Admire the famous collections of the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, including iconic works of art such as Caravaggio’s Fruit Basket, Raphael’s Cartoon for the School of Athens, Bruegel’s vibrant Vase of Flowers and Leonardo da Vinci’s Portrait of a Musician. Visit the 17th-century library’s reading room with Leonardo da Vinci’s original drawings from the Codex Atlanticus. Then head to the Crypt of San Sepolcro, a medieval underground church whose pavement was paved with the ancient stones of the ancient city of Mediolanum: a true journey into the heart of Milan and through the city’s history!

Please take into account

• You will start your visit at the Ambrosian Gallery, Piazza Pio XI 2, and then go to the Crypt of San Sepolcro, Piazza San Sepolcro.
• A full tour of the Pinacoteca usually lasts 1.5 hours, while a visit to the crypt takes 30-40 minutes.
• The last entrance to the crypt is at 17:30 and it closes at 18:00, please make sure you finish your visit to the Pinakothek in time to see the crypt.
• The event is not fully accessible for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility, as the crypt has architectural barriers. Most of the exhibition halls of the Pinakothek are wheelchair accessible (it is therefore recommended to book a place for the Pinakothek only).
