We continue to Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the 5 villages of the Cinque Terre. With no traffic, it remains one of the most authentic fishing villages on the Italian Riviera. The restaurants, bars and accommodation have a charmingly homely atmosphere. From Monterosso, begin the last leg of your journey by taking the train to Sestri Levante, where a bus will be waiting to take you back to Milan. These five charming medieval villages line the coast, offering breathtaking views of the sea. They are now part of a national park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
