great to travel in a small bus.
Pedro was great in managing the group and providing relevant insights from a regional and local viewpoint, being from the area himself.
Overall the tour was great! Our tour guide was excellent, very helpful and a good driver. Also very courteous plus very very gentle.
The trip was an spiritual itinerary with unforgettable moments! Paul, the guide is kind, very well trained and the best driver!
All good..loved the view from across the bridge. Great guide. Everything was so close and you can explore it again later.
Loved the tour with the guide Manuel and also the group I was part of. Very beautiful region and the lunch was a delight.
Great all around experience with walking tour, bus on the more hilly and construction area of Porto and river cruise.
Our tour guide was very informative and was super casual about the tour. He was also a good driver, not slow as many.
Nice way to see Porto highlights and learn about the city's history. Sao Bento train station is a special stop!
The experience was great. Our guide, Ricardo, provided us with a lot of information. He was really nice.
Diogo was so knowledgeable and friendly. a great guide for a great day out. thanks for a lovely day.
